LOVE my Hallmark movies- yea- they are predictable, but I don’t care- we record all the new ones- still have about 35+ Christmas ones to finish between Hallmark, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries and Lifetime 😁

    • Dkp91576

Haha agreed. Plot does not matter, I only focus on the chemistry of the leads. I must say I would love to visit 150 fake christmas towns around the world, with huge trees and tons of cookie decorating competitions. Oh and my goal is to marry a prince from an imaginary country who isn’t happy in his role.

      • Alex

Oh my gosh- the thought of getting to go to one of β€œthese towns” is absolutely wonderful- ALWAYS the perfect, most gorgeous settings- AND the homes are always so beautiful!

        • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

I’m happy to join you! A visit to a Hallmark Christmas town sounds so fun!!

        • Jackie

Absolutely! We know all these end the same. These movies all make everything feel cozy

      • Maggie

Someday plan a winter trip with your spouse — but not kids — to visit Bavaria at Christmas time. Nuremberg has the best Christmas Market in Europe — handmade wooden toys, hot mulled wine, and the town’s famous gingerbread (Lebkuchen). While in the region, drive to Schloss Neuschwanstein (castle), which is the real castle that inspired the Disneyland castle, and it’s most beautiful when there’s snow. Go for real and authentic with someone you love!

        • deir

I agree I lived in Augsburg Germany years ago it’s so beautiful at Christmas.

        • Kristi

I agree! I saw a special on Create TV about the holiday season in Bavaria. It made me feel like I was actually there. It was amazing.
But, if you’re not able to get to Bavaria for the holidays I have a close alternative.
We live in Washington state. There’s a beautiful town in Eastern Wa. called Leavenworth that is identical to a small Bavarian town. It’s quaint, gets lots of snow in the winter and really turns into a Hallmark Christmas movie during the holidays. They’re known for their authentic German cuisine, quaint little shops, Christmas lights and decorations. They have tons of festivities and a beautiful Christmas tree lighting celebration in December. I’ve been going there just to relax and get away for years. It’s like a Hallmark movie!πŸŽπŸŽ„πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

          • AuntJenny

Thank you for your post on Leavenworth, WA. I’ve gone to their web site the place looks magical and found they have live webcams too. My sister moved to WA two years ago, hopefully soon we can road trip there.

      • Peaches

I’m with you on the perfect Christmas towns. But I’m pretty sure at 63 I’ve missed my chance at a real prince!

        • Shirley Yeo

          Never say “never”, Peaches! πŸ˜‰

        • markiesluv

Never too late!! Don’t give up!!

      • Kristi

        Love it! You’re too funnyπŸ˜‚
        You never know…..

  2. Donnarn67

Hallmark needs to start a travel agency !! Fall tours of all the pretty foliage and apple 🍎 orchards !! Then Christmas tours of these quaint little perfect towns with the gorgeous decorations !! Stay in one of the exquisitely decorated homes !!! Y’all let me win the lottery and I will start this little venture up !!πŸ€ΆπŸŽ…πŸŽ„

  3. Chelle

Love Hallmark movies! I use the Hallmark Movie Checklist App to keep track of what I have watched. The names are so similar it is hard to remember what I have seen sometimes. The app makes it much easier, especially when they are not a new movie.

  4. Sharon

The Hallmark movies have kept me going during this pandemic. Happy endings is what I can use nowadays.

    • Kristi

Me too Sharon! It made me forget about all the sadness with the pandemic for awhile. Nothing wrong with that!πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜Š

  5. Michelle Walker

I have dropped cable and now have YoutubeTV. Is the only way to get the Hallmark Christmas movies through their app? or thru the Friendly app? Thanks for any info. (P.S. I now save $110 a month cancelling my Spectrum cable). Woohoo

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I did a little research and to get the current Hallmark Christmas movies without cable, the Frndly TV app is the best way to watch.

      • Jaime

        THANK YOU!!!!

    • Barbara Campeggio

We get all the Hallmark Channels with Philo – about $20/month.

    • BrandieCannonGraham

If you have certain AT&T Unlimited cell phone plans, they offer ATT WatchTV for free with the plan. Both Hallmark Channels and Lifetime are available through this app, and best of all it’s free since it’s a β€œperk” of my cell phone plan.

    • Amie

YouTube TV has the Hallmark Channel so you are all set to watch all the Christmas movies! We canceled cable too and went with Sling a few years ago who at the time were the only streaming service with hallmark-now there are quite a few-Sling, YouTube TV, Frndly, Philo, Fubo, Vidgo, and a think a few others.

    • Sasha

Michelle, I recently switched to YouTube TV and get all the new Hallmark movies on it, no problem! If you click on the magnifying glass, you should be able to enter the title of upcoming movies and set them to record to your DVR.

  6. Brian Boyd

Don’t forget the Godwinks Christmas Movies! #4 is in production now for Hallmark this year! (I work for Godwinks so I’m a little biased)

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How cool! Thanks for the suggestion!

  7. Evie

I do not get why Hallmark and so many channels keep replaying the same old of only a couple of years ago. They should replay even their first movies ever made.
Is anyone town ever decorated like a Hallmark movie? It was that way when I was younger.
Now everything has been cheapened and not for the better!

    • Carol P

I agree, I like the Mrs and Mr Miracle series. They are stopping including them. I’ve been watching Great American Family. They have been playing the Miracle series. And Candace Cameron Bure is making movies for them.

  8. daniellecorwin-duke

I love the xmas movies my 19 year old son has watched them with me for years now. Thanks for posting now i know what we will be doing on his 2 nights off a week ❀️

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How sweet! Glad you can enjoy them together! You’re SO welcome!

