Be careful with Walgreen’s “sales.” Last time they ran this deal, I ordered 9 boxes of gallon bags, 9 boxes of quart bags (these are small boxes …), and a couple of other items to hit the $20 threshold for a special rewards offer. When I went to pick up my order, the store manager brought it to my car and lit into me about how there were purchase limits when they had these special sales and it wasn’t fair for one shopper to “clear the shelves.” She said that my order “shouldn’t have been filled,” but that one of her employees filled it without her knowledge/consent and that after it was marked as fulfilled she had “no recourse but to give it to me.”
I was flabbergasted. For starters, a $20 order of ANYTHING shouldn’t “clear the shelves.” Second, there were no product limits mentioned in the ad and no ordering limits on Walgreens.com. … I told her that I had no idea that a one-bag order with $18 of sale items would “clear the shelves,” but that if my business inconvenienced her that much, she was welcome to process a return, and I’d shop elsewhere. At that point, she backtracked a little and said she was just letting me know “for next time.”

Oh my!! I’m sorry for that unpleasant experience. Managers can limit sales. Walgreen’s coupon policy can be found in the online help center. Walgreens.com/help The following is copied and pasted from the coupon policy.
“Walgreen’s reserves the right to limit merchandise sold.”
To my knowledge it is just at the discretion of the Store Manager. I have never seen a specific item limit listed anywhere. Sending my best wishes for a kinder tomorrow.
