Buy One Get one FREE Deals

* IMPORTANT NOTE: This is Collin who edited the post and made mistakes by listing the buy one get one free deals “buy 1 at $4.99 get 1 FREE”  since Publix rings up bogo deals 1/2 off each item instead of one item being free. I have updated the post to reflect this.

* ANOTHER UPDATE: Please keep in mind that if you live in Florida, you do have to buy 2 items in a BOGO sale.

So happy to see Publix deals up!!!
    Thanks sooo much!

    • Kyra Kilian

Me too! OMG! I so need this in my life! God Bless You~~~!!!!

  2. Niccole

It feels a little weird to see this match ups reflecting coupons being doubled… not all of us have the luxury of coupon doubling in or regions. Non of the match-ups posted by Collin every week shows coupon doubling unless is a special promotion going on Nationally (for Exp. K-Mart a few months ago). Besides that a great job and thanks so much for taking the time to do this!

    • saveandbesavvy

Nicole, I will keep that in mind next week 🙂 I will put it as $.50 ($1.00 if you store doubles)

      • Niccole

Thanks!!! that will be nice is just a little confusing for me…

        • Amy

my Publix dose not double eather. It dose get confusing. But thank you so much this is great!

          • Miriam

Thank you for the match-ups!! I’m also really glad that you won’t be showing doubling going forward.

  3. Subby

There is a $2 publix coupon that was in the store for the Cheerios. So free plus .50 overage if you have it.

    • Cindy Wagner

As mentioned above the sizes do not match for Cheerio’s. So it is not free and there is no overage unless you are not using the coupon as intended.

      • Subby

I just came on to clarify that the size doesn’t match. Sorry about that. I should have looked at the public coupon before enteering this post. still a good deal.

    • Gil

There is a Publix store Q for $1. off Cherrios or Multi-Grain Cherrios LU#6933, good until Feb 15th.
Pair that with your assorted $1 man IP’s and you’ve got a deal.

  4. saveandbesavvy

Ok, so I went into Publix this morning, heres some of the things I found out:

Kerns BOGO is only in Publix stores that carry that size. Most stores only carry the 4 or 6 pack and not the 46 oz.

There was a HUGE green sign on the window stating We accept coupons from these competitors; Ingles, Kroger, Target so you get the savings without giving up Publix service, quality and selection. (have you seen a sign like this on your Publix window?)

In my publix clearance section I found Frizz eaze, selson blue, quaker chewy bars, Pantene, glade plug in-s and oil refills, uncle bens rice, nexxus, shick razors, suave shampoo. Will get pics up in a bit! There are some coupons for many of the items I saw on clearence, will compile a list in a bit.

There was a BIG http://www.bestmealsathome.com end cap with coupons and Running out? run in. end cap with coupons.

Krave and Kelloggs Crunchy Nut cereal were BOGO 3.99

Krusteaz which is buy one get one has a $1.00/2 peelie on the crumb cake, which would make it $1.79 for two, not too shabby!

The hallmark promotion is still going on and I found the tear pads in the hallmark section. The tear pad states: Free expressions from Hallmark item when you buy andy Expressions from Hallmark item (limit one per customer) (expires 2/20/12)

I also found a HUGE stand in the pharmacy area with Soft soap priced $1.69 with a $.50/1 peelie. If your store doubles that would make each one $.69 cents, pretty good price.

There were also peelies on speed stick, colgate toothpaste, and softsoap refills.

There was also a book titled “find yourself in good health” in the front entrance next to the green/yellow fliers. Its got coupons for Tyson, birds eye, buddig, kashi, starkist, cheerios, hillshire farm, and slim fast!

  5. Hip Helper Holly

Ok guys. I emailed Publix yesterday and asked them 2 things.

    1. Which stores double

    2. is there a rhyme to the store ads so it is easier for me to make accurate match-ups.

    This was their response.

Thank you for your email. We appreciate our customers taking the time to contact us. In regards to your ad inquiry, your comments were forwarded for review.

Thank you for taking the time to contact our corporate office with your question about our double coupon policy.

As a competitive response to other supermarkets, we do have a double coupon program in our Atlanta Division stores, which includes the state of Tennessee, the northern portions of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. However, at the present time we do not have any plans to expand double coupons beyond that market.

The funds we have for promotional activity are budgeted on an annual basis. If we choose to put those into one effort, e.g. double coupons, others will need to change. Double couponing is very expensive to support, as we are not reimbursed for the amount that is doubled. Although many of our customers use coupons, this type of promotion actually doesn’t touch the majority of our customers. We feel that the advertising budget for our stores in other divisions is better used for our sale ads and other types of promotions.

We sincerely thank you for shopping at Publix. We know you have a choice when it comes to selecting a supermarket, and we appreciate your having chosen Publix. I hope you will continue to find shopping at Publix a pleasure.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. If we can be of any further assistance regarding this matter, please either call our Consumer Relations toll-free number at 1-800-242-1227, write us at the Publix Super Markets Corporate Office, PO Box 407, Lakeland, FL 33802, ATTN: Consumer Relations, or contact us at our website

Hope this helps the people that had coupon doubling questions. Stay tuned for their response about ads!

  6. Steph

Some stores are true BOGO stores, such as mine in Pace, FL. You buy one at full price and you get one free. If you only buy one, you still pay full price. As you probably know by now, my store doesn’t double coupons either. I think you are doing an awesome job. Just wanted to inform you, since this is something new for H2S. I am so excited at they way you all are expanding the site! Thanks for everything you all do. It saves us savvy shoppers a ton of time and money.

  7. Amy

Publix can be so confusing! Specialy for the couponers just starting out. My Publix is in southern Alabama in Gulphshores. My publix dose not double coupons and it is a store that on B1G1 splits the coust so you dont have to buy both. But the manager agrees to honner B1G1 coupons as if it was true BOGO. So we will get both for free. My advice is to talk to the manager be nice and keep updated on your stores coupon policey personaly. Every time I shop at Publix I stop at costomer service see if their is any coupons behind the counter say hi! and ask has anything changed in the stores local coupon policy. You would be suprized what diffrences from store to store coupon policies meen for your wallet. But all folowing the regions coupon pollicy. Every store is different!

  8. Mag

Sign up for their baby club, etc.. and you will get nice coupons in a mail every couple of months (or so)! Love them, ie. $1.00 off any deli item, $1.00 off any diary item, $1.00 off any fresh market item, buy one get one disinfecting Publix wipes, free animal crackers…the list goes on. I love Publix and wish all the best to Holly and her new adventure.

    • Steph

So true! You can sign up for all their clubs. I have found a lot of coupons in their Food and Family Magazine. Sign up online and the magazines show up in your mailbox. The only one so far I haven’t received coupons in was the Publix Wine magazine.

      • Hip helper Holly

If you look at the publix store guide I have listed sign up links for each club 🙂

        • Steph

          Awesome! You guys rock!

  9. jaime

OK–first off, every publix store is different based on their location as to which store accepts what competitor coupons. I work at publix…trust me.
My store in Miami accepts winn dixie, sedanos and presidente. The store two miles from us accepts sedanos, and target. It is all based on the location of the store, and what the nearest competition is.
Just because one store accepts certain competitor coupons does NOT mean another will.
Also, the publix in Florida does NOT double. Publix is most popular out of all the states that they are in, in Florida. Everyone in Florida knows Publix. Therefore, i think its a little silly to put in double matchups, because we dont have it here.
Also in FL, you cannot just buy one bogo item and get it half off. That is confusing everyone. In florida, its bogo, and you dont have the option of buying just one to get it half off.