  9. kspwife859

Does anyone have a favorite Hallmark Christmas they would like to share? My top 3: 1. The Christmas Card 2. Nine Lives of Christmas 3. A Very Merry Mix Up And the Mrs Miracle movie with Doris Roberts

    • Blessed

Love all those you listed A December Bride is my number 1

      • Peaches

My favorite is The Spirit of Christmas. Love that movie!

        • Sue

Me too. The movie is great and so is Thomas Beaudoin. So good looking!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh yes! Love those too! Here are some of my favorites –
      Crown for Christmas
      The Christmas Cottage
      A Bride for Christmas
      Check Inn to Christmas

    • Chris

      1. Journey Back to Christmas
      2. A Very Merry Mix-up
      3. Christmas in Evergreen
      4. One Starry Christmas
      5. A Heavenly Christmas
      6. A Christmas Wish
      7. The Christmas Card
      8. The Most Wonderful Tine of the Year
      9. Northpole
      10. Holly & Ivy

  10. OllieG

They filmed one of the movies from last year in Big Bear, CA where we have a cabin. Loved seeing all the local spots on TV. I also enjoyed watching the gay Xmas movie they premiered last year. I hope they have another one this year.

  11. Jessica L

A lot of the movies are filmed in CT and Canada. I got to meet a bunch of the actors when I volunteered at the Christmas Convention. They’re soo nice! December Bride and the Christmas at Evergreen series are my favorites.

  12. jane

My favorite Christmas Movie is Signed Sealed Delivered For Christmas- There are so many layers to it- not just a romance- talks about family love and being your best too. It inspires and entertains- has humor too. Written by Martha Williamson- who wrote Touched by an Angel. The series is airing their newest movie on Oct. 17 at 9PM E. on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How cool! Thanks for the suggestion, Jane! I’ll have to watch it!

  13. Tired Mama

Can these movies be viewed on the Hallmark App? I’m considering getting it, don’t have cable, no real use for it, but apps, we use. I just don’t want to get it to be limited to older titles, the new ones would be nice.

    • Peaches

Try Philo. They don’t do contracts so you can cancel any time without penalty. They have all three Hallmark channels as well as UPTV. Best of all they are $25 a month. (No locals and no sports keep that price down).

  14. SavingsMama

Sometimes these movies get too centered on the “lovey dovey” aspects of the plot. I just want to let anyone out there who is divorced, single, separated, widowed etc. to remember there is far more to the holiday season. Find the joy in your current situation and be happy where you’re at! Also, consider volunteering if you find the holidays to especially challenging. 😘

    • Ariavenew

^yes^ πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ though I do love the hallmark movies, lol

  15. Lesomom

My favorites are Naughty or nice, Borrowed Hearts, Christmas under the stars, Christmas next door, Christmas in evergreen β€οΈπŸŽ„

  16. Shari

Thank you hip to save for posting this list😊
I have lots of favorites but I think one of the best is Christmas in Rome!
    Once upon a Christmas miracle
    Christmas Tree lane
Each year we as a family try to sit together and watch the movies.

  17. shinepm

    The Christmas Spirit ❀❀❀

  18. Jessica Lodge

I’m so pleased that Hallmark Channel is incorporating more cast of color this year. As a Black woman, I have been wanting to see this variety for so long. I hope to see this representation extend to other cultures as well. I’m a Harlemite so I will be front and center for A Holiday in Harlem!!!

    • Brigitte

Same feeling here! It’s awesome! I love this.

  19. Steph

I too have a guilty pleasure for indulging in hallmark movies! And although I have to admit they are mostly cheesy , I figure who doesn’t need a little more cheese πŸ§€ to go with their wine 🍷 πŸ€ͺ🀣

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I enjoy them too, Steph! Thanks for commenting!

  20. Brigitte

A Kiss before Christmas made me cry! You all have to watch it!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the recommendation, Brigitte! That one does look cute! I’ve caught parts of it but haven’t been able to watch that one in full yet.

  21. Lisa

Frndly tv is the very BEST way to watch all these movies. Its less than $10 a month and has all the Hallmark and Lifetime channels plus GAC Family which has its own Christmas movies. It comes with DVR and live tv. They can take ALL my money during the holidays.

    • jennonthego

Lol! Yes — and if ever there was a year we need happy endings, this is it (again)! πŸŒ²πŸŽ€πŸŒŸ

  22. Des

Switching to GAC this year! More Christian based movies….the reason of the season!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Glad that you’ve found a network that you enjoy watching for the holidays, Des! Thanks for sharing! πŸŽ„πŸ’—

    • Carol P

I’ve been watching on Great American Family too….GAC. They have Candice Cameron Bure and a few more that I like.

      • Claudette (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for pointing this out, Carol P!!! I love Candice Cameron Bure!!!πŸ’—

  23. a

I have prime, netflix and hulu. I don’t want to pay more! Where can I watch these Hallmark movies?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! If you click through one of the links in the post, it looks like there may be an option to “Watch Live.” Hope this is helpful! ❀️

  24. siena95

These movies are always such a let down in the end. Not a fan. A good romance movie? Nottinghill, or As Good as it Gets.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your recommendations, siena95! πŸ₯°

  25. Sue

Did Candace Cameron Bure leave Hallmark? I really like her movies. I was thinking about getting Hallmark but if she is gone I don’t want it.

    • Claudette (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Sue! In April, Cameron-Bure announced that she was leaving Hallmark. I really like her also and look forward to watching her movies.

  26. Glenda

Love the winter scenes in the Christmas movies…but…3/4 of the country does not have a white Christmas. Would love to see more than 1 or 2 movies with a setting in the Gulf Coast or CA with warm sunshine and Santa on a motorized sleigh.
