Yep, sure enough…I called them and my order went from $9.99 to $37.99. No call, no email, nothing. Gerks. Canceling an order and tacking on unauthorized funds is two very different things.

I understand people make mistakes and many companies can not sustain that sort of loss, but what they are doing seems quite unethical. I am glad I called and did not give them the benefit of the doubt.

  2. couponluver

they wont cancel my order either…i did take screen prints of my order status so that I can fight it if they do try to increase my charges. What amazes me is the Customer Service people acting as if I did something wrong because it was only 20 off 50, not 50 off 50…i am sorry, how was i suppose to know it was not as it came up on the computer. I am sure they would be livid if it happened to them as well.

  3. Erica

Wow! All of these conflicting stories are crazy! I understand that they are probably a larger company with lots of cs agents but you would think they would want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I’m debating on calling to cancel or just waiting it out to see what happens. I placed two orders because I really wanted to get my mom and grandma some great stuff. My first order was right at noon Mountain time and the other was at 12:30 (when I recieved the e-mails at least).

They both show that they are being processed for shipping right now and from what it sounds like, I might not even be able to cancel at this point even if I wanted to…

Lucky for me I have a husband in law school and I’m sure we’ll figure out how to get out of any problems if there are any.

    • nicole

Oh good keep us posted on tips than, I called and they won’t let me cancel I placed my order around 2:30 pm so hopefully this gets straight, u should ask your husband if they can legally send you a bill after the fact or charge you after the fact, even though I called they said they weren’t going to and couldn’t cancel my order or so they say????

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When I called around 4pm —- he “said” he canceled both of my orders. We shall see!

      • Erica

When my husband got home from school I was talking to him about everything and he confirmed what I already knew. It is against the law for a company to charge your card for a larger amount than what you originally authorized. So, if you notice before you get your package that your card was charged extra, this is a serious problem!

For now we are just waiting to see what happens. If we do get charged more, we will fight it for sure. My husband kind of felt like we should just wait and see what happens before we get too into researching things. It’s better to not waste time trying to figure out how to fight something if you never have to fight it right? : )

I was reading a few other comments and something someone mentioned totally crossed my mind earlier today. It would be interesting if they started all of the talk about people being charged more so that people would cancel their orders themselves…just a thought.

        • Lisa Dawson

I thought the same thing. Maybe it was started so people would just cancel their orders.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I agree – this is the internet and none of the crazy comments are coming from regular posters so take those comments with a grain of salt. Colin has had posters trying to make trouble in the past so that’s what I think of when outrageous things start getting posted.
It is illegal for a company to charge more than what was agreed upon – we all know this. If orders get cancelled then so be it no one will be hurt – we all took this chance when we ordered. One Stop Plus did a promotion of $20 off $20 promotion before (same company) and there wasn’t a big fiasco, Torrid has done a $20 off $20 promotion and etc. etc. companies offer incentives like these all of the time – if we’re lucky enough to get in on the promotion then we can count ourselves lucky, if not then it’s no big deal because another promotion will be around the corner.

  4. Nicole

Well my email confirmation and their website still says my total with the $50 off. I also checked my bank account and I was only charged the $9.08. Here’s to hoping my deal goes through!

  5. Angela

I just called them my first order, the one I tried to modify the sizes on is still shipping for 9.99 only. The rep said no further charges. The second one I placed with the correct sizes was changed to $30 more. I cancelled it. She said I can’t cancel the first one and assured me no further billing would happen on that one. Although, that order was placed at like 1:30.

  6. Nicole85

The amount I agreed to seems to be the only thing charged to my card. The confirmations says the amount I agreed to also. I ordered around 2:10, which seems to be pretty early. I saw this right before i went into work, right about when it got posted up here, and just got back to read these comments. Here’s to hoping they honor it.

  7. Nicole

I just talk to Customer Service and he said that they are going to charge people the extra money!
I was able to cancel my order cause it had not been pulled.

