Peanut butter and jelly fans, listen up!

First, we tried making French toast with Hawaiian rolls and now there’s a drool-worthy peanut butter and jelly version trending online. This delicious idea involves soft pillowy sandwiches from the freezer section called Uncrustables.

My kids love them as quick sandwiches on the go, and turns out that Uncrustables French toast is GENIUS. I think you could honestly just make a homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwich for this instead if desired.

We first spotted this idea on Instagram and had to try! You can always easily make your own Uncrustables at home using a sandwich cutter and sealer like this one if store-bought Uncrustables aren’t for you. This could be a breakfast recipe or more of a sweet dessert or treat.

My teenagers were super impressed with this fun French toast idea and immediately made one for themselves. There was enough of the milk and egg mixture to dunk two more sandwiches in.

Uncrustables French toast proves to be an over-the-top peanut butter experience.

Wow! If anything came from this experience it’s that toasted pan-fried Uncrustables are so NEXT LEVEL delicious. I love how the peanut butter gets nicely melted and so gooey. I topped mine with a little bit of powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of maple syrup. I highly recommend those additions as it was so tasty!

Next time I may try just making a PB&J using bread with the crust and proceeding because I honestly love the crust too!
