I was excited to notice this- went to the store today specifically for milk, but then saw that the ibotta offer was gone. Oh well, I needed milk anyway…only to open my app later this afternoon and there it was! And I was ready for it 🙂
I love this offer! Sure hope they keep it comin’.

Love these milk deals. Between this and the Post cereal deal for milk that expired a few weeks ago, I haven’t paid full price for milk in weeks. Thanks!

I am new to this App. Still trying to figure it out. Could someone please tell me… do I need to just scan the item, or do I also have to submit a receipt? Thanks!

    • dropofrain

you’ll need to submit a receipt as well

    • Cinthia

You scan the item first to verify it and then take a picture of your receipt. If its too long you can take additional pics.

For anyone still on the fence about Ibotta, it’s worth it for the milk rebates alone! For a while I wasn’t buying the types of products they offered, but they’ve been offering some great options like Barbara’s cereals and yogurt, so I’ve been regularly getting my milk rebate and the bonus for redeeming an extra two rebates. My cereal has been virtually free for the last month. I’ve gotten .24 Cheerios and moneymaking Special K this week alone. If anyone still needs to sign up, I’d so appreciate it if you’d use my link (organic milk isn’t cheap–even with a rebate! 😉 ):

Ok thanks. I am guessing their is a tab within the app to do the receipt. I need to do some searching. I really wish they would let us access it from our computer, also. I am so much better on a computer! ;-p

No tab per se. You click “redeem” on the toolbar at the bottom of the app. They you will have to select the store where you made the purchase. You will be prompted to select your product from the menu of offers (make sure you’ve completed the activities associated with the offers first) and to “verify” your product (i.e., by scanning the bar code). Once you’ve done that, it will prompt you to upload your receipt (essentially taking a picture of it using their app). It is automated and very easy to use!

In my area a gallon of organic milk costs $7 at the stores ibotta honors so I just get my milk at Trader Joe’s where it runs about $6 for a gallon. The 50 cents rebate just doesn’t go very far when you buy organic milk.

If anyone still needs to sign up for a new ibotta account, please feel free to use my referral link below. Many, many thanks to anyone who does! 🙂

I agree. I get our organic milk at the fresh market. It runs around $4.75-$5 a gallon I believe….cheaper than most other stores so not really worth the $.50 ibotta credit to go elsewhere.