    • Rose

I called too and was reassured my order was charged as is, no additional charges will be added on and will not be billed for the difference (she said they “absolutely” can’t do that)
I told her there are many conflicting reports and she said she doesn’t know why some CS Reps are telling people they would be billed for the difference, it was their error and will be honoring orders placed before they caught the glitch. (I am not sure on the time, I think she said sometime between 3-4 EST)
I still don’t feel quite right with her reassurance, esp since there are so many are saying they will be charged the difference. I couldn’t cancel my order either as it was already pulled, even though I told her it still said Not Processed on the site.

    • momwhocares

If I am charged anything more than when I processed on the order I know all I have to do is do a dispute on any charges they may add to my bank account. My bank will refund my charges immidiatly while an investigation is processed. Then the company has to show proof I agreed to the additional charges, if they cannot – then I keep my refund.

I also have an emailed reciept showing what I agreed to and also my current standings in my order status still show the lesser amount. So, I am not to worried

  8. Laura

Wow – they really do need to get on the same page with the answers. I called twice tonight – the first lady told me no they would not be changing the amounts and yes what I got in my email as correct. I decided to try to call back and just cancel the order and the first guy I spoke to said I only had 20 off 50 and they couldn’t cancel the order – I asked to talk to a higher up and he transferred me to a customer service rep (thought that was who I called in the first place!) and he told me the code had been wrong but they are going to honor the 50 off 50. I can’t cancel my order since it’s in the process of getting ready to ship – and he couldn’t send me an email to show what he told me – but that he was making a note on my account in case there was a problem – but assured me there wouldn’t be. Don’t think I’ll go for those high dollar value coupon codes anymore!

But thanks Collin for all your hard work to get us the best deals!

  9. Rei

Well, I called CS and my order is being shipped and he told me the charge is $1.41…he also confirmed that I won’t be charged an extra amount. So, I guess we’ll see what the outcome will be.

  10. Leslee

They CAN’T charge more to your card than the preauthorized amount in your email confirmation. It is a binding contract that can’t be broken unless you consent or they cancel the order, per agreement when placing the order.

Please don’t cancel your order believing they will charge more to your card. Your bank or credit card company does not allow it. If a mistake or an incorrect billing occurs, the bank forces the seller to fix it.

Your cards haven’t actually been charge, funds just have a hold put on them for up to 72 hours while an order is in process and actually billing does not occur until the time of shipment, even if the hold expires in the meantime.

    • LIsabella

Hmmm… Makes me wonder if they’re having CS tell people they will be charged the difference so they’ll cancel the orders on their own and getting out of having to honor the $50/$50. If the the customer doesn’t bite, they certainly won’t complain when there’s not a paper bill in the package. Still the mark of shady business. They’ll have to get on the same page ASAP if they ever want my business again.

    • laura

I beg to differ. When the company store had this happen, they sure as heck DID charge more to my card than authorized w/o notifying me or anything. I went round and round with them at the time. They REFUSED to alter the charges or cancel my order, so I refused shipment on the package when it arrived.

      • Leslee

With the circumstances, as you describe them, then they broke the law. Please don’t assume because one company does that it’s allowed. It’s not.

    • Delene Yochum

Leslle…I hope your order comes thru..But I myself use a prepaid CC for online orders such as these and yes my credit card was billed before actual shipment. I have to wait now for the charge back..I understand the boo boo’s that happen..I still love my 43 cent chips from Amazon and my 22 cent cocoa from Boca and 3.60 for my FoodSaver..it’s taking the good with the bad..we all decide on our own whether to try it..Thanks Collin for continuing to bring offers to us..I do appreciate all you do for us and the time you devote to this site

      • Leslee

Your card is not actually charged until shipment but a hold can be put on the funds, just as a bank does when you deposit some checks, such as out of state, they put a hold on the funds.
Depending on your bank/credit card company, the hold usually doesn’t last more than about 3 days but it can be longer. There is NOT an actual charge to your card, just the fact that your funds are held in escrow.

