This Reader Made “Orange You Glad it’s Summer” Gifts for Her Kids
Looking for an easy way to make someone smile?
There’s nothing more satisfying than the little things that make us smile! It feels good to do something simple yet sweet for our loved ones. This week’s Happy Friday reader, Rebecca, put together a little gift set for her family that was easy to make and heartfelt. 🧡
With the school year wrapping up, I wanted to share the end of the year treat I made for my kids. I have 3 boys, ages 16, 13, and 6, so doing something they all enjoy can be tough. I love to make little color pun gifts. They are fun and can fit any budget.
I found a free printable online and grabbed some of their favorite snacks, including Reese’s, Gatorade, M&M’s, and Cheetos, while grocery shopping. I had a couple of extras, so I made my husband a little treat as well 😉 It wasn’t much, but it made them smile. Hope you all have a safe and happy summer!
How adorable is this set up?! Thank you for sharing this, Rebecca; I’m sure this brightened everyone’s day. I especially love the printable you got from Pizzazzerie. With this idea, it’s easy to customize it to your giftee’s taste, and maybe even change the colors!
HAPPY FRIDAY!

Awww – what a fun surprise for your family. Love that you even added the orange balloons. They’ll love it. 🙂
So cute! Great job! Thanks for sharing!!!
Cute idea!! I am sure the boys will love those snacks👍
Such a fun idea!!
Luv this! Luv color-themed gifts. I’ve done the yellow ones to cheer friends up. I’ve done blue ones for a “blue for missing u” farewell gift. I recently did blue again as goody bags for my son’s baby sprinkle. Will try this orange one next. I like it that it’s more versatile. U can say “Orange u glad ____” for anything. Congrats!
