i prefer the shutterfly books. i felt like these are little grainy-er and the colors were a little off. they are ok for the cost, but i didn’t think they were the best quality. also, because they come from overseas, the shipping takes a bit.
Yes, the shipping takes a bit, and I can’t vouch for Shutterfly, but I have not had another problems with their Artscow photobooks, I have ordered about 10 of them, and I have only only had problems with pictures looking grainy if they were originally film pictures, but I have had this problem from EVERY mass producing picture company, let’s face it (I’m a photographer) and in my opinion, if you wanty high quality things taken from film, go to a local photo shop, otherwise, sites like Artscow areawesome, and for the price of everything (they foten have deals for photobooks as low as 3.99 shipped), its worth it if you don’t mind the wait since it is coming from Hong Kong.

The quality is the same as a makeup bag that you would purchase with the cuteness factor being the pictures you are able to add in addition to the great price. I picked up 4 for Mother’s Day- thanks for the head’s up that it will take some time. Now I have time to add trinkets until then.

As another reader stated this site takes a long long time to ship. I ordered on Nov. 29 and didn’t receive my notepads until Dec. 22. great product but don’t order if you need it fast. Also customer service stinks. had to email them 3 times before i got a response.Keep in mind you are ordering from China
wow – that is a long time. I just ordered 2 cosmetic bags and had hoped to see them by January 5th. I guess that won’t happen 🙁
I ordered mine on Nov. 13th and still haven’t gotten them! I hoping they come today or else the grandmothers will get their Christmas gifts later! I ordered a photo book on Nov. 17th and it finally came 3 days ago! It seems there is a very long delay because our government is inspecting everything coming from Hong Kong – at least that’s what it says on the Artscow web site. The photo book is very nice. I’d order another but it seems you need to order things several months before you need them and I’m not that good of a planner!

This site does take a long time. I ordered on Nov. 11th and still have not received it (and had many Christmas gifts there). Do keep in mind the items come from Hong Kong, so even calling customer service requires you to call during that time zone. Perhaps if you order now you will receive the by Feb. 14th.
I have mixed feeling about Artscow. I ordered 4 orders at the end of November. In Mid-December I sent an email to their customer care address asking why 3 of them had not shipped, and if I could cancel them since they will not arrive by Christmas. I took them 3 days to respond. Mysteriously everything shipped, and I received a snotty email stating if I’m not satisfied I can pay to ship them back to Hong Kong. The products I received in the past were nice, but their customer service sucks.
As others have stated, these are super cute, but they do take about a month to get here!

I showed the last special for these to my 14 year old daughter. She got busy and created them for her best friends. These actually came pretty fast, although some things I’ve made through Artscow have taken a long time to get here. I guess it can all vary on when they get your order and how many other orders they get at the same time. Anyway, my daughter’s bags were a BIG hit with her teen friends. Imagine a group of 14 and 15 year old girls screaming when they open their gifts…
I ordered some cosmetic bags back in November and it showed it shipped November 16th and there’s still no sign of them. I talked to customer service and they said to give it more time, so I’m still waiting for my first batch to come in to see how they turn out before ordering anything else from them. I would definitely pay for the faster shipping if you need them by a certain date.

I have the same problem shipped some of them some of them havent come they said there coming from hong kong and they have to go through customs and that it could take a while next time to get them through fed ex so I can have a tracking number
So disappointing I also ordered some in November along with 5 other products and have seen no sign of them yet…. =( so much for getting them before christmas

As stated previously by others, I ordered in October and haven’t seen my cosmetic bags (when they had the 3/$8 deal). Mine show they shipped. I also sent an email with no response…then another….no response. I wanted these for x-mas because I had bought a bunch of lip glosses, mascara and stuff to fill them for our moms and SILs. I am quite disappointed that it has taken 8 weeks and still no sign of them.
I had ordered in the past from Artscow and gotten stuff in less than 1 month. I thought I was ahead of the holiday rush, but I guess not.
If I do not receive them by mid-Jan I am going to dispute the charges on my credit card and not order from them again — I am sure there is another site like this out there with great deals too.
well I must say that I ordered 3 bags previously and I did actually like the 2 that I ordered that were the XL size for the quality but i ordered a small and i threw it in the trash… you cant even see the people in the picture the quality is so bad!!! I was shocked that someone would have approved to actually ship that to me. So i dont think i could order from them again.
I too ordered these in November and have not seen then yet. I also thought I would make calendars, a tradition for us, thru Artscow. Only to find that after spending 3+ hours fighting with their program that shipping for the calendars was $15 each!! And I am still waiting for those. I think this site is a scam and I won’t use them again.

