    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Oh cool! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Geena777

  3. Mendy

How did I not know about some of these lol 🤦🏽‍♀️

  4. H

I want some of those wool garlands so bad- but no Trader Joe’s in my area 🙁

    • Annie

Look on Etsy, there are sellers who make custom ones on there

  5. Pharmchick104

My TJs was out of almost everything! I only went for the jingle jangle sad face. Too many tj fans around me lol. Im still sad I missed on the everything but the leftovers seasoning.

  6. Materof6

Any tips for “catching” these during the season? Every year, they usually sell out pretty quickly! Is the first part of the day the best time? One manager told me to come for the Grinch trees before noon. I did that, but to no avail. Nevertheless, thanks so much for the post! These are great ideas for treats and goodies!

    • Cathy

I have the same problem you do. I really wanted the hot chocolate meltable snowman and no matter how hard I tried it was always out of stock. I went up to the customer service desk a couple of times to check. I guess it was lucky for me that the same lady worked the desk because after the 3rd time seeing me I asked what the trick was to scoring one. She indicated the store gets a limited number of boxes each evening which they put out after hours and it goes within an hour of the store opening. It is not possible for me to get there at opening due to work. She said if I was willing to come back a fourth time she would set a couple aside for me! Never hurts to ask if they can put some aside.

      • Kim J

I got the same meltable snowman at Walgreens. Try there.

      • Arlene

I wanted the hot cocoa snowman as well. Couldn’t find one in store but they are all over offerup, eBay, Mercari etc…for $10 or more plus shipping!🙄 That is why they sell out so quickly. Besides being popular, people snatch up a bunch to resell.

  7. Hititpearl

Every year we try to make a gingerbread house and it always falls apart. This year is the first time we bought the TJs version and it’s really solid. That thing can last through a hurricane. Lol. The snowman was fun to watch but the taste was way too sweet.

    • nita

Thanks! Good to know. Good diy Gingerbread houses are hard to find!

  8. Patricia Goff

I would eat 2 and 6 but that is all…. I am going to go and see what german goodies they have this year. Already went to Aldi’s when I was in OK. I know I need the Christmas wine. Wouldn’t be Christmas without it. Brings back memories of all the German Christmas markets.

  9. Sally

I tried like crazy to get the wool ball garland last year. I could never find it in stock. I saw someone buying a big clump of it at the thrift store recently and was so jealous. oh well.

  10. Jody Paul

Most of these items are already sold out in my area.

  11. ahipster

Joe-joe’s Chocolate Enrobed Sandwich Cookies in 4 flavors are our family’s favorite.

    • Nat

      Omg those are so good.

  12. Patricia Goff

If I can’t find them at Trader Joes I will hit Aldi when I go to TN to see my brother.

    • Diane

Be very careful in TN sadly we are currently highest in the nation for Covid per population. No state wide mask mandate.

  13. keykodavidson

I love the gingerbread people cookies!

  14. orangeblue

I got the dog advent calendars back before thanksgiving. My dogs love them! By now they know each morning they get a treat because when we wake up they go straight to the kitchen counter, look up and wait for the treat

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Awww, how sweet! It sounds adorable!

  15. Ice Cream Fan

The Jo Jo’s ice cream!!!! Drool!!!

  16. Katie

Ive never seen the illusive wool garland but I have managed to snag a few pot holders throughout the years- they are so nice!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Just wait till you find that garland! It’s so much fun! Thanks for telling us about the potholders, Katie!

  17. Mimi

I was lucky enough to get the garland last year and I remember just going to the store on a whim an hour before closing. It seemed like they were restocking for the next day.

  18. TC

A few of the items listed (grump tree, floating snowman) my TJ’s has had to put limits on due to some customers coming in and wiping out their limited inventory last year (for resale I was told?). I for one appreciate this approach! Lets more customers have the opportunity to get some of their seasonal offerings 🙂

  19. nita

Love TJ’s but I steer clear of their decadent bakery and sweets for the saturated fat content, they are off the charts! 😩

  20. Dana

Got the cat advent calendar for the first time this year. While it is cute, my cats won’t eat the treats. They are very hard, too.

  21. todd-0

How can you guys miss the absolute best holiday treat from Trader Joes? The big tins of peppermint bark, its amazing!!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll have to look for those too!

  22. Corey

I found 1 Lb chocolate bars for $5!!! not exactly holiday, a bit big for stockings, but a super treat for under the tree!! Especially when most others are over 2-3 times the price!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! Nice find, Corey! Thanks for sharing with us!
