I’m sure you’ve all heard of Money Trees before, also known as the Chinese Money Tree, Good Luck Tree, Malabar Chestnut, Guiana Chestnut, French Peanut… ya get the point, but if you haven’t stopped by your local Home Depot yet, you’re totally missing out! 🤩

Money Trees are known for their unique braided trunks, lush green leaves, and are said to bring luck and wealth to any home. If you’re not one to believe in these good fortunes – your life is about to do a total 180 because…

Home Depot is selling Money Trees with ACTUAL money growing on them. 🤯

I know, I know… I couldn’t believe my eyes either! Plus, the one I found was already potted in a gorgeous cement pot and full of greenery so there was no way I was passing up this steal! 😍

Of course, I was all over this plant when I heard about it (#plantladyproblems)! It was just $29, but…

I’ve already picked $67 off this Money Tree and the bills just keep on coming! 😱

Talk about getting some serious bang for your buck! 👏 This plant not only brings so much joy to our home but hello…, who doesn’t love FREE money?! 😍 Work smarter not harder, am I right?! 😉

It’s even been dropping bills left & right to make room for new cash – it’s almost as if it knows I’m about to head to Target or something. 😅

…Or that my son has been bugging me for a new mountain bike.

…Or that it knows my daughter needs 500 more Hatchimals and LOL dolls in her life.

The opportunities are endless, friends. 🙌

It’s also simple to keep alive, so don’t feel like you need a green thumb to make this relationship work. A little watering once a week should do the trick and if you notice some of your bills are coming out wrinkled, just give it a little more water, and voila!

Either way, the wrinkled bills are just as good as the crispy ones so ya just can’t go wrong with this purchase…it’s been my favorite one so far this year!

Running to scoop one of these money trees up for yourself?!

As much as I wish it wasn’t true, I am totally pranking ya, friends! That said, we’re all patiently waiting for Home Depot to figure out how to grow these babies one day…so stay tuned because you know I’ll likely be the first to tell ya! 😉

In the meantime, check out some actual Money Trees at Home Depot to spruce up your home with fresh greenery (and let us know if they ever start sprouting real bills!)

Take me back to the REAL great deals.

I actually bought a “money tree” at Aldi’s almost a year ago. It was about 8-10 inches tall and now it is well over 2 feet! I do not have a history of being able to keep even a cactus alive so this plant has brought me so much joy and so many compliments from my co-workers.
It is true a plant in an office makes a difference-my sister had sent me an article about it and I thought I would try it–truly never believing I could keep a plant alive longer than 2 weeks. ๐Ÿ™‚
