    Anyone use this?

    • Kris

Saw this on The Chew! They thought it was a great tool!

I have one, just was using it this evening as a matter of fact. It takes a second to figure out how to use it properly but once you do, I love mine. My hands hurt usually after cutting through the rind repeatedly and with this it’s just on cut with a knife and the rest is so easy

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the feedback Holly! Good to know!

I have one and the learning curve was too steep for me ha. I haven’t seen the infomercial for it though so maybe I’ll be able to use it with some YouTube help.

  4. thanks!

Oh. My. Gosh. YES PLEASE! And thank you! I’ve been waiting for a deal on a watermelon tool for a year! Can never have too many kitchen gadgets. πŸ™‚

The box that I just took to Goodwill says otherwise! We moved and I was like, I own how many wisks???

      • thanks!

Haha! Awesome! I can never have too many fruit helpers like mango peelers, Apple slicers, pineapple corers, etc. This will be a very nice addition. πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

I have one too. Took a minute to figure out but the wire cutter part is very handy for cutting close to the rind. Love mine!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the review Lauren!

Hate to say this but I got one a week ago and it was horrible… Super disappointed I had to send it back. I was so excited to try it but cutting the old fashion way is faster and easier plus you get all of the melon

    • Crystal

Hey, Brady. Was it this exact brand?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer πŸ™ Sorry to hear it did not work well for you! Thanks for the honest feedback!

      Darn!

  9. Lynn

Code has expired. So sad cuz that was a good price.

ooh no you dont need another tool for this… I am sure there is a lot of fruit wasted at the bottom where the tool cannot reach. Lots of ways to cut watermelon fast and easy just search on pinterest. will pass on this one….

I bought one two weeks ago and it was too hard to use, made a big mess, and hurt my hand. Back to Amazon it went.

I LOVE my watermelon slicer, but would highly recommend getting one with the rubber handle. after doing a little research before I got mine I realized that was the main difference between the cheap models and the ones that really work well.

  13. Paige

I ordered one of these and used it, but it made my hand hurt and didn’t reach all of the watermelon. I only ended up using it once. Looks like some people love it though. If it didn’t cost to ship, I would definitely send mine to someone who wants it. It’s just sitting in my drawer now πŸ˜•
