They’re closing at 1 pm on Friday afternoon? That’s odd.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Woops – typo on my part! Kohl’s opens at 6PM on Thursday, 11/27 and will be offering up over 500 Black Friday deals through Friday, 11/28 at 1PM.

    • alicia

      That’s what I thought.

  2. Dawn

Be careful with the toys “deals”—I assume it’s 50% off their retail price, which is always ridiculously overpriced to begin with!

    • Tara

Right! You can get that step 2 shopping cart cheaper mow about 13 dollars instead of 19.99. From what I remember they don’t do % off coupons that week so deals aren’t fantastic

      • cbeths

There will be a 15% off to use on black friday/thursday.

  3. Makeawish

Do they release any additional coupon codes? Like dollar off or 30% off with kohls charge ?TIA

    • Dillinger0716

Yes, every year they release a 15%-20% off coupon to use on top of the deals. In addition you get $15 for every $50 Kohls cash. Some deals end up really great this way.

    • Emily

Last year I had 30% off with my Kohl’s Charge, triple rewards points, $15 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent. I feel like I made out like a bandit! And their online sale starts early in the week (Tues or Wed,) so they had some stuff in the mail before we even had time to eat the Turkey!

      • kristina

Do you know if you are able to spend the kohls cash earned, before Christmas?

        • Tricia

Yes you can redeem it Dec 1-8th.

      • Christy

Right!? I always do so well at kohls. Was bummed to only get a 15% off q in the mail. Hopefully a better one comes before friday!

  4. Laura

Can you use coupons on top of the deals?

    • trina

Yes…they usually have 15 or 20% off. I have never seen a 30% off on black friday though. But pair that with kohls cash and the new yes to you rewards (my area JUST hot it!), you will get fabulous deals!

  5. Busy Mama

The last several years they have been offering $15 Kohl’s Cash with each $50 purchase.

  6. Miriam

Are these deals also going to be online?

    • Happymama

I’d like to know that too?

      • Lindsay

Last year I found that all the Kohls Black Friday deals I wanted were online too.

        • janag09

same here – last year I remember the black Friday prices went live on the website Wednesday evening. Everything that was on my list I was able to get online, the only issues was the bedding started selling out fairly quickly.

        • Jenn

I was also able to get many of their deals online.

          • Dillinger0716

Yes most are online also and start earlier than the store deals start. The exceptions are listed in the ad, they say in store only on a few of the deals.

  7. katie

i’m also curious about whether they’ll be online.

  8. Aryanna

That’s an awesome deal on boots. Can’t wait to buy them for my daughter. Will they have the same offer online, Collin?

    • jan

Last year i got a $10 off coupon for Black Friday in the mail plus 20% off…the boots were about $8 on Black Friday! Love those boots, too!

      • Jana

        That’s wonderful deal .

  9. Tay

    Desperately need boots

  10. Dawn

Question: I’ve heard tomorrow kohls 30% off with free shipping starts, so I could use the veterans day promo too? But my card is at -2 with no way to fix that by this week—is I use a merchandisd credit and yes 2 you rewards to get my amount down to $0, will the 30% and free shipping still apply, even if I don’t have to “charge” any amount but am logged in via my account???

    • Emily

I’ve been able to use the 30% off when I was logged into my account but paying with a merchandise gift card, so I assume you will have no problems.

      • Dawn

Thank you! I hope so 🙂

  11. Cristine

Last year everything was online as well (so it was great!!!). My Capitalone credit card just send me a special 15% off in store or online good November 25-30. Since Kohls normally does not offer any extra % off, and therefore there is no incentive to use my Kohl’s charge (kohls cash is earned no matter how you pay), I think that will be a good deal. If you have a CapitalOne card, worth checking with them.

  12. Emily

Anyone know when the fit bit rebate starts?

  13. Leslie

I just got an email from Target about their Black Friday ad. Shows the whole ad scan, some sales good today only for in-store pickup, check your emails!

  14. sarah

The last few years they have offered a $10 off $10 coupon good only in store if I recall. Last year, I ordered some things online and they had major issues with their shipping due to the weather so they gave all customers who were affected a $20 coupon. We did have some items that we needed for Christmas that just barely made it here in time, but I thought Kohls was very generous to give that kind of discount!

    • katie

Ours didn’t come until after Christmas and we didn’t get the credit. Even though the guaranteed date was December 18th 🙁 It was Barbie toys and a blanket.

  15. Diana

I’ve noticed this year’s Kohl’s BF ad had ‘ *some discounts may not apply ‘ on many of the items, and some are stated in-store only… So we’ll have to see what kind of deals we can actually get then…

    keeping my fingers crossed…

    • cbeths

I think over this year they have added some “prestige” brands which do not apply to any of their coupons. There is a list on their website of brands that do not apply. So, now they have to post this disclaimer…where as before they carried these brands, they could advertise “no exclusions.” I’m just making an assumption that these will be the same exclusions.

  16. Tien

I hope the Xbox and 3ds XL are on sale on their Kohls website.

  17. cbeths

Was there a free shipping code last year? I can’t remember. I’d like to take advantage of some of the online sales, but I’m not sure after coupons and kohls cash if I will reach the $75 to get free shipping.

  18. Erica

Okay call me crazy but I have NEVER shopped online for lack Friday deals. Only in the store and was wondering how Kohls distributes Kohl’s Cash when a large purchase is made online? Ty in advance.

    • cbeths

You get the kohls cash emailed to you within a few hours…just like they do now. Its all bundled together as one coupon, but you dont have to use it all at one time. It will keep the balance until the kohls cash is expired (which for kohls cash received on black friday it will be valid dec 1-8)

  19. cbeths

I’m hoping the ALL TOYS really means ALL toys, I’m looking at a Little Tikes BBQ kitchen, regular $89.99. I don’t see any exclusions on price, I’m just hoping this is a “toy” and not categorized as something different. Any ideas? Its only online, but the ALL toys advertisement doesn’t say “online only.”

  20. aud085@yahoo.com

will there be any rebate deals like the last few years?

  21. Erin

Don’t forget to go through Ebates when shopping at Kohl’s they have 9% cash back right now.

  22. Megan

Does anyone know how to handle when you’re buying something that’s an exclusion item (i.e. fitbit) plus other merchandise and want to use a discount code/coupons? Can you purchase it all together or are you forced to take out that one item and purchase separately>

    • Amy

You do not need to make a separate transaction.. But you are not allowed to use % off discounts on the Fitbit and certain other products, it says that on the coupon itself, it will just not take the discount off that particular item. No worries about having to do multiple transactions. It will only discount certain items that you have. Enjoy your shopping!

      • Megan

Thanks Amy! Good luck with your shopping as well!

  23. Brandy

Did they triple reward points this year? I logged in and all I was able to see was the 400 points which should be 1200..
