Strawberry banana smoothie recipe tips:

  • You can use frozen strawberries instead and omit the ice in the recipe. Using frozen berries will also make the smoothie a touch sweeter.
  • For this drink, there’s no need to add sugar! The berries and bananas provide tons of sweetness, though adding sugar or honey is undoubtedly an option if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • I love using a Nutribullet to make my blended drinks — it’s easy to clean and I can even drink my smoothie directly from the blending cup!
  • You can always add chia seeds or spinach to this smoothie for a healthy boost.

Good morning, when you freeze it, it’s it hard to reblend it?

  2. Crystal

Replace the almond milk with apple juice and you have a Strawberries Wild 🙂

Thank you Crystal, that is my absolute favorite!

Want to try a smoothie from a health food restaurant of the mid 70s? Put in a can of frozen orange juice in a regular blender. Fill the blender 2/3rds of the way up with water. Add 2-3 bananas cut in circles along with 5 strawberries and a TBS of honey. If you like it real thick freeze the fruit. If you like it more like a shake use fresh.

Sounds delicious, Sylvia. Thanks for sharing this quick and easy recipe! 🥰
