There should be three boxes to check “no”. When you get to the first page there’s an option to be entered in the drawing without subscribing. You have to check that box and it will take you to a new page that says:

Would you also like us to send you a risk-free trial issue of Seventeen?
    Yes No

If you like what you see, you’ll get 11 more issues (12 in all) for just $10.00 — that’s 72% less than others pay on the newsstand. If not, return the bill marked “cancel” and keep the first issue with no obligation. You’ll still be eligible to win the sweepstakes.
    additional information:
Would you like to receive special offers and discounts by email from Seventeen?
    Yes No

Would you like to receive special offers and discounts by email on behalf of specially selected 3rd parties?
    Yes No

If you don’t have a page that has three “NO” options then you are signing up for the magazine (even if you checked no to the being signed up to special offers from seventeen and 3rd parties does NOT mean that you’re not signing up for the mag). Hope that helps folks who haven’t signed up yet. It is a little tricky if you ask me. Especially for a magazine marketed to teens.