I just gave one of these to a friend today for Christmas and she loved it! After she got home and was showing her family they asked her to call me to find out where it came from because they all wanted one. I’ll have to pass on this deal to them all!
I did a huge order Nov 20th because of the cosmetic bag deal, also bought a few other things. Have only received the three calendars I made and they are FILLED with errors. There are at least 10 months with blank white backgrounds with “empty” typed across them, and I double checked my design, and I had designed it right. I’m not able to give any of them as gifts because they look so bad. I’ve emailed customer service twice already and still haven’t heard anything. My bags didn’t even show as shipped til 2 days ago, so I had to make IOUs for Christmas gifts (hoping they turn out decent). I had been so excited about artscow, but I don’t think I could ever order from them again.
Not a good idea if you need these for a specific reason. I ordered mine on Nov 12 and still have not recieved them. The worse part is that they were Christmas presents.
I also ordered these the last time that Collin posted this deal. I still have not received them and that was over a month ago. Which really stinks as they were intended as Christmas presents. I also ordered two of the dog tags. After that order I checked the status and it said my payment failed, but on my bank account it shows that it was taken out of the account. I have e-mailed customer service and am still awaiting a response. I am not impressed about this company at this point. I am glad to see comments that these orders were actually received as I was beginning to get worried that this was not a legit company. Not sure if I will actually order from them again…
I also ordered the cosmetic bags last time the deal was posted. I wish I would have checked out their facebook page or researched a little more. There are a ton of complaints there. The payment was taken out of my acct on 11/18 and I still don’t have my order. I have emailed three times and have received two responses, which is more than most have received. Customer service says my order was shipped 11/30. I am still optimistic from reading the reviews here that the product will be decent when it comes, but overall I don’t feel that the deal is worth waiting over 6 weeks for (and possibly much more?). It wouldn’t be so bad if I had realized that it would take so long, but like others, I planned this as Christmas presents and have all the goodies to fill the bags and no bags. Now I’m hoping to get them sometime and give them as later gifts– of course that means I have to shop for other things now for Christmas! As others said, maybe they’re worth it if you can wait– a long time!
So sorry that many have had problems with this company. I’ve ordered 4 times in the past 6 months. Three times since Oct. 5th and received everything in time for Christmas. I have been very pleased with their products:12 cosmetic bags in all sizes and 6 of the dog tags. The bags are very durable, and I use them for coupons so are used regularly and holding up well.
I planned for 6 weeks shipping before I needed the gifts and they have always been here in time. I am terrible at planning early but knew up front that if I wanted the product by a certain date to allow a few extra weeks for them to arrive. My last order was in Nov and came in about a month. Every time I have paid with paypal. Don’t know if that makes a difference.
Please note, that there are massive postal issues overseas! I received an email from ArtsCow about their postal problems. I have still not received an order from a month ago I placed at Christmas. I know the holiday is over, but just an FYI.

I placed my order on November 10th and have not received it. I have e-mailed the company several times and I was told my order was on it’s way. The most recent e-mail I received from the company was that if it was not in by Dec 31st they would see if they had any returned mail. These were supposed to be Christmas presents. I order things from China all the time for my business and have never had the problems I have had with Artscow. I have decided to file a claim through Paypal, since Artscows correspondence with me has been very short, uninformative, and at times rude. I have given the items plenty of time to arrive. I will NEVER use this company again and I do not recommend anyone else using it either.

My sister gave me one for christmas and I just ordered 2 more for myself. It was the best gift ever! I also got a TON of free stuff when I signed up. Well over $300 of free stuff but I pay shipping. I am worried it was a mistake to give me that much free stuff. Until I know otherwise every one I know will be getting artscow stuff all year.
Just received my make-up bags and they are sooo cute. I bought 14 bags for only $30 and I received them 2-3 weeks after I ordered them. I already gave two as birthday gifts and they love them!
