“My pup, Susan, absolutely loves her BarkBox! She will not stop carrying around her new squeaking toy all through the house. I have ordered BarkBoxes in the past, and I have always been impressed with the quality and variety of them. I sometimes buy toys from brick and mortar stores, but Susan’s favorites are consistently the ones that arrive in the BarkBoxes. I highly recommend BarkBox to anyone looking to get their furry friends a gift (or looking to get the parents of a furry friend a gift)!”

“I’ve ordered other subscription boxes in the past and I’ve never been overly enthusiastic about the contents, but this one is so adorable – it’s definitely a cute box full of fun treats for pups! The moment I opened the box I had three eager dogs shoving their heads inside and there were even enough treats and toys for everyone. I did a 3 month subscription to Super Chewer Bark box, but cancelled a few weeks ago. Customer services was great, products were cute, but they just don’t last. Most of what my pup got was destroyed the first day, replacements sent, and those also destroyed immediately. I even went with the larger toys for my pup who is 49 lbs. I hope they can come up with toys that last, because the employees themselves were great, and I’d LOVE to have great toys for my dog. But I’d caution against them for now if your dog is really a super chewer.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks SO much for the helpful warning, Ashley! Hoping one of the other subscription boxes work better for your pup if you decide to give them a try.

    • Carrie S

I agree with you Ashely! I had little pieces of rubber all over my house with in a hour of given my dog her toys from the Super Chewer box. They made me pre pay for 6 months so I’m afraid I’ll have to deal with this for the next 5 months :(. I really don’t want any replacement because I’ll just have to clean those up too.

      • Ashley

Tell them the situation! Maybe they’ll let you cancel/refund? I had to commit to 3 months, but was billed once a month. Customer service really was great for us. But yes, they don’t last for super chewers. I can’t image what my dog could do to their regular box! It’s a lot of money for an hour of fun (max) and a mess to clean up.

        • Benji

Ashley, did you now that we have a Scout’s Honor promise to get replacements out if anything gets destroyed? We also have the ability to TAILor your boxes for the materials and toys that work best for your pup. Reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com and chat with us about it!

      • Benji

Carrie, we’re sorry to hear you didn’t have the best experience with your boxes. It sounds like your pup may have done better with harder nylon materials or tougher rubbers. We have a TAILored program that can mark needs and preferences for those types of toys! Feel free to reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com and we would love to tell you all about it and see what we can do.

    • Meranda

That’s happens to us too!! I love the super chewer box though because of the customer service. My dog just also has too much fun tearing the toys apart so I feel bad taking that away from him, hahaha

    • Ashley Rose

I’ve been sending email after email trying to get my money refunded from my last BarkBox. They apparently don’t respond well to asking for refunds. They now aren’t answering any of my emails. I don’t think they’d let u cancel early. I’ve not been impressed with them at all. I wish I’d realized I was signing up for a six month subscription. I thought it was just the one month and I can cancel.

      • Benji

Ashley, it’s never our intention to make our customers feel ignored. I’m very sorry that there’s been a delay in getting in touch with you. We would be more than happy to speak with you and see what we can do to make this right for you and your pup if you can reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com.

    • Benji

Hey Ashley! We’re sorry to hear you had such a negative experience with your BarkBox toys. We always appreciate hearing feedback from our subscribers. One of the great things about designing new toys each and every month is that we have a new chance to improve each month based on what we hear from our awesome customers.

Did you know we have a TAILored program now that can customize materials and even assortments? We’d love to talk with you more about it. Feel free to reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com to speak with us. 🙂

  2. Diana

We have ordered the Bark Box before, but my labs would chew the stuffy and leave a mess. We then ordered the Super Chewer Box, a 12 month subscription, and even these rubber toys are chewed to bits! Literal bits, everywhere. I’m ready to be done with my subscription only because the toys last a short time in our house. Customer service is great, but not enough for me to renew the next go around. My labs need to be toy testers or I need to invent toys that are “lab tested and approved!” 😉

    • Benji

Diana, we’re always looking to hear feedback from our customers about their Super Chewer experiences. After all, when your pup gets ahold of those toys, lab-tested is exactly what they are. Please reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com and we’d be happy to see what we can do to improve your boxes and hear what we can make better for you.

  3. shop4mybabies

i’m going to order the petmate goodie box for my mutt for christmas.

  4. Susan31652

We did 6 months of Barkbox. The toys are great, and I was able to ask them to not send treats as I am selective about what our dog eats. We did get one box of the same theme twice, which was disappointing, but they sent a new box out at no cost. They do sell some Barkbox toys at Target, so I am able to buy what I like. Many of the toys have another toy inside them, and it worries me to think about my idiot dog eating through a toy to find another.

    • Benji

Susan, we’re so happy to hear your boxes have been a hit. We totally understand your hesitation about those dual layer toys. Did you know we can TAILor your box to exclude toy-in-toy toys along with that no-treat TAILoring? Just reach out to Happy@BarkBox.com!

  5. Tina

Ditto what everyone is saying about the Super Chewer Bark Box. My puppy destroyed the toys in no time at all. For those of you who have super chewing dogs who are bound and determined to kill every toy they come across, I highly recommend Goughnuts toys. You can find them on the manufacturers website or on Amazon. They are pricey but they last, in fact we’ve had toys for months that have zero signs of wear. If your dog manages to damage the Goughnuts they have an awesome warranty. Check them out!

    • Benji

Tina, did you know that our Super Chewer boxes have a 100% replacement policy to help keep the fun going? We know that no toy is indestructible, but we want to do our best to work with you to find the best TAILoring options and replacements to make playtime last. Reach out to Happy@SuperChewer.com and we can get you all set up with something new.

  6. Summer

I am with the group on the Super Chewers and my black lab completely destroying the toys so quickly. A huge mess and really … why would I want another one for him to eat, as a replacement?! It comes out either in the yard or because he ate it, he throws it up. I disagree with them being for “super chewers.” Fortunately mine was a gift. I am going to try the Goughnuts! Thanks for the info Tina!
