I’ve sent these before. They are delicious and awesome. Love making someone’s day.

  2. Steph

Is this actually a deal? I thought these were always $5? $5 for 1 cookie doesn’t seem like a good deal at all. Is this an ad or something?

    • Chelsey

They usually also come with a $5 promo card!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Steph,

It’s not an ad. 😉 I like to promote this deal occasionally for readers who are looking to send someone a little treat that may live far away. When you think of how expensive greeting cards are these days and then the cost of mailing items etc… well, it makes me think that this is a pretty nice deal and an easy one… oh and let’s not forget – a yummy one too!

I’ve brightened many family members’ days sending these out. 🙂

    • Angela

Steph, you are right. They are always this price. I have sent them before and it is always $5 shipped.

      • Erica

Yes $5 shipped and the $5 so called gift card has tons of exclusions. Did this deal on Valentine’s day and was less than impressed lol

  3. Becca

How big are these cookies? For $5 I hope they’re a good size

    • Amy

They are about the size of the typical iced cookie you buy in the grocery store…bout the same everything really. I got 2 for some friends who gave me a sleep number bed…lol…what a trade, eh? But, they thought it was incredibly sweet. Maybe about 2 1/2 in. in diameter, but I’m not good with estimates.

You could easily just make or buy some at the store and design a take and toss container with a sweet sentiment if you didn’t want to pay the $5.

  4. Jean

I sent these to a few friends when they were having a special through Paypal (thanks to Colin, I checked my paypal account to get the deal). I can’t tell you how happy the recipients were. Even thought $5 is the regular price, my experience would move me to order them again.

    • Jean

And really with the deal above, it’s comes out to only $2.50 per cookie.

      • Greta

Am I’m missing something, it’s a $5.00 cookie, how did you get it for $2.50?

        • J

You spend $5 and get a $5 voucher making the next one free. So it is like $2.50 each or bogo.

          • Tyler

You cant use the promo card kn ankther $5 cookie card

    • Kayla

Same here! I sent one to my mom, sister, and aunt. They all received them the same day and each one of them called to thank me. They also gave me the $5 vouchers and it looks like it’s just a coupon code. I hope it’s not limited to one per user. Either way, these little cookies are a fun way to brighten someone’s day.

  5. Jamie

    They aren’t very big.

    • Angela

I wonder that. I have sent them before but since I have never received one, I don’t know the size or taste. I wonder every time I order, though!!!!

  6. JoAnn H

It sounds expensive but I guess when you consider how much a card costs, $3 (or more) plus a stamp its doesn’t seem that bad, plus it’s a lot more fun that just a card

  7. Cristen

I don’t care how small the cookie is. I’d be so happy to get this in the mail instead of all the junk and bills I normally get. 🙂

    • Sandra

Me too! Right there with you! I’m so tired of all bills in the mail! I love to get snail mail from people but it seems like everyone these days uses email 🙁

  8. m

I love these! I sent one to my aunt when she broke her knee, she was very happy with it. Halmark is expensive and atleast she got a cookie with this.

  9. Linds'

Love this! Totally agree with the cost of cards, postage and time, this is a unique surprise. Thanks for posting. First time I’ve seen this.

  10. J

Are these packaged well? I would hate to send a broken cookie.

    • Jennifer

I send one every once in awhile to my son (he’s five and LOVES mail), and we’ve never received a broken one! Yummy too! I may be guilty of sneaking a bite here and there… 😉

  11. Julie

I have tasted Cheryl’s cookies before and they are DELICIOUS! Even though they are not giant cookies, they feel like a decadent treat.

  12. tiffaroonie

Go through ebates for 5% back. It’s a sweet thing to send someone! What a great idea for a thank you card, or for someone who is ill. Thank You Colin for posting this. I would’ve never known about this otherwise. I sent cookies to a friend who just broke their arm today.

    • Valerie P.

go thru shopathome and it is 6%, Plus they have the 110% guarantee so you could price match topcashback’s 10%

  13. Laura

We tried these the last time PayPal had an offer. So they were free. Thank goodness. My son thought they were nasty and he’s a little foodie. The $5 voucher that comes with it is a coupon code only good on certain products. I would never order them again.

    • Erica

      I agree!

  14. Rebecca

What the cookies don’t have in size, they make up for in taste! Sometimes I even send myself some (the special they run occasionally is 6 holiday cookies for $9.99) as a special treat! As Collin said, if you send one as a thank you note, it ends up being extra special (a thank you note on steroids). Just my humble opinion.

  15. Katrina

The coffee ones look like breasts to me. Lol

    • Lisa

You gave me a little chuckle

  16. dealzgurl

I think it’s more the thought behind it that counts…that you thought enough of someone to send them something.

  17. Jackie

I love this idea – I would end up spending about $3-$4 on a card anyway, so why not include a cute cookie? I’ll be doing these for some birthdays coming up. Thanks, Colin!

  18. Creolegyrl

Thanks Collin. I love to send these to my daughter in college.

  19. Bekah

I send these to my 15 year old niece who lives across the country a couple times a year, just so she knows I’m thinking of her. Thanks for the reminder to send one again.

  20. Pat

The problem I had was that I never could find anything to use the gift card on. Everything I tried to order said it was ineligible for that offer. Never did use the giftcards.

  21. Lisa

What a neat idea. Thank you for sharing.

  22. Cassandra

I love this idea. $5 is nothing to brighten someone’s day….plus, my little sister’s birthday is coming up and she won’t expect this in the mail!

    • Cassandra

I’m confused though, does the voucher come in the greeting card? So the recipient gets the $5 voucher?

  23. kellybelly0513

Kids love getting these in the mail. My family all loves the frosted cookies, they are delicious!

  24. Amber

I’ve looked at these before, but haven’t sent one. Seems reasonable though considering the price of a card and stamp. I’ve sent a Popcorn Factory $5 card with fancy popcorn and the recipient loved it. It’s the thought that counts 🙂

  25. Sarah

Thanks a lot! I had a friend lose her grandpa recently and a friend with a bday next week. I’m excited for them to get these! I think it’s a great idea especially when someone is really stressed or sad. Anything to make you smile can help 🙂

  26. SJ

I ordered this one time and they totally messed it up. My brother has brain cancer and I have sent him one card a week. I thought this would be a cool different card for one week. It prompted me to enter when I wanted it delivered and I did. A few days later (several days before the delivery date I chose) I got a notice it was going to ship. I called immediately and told them no, I needed it sent the following week the date indicated when I ordered & why it was not to arrive early. Woman told me, DON’T WORRY, it won’t get there until next week. WRONG, it got there the end of the week. This wasn’t rocket science, couldn’t get something simple correct. Totally disappointed.

  27. JAG

I send these cookie cards all the time… the enjoyment it brings to the receipients totally outweighs any of the possible negatives I’m reading… the quality/flavor/taste is NOT in a cookie you will buy at a grocery store.
