Save up to 50% Off Groceries w/ the FREE Flashfood App
Get a deal on groceries with the Flashfood app! Here’s how!
These days, many of us are struggling to afford our regular groceries. If the prices at the store have you down, we know a way to lower your costs… download the FREE Flashfood app!
What is Flashfood?
It’s an app that connects you with major grocery stores in your area that need to get rid of food set to expire soon. All the items are still fresh and available for up to 50% off. Plus, the expiration date is included on every listing, so you’ll know how long you have to use a product before purchasing!
When I searched for Flashfood near me, I saw popular deals on items like meat, dairy, produce, fresh baked goods, and more! Some of the grocery stores participating include Meijer, Stop & Shop, Martin’s, Giant Eagle, Piggly Wiggly, and Tops.
Using the Flashfood app could be a great way to save on food for a last-minute get-together, pastries for the office, or dinner for tonight. Not only will you help reduce food waste, but you might just find what you need for 50% off!
Hip2Save’s Paige recently used Flashfood and she scored all the groceries above for just $10! 🤩
Here’s Paige’s Flashfood review:
“I bought all of this with the app Flashfood! Grand total – $10! It’s food that’s close to expiring through grocery stores and DoorDash. I freeze our bread anyway, so oh my word.”
There are Flashfood locations across the country.
Search the website or Flashfood app using either GPS or the map feature. When I explored the app, I saw there were Flashfood deals available in lots of major U.S. cities, especially in the Midwest, East Coast, and South. Though it’s less available out West, there are a few Flashfood locations in major Western cities.
Flashfood is for pickup orders, so keep that in mind when choosing your location.
Hip Tip: Is your app showing nearby locations, but not showing any available deals? Click the “List” option in the right corner of your map. When I tried this, a ton of available deals appeared that hadn’t shown up when I first opened the app.
Check out some of these deals I saw…

There is not a current Flashfood promo code. However, there is a Flashfood referral program!

Don’t have Flashfood deals near you? Try the similar Too Good To Go app!
The biggest challenge I have run into using the Flashfood app over the last couple of years is the stores listed in the app actually participating/ posting items. Recently I have sent an offer for a specific grocery store that I have used numerous times ($5 off of $15) but the store has only had two tubs of hummus posted over the last few days. I check the app over and over again in case I’m just missing the items but nothing gets added. When items are posted they are good it would just be better if the stores around me posted more than almost over ripe produce.
Sorry to hear that, Jim. That does sound frustrating. Thanks for sharing your experience. Hoping the stores near you begin to post more! ❤️