Argue away, it’s not my job to hand hold people. What I am telling you is fact, regardless of what company tries to make an end run around it or what anyone feels is happening.

    • Lynsey

As people have specified from previous occurances with this company, they charge ‘paper invoices’ for the balance difference. And they refer to a collection agency if the funds are not recovered.

Shady biz. I would not have even taken advantage of this deal if I would have known their past history.

      • pg

Not to mention, I purchased some accessory items from this company last year when Collin posted a deal from them. When I received my package, the items all contained a hangtag stating that they contained lead. I have young children and I never would’ve ordered things like a bracelet and a tote bag (which my kids will touch, obviously) had I know my children would be exposed to lead. I contacted them and asked them at the very least to put a lead notice on their site for the items and they responded saying they didn’t have to. I also asked them to refund my money and take the items back. They refused, so I disputed the credit card charges and my bank agreed to refund me due to the company’s business practices and their inattention to this safety matter.

$30 worth of stuff ended up in the trash. Not worth the risk to my babies. Lead is a known hazard for children, so if you have kids order accessories from this company at your own risk.

I would never order from this company again in light of my experience.

        • Flipfloppingmamma

so it ended up in the landfill?

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is there a point to your remark, what the heck was she supposed to do with the stuff??? She did not create it.

          • pg

Although I find your tone incredibly rude, I will respond since there are others who might be legitimately concerned about this issue. I contacted my city’s solid waste dept. and that’s what I was told to do with the items. If you’re so concerned, why don’t you give me your address and I’ll send it to you next time??

          • pg

Anon, I appreciate your comment and I wasn’t responding to you. It was flipfloppingmamma my comment was intended for.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

no problem lol…i figured it was for flipflopping whatever lol. I think you did the right thing and thanks for sharing, I will definitely keep my eye on the things from this company

  11. Tonya Caywood

I have ordered from this company on many occasions and have never had any trouble with them. Their products have lived up to the price. I placed an order today and it still shows the $7.99 shipping total and the status is “currently processing to ship”. I hope you all get your items at the price given. It was their mistake and I do hope they stand behind it. Good luck all.

  12. Kathleen

IF they actually include some kind of bill with my items when they arrive at my house I will just be shipping the stuff back. I will call them and tell them that everyone I know will hear about what happend, all my friends, family, neighbors, facebook buddies, and even the mailman will hear about it. I will never shop with them again and I will do my best so spread the word about them not honoring coupon codes and shady billing practices. Of course I will be out the cost of shipping it back and my time. But these are the chances I am willing to take when trying to score some awesome deals. I have gotten lots of great stuff from coupon codes, like the Boca Java deal Collin just posted about that seemed too good to be true and then all the sudden the box arrived… my hot cocoa for .22! So you have to take the good with the bad. Hopefully this come out good and I will get my socks and shirts for 1.99! 🙂

    • Heather

Yes, you can ship it back at a cost of $6.50 to you.

  13. laura

I didn’t see this post earlier, so I didn’t attempt to use the $50/$50 coupon code, but, heck, I’ll take $25/ $50 coupon and free shipping. I ordered boots after all this craziness.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Right now, my order status says: “not yet processed for shipment” I’m wondering if THOSE orders are the ones that they are going to end up charging more on. I still show my original total of $2.27, but I am wondering if it will change. My email confirmation was at 3:10pm EST, so JUST at the border of when they noticed the code had an issue. I really don’t want to cancel if they will put this through, but I don’t want a large charge on my card for what I got either. Also, someone said that the codes couldn’t be used with other codes but when I tried to enter a third, it said a maximum of 2 codes per order, so I thought it would let you do 2.

Can anyone confirm the order status compared to how the charges look? For example, if your order is “ready to ship” does that mean you aren’t being charged? If it is “not yet processed” then you are?

The worst part is the conflicting stories. If they have to cancel, I am fine with that, but they shouldn’t really charge more than the agreed to amount.

    • Kathleen

This is what my order status says right now ” 1.99 10/12/10 Currently Processing to Ship ”
I called earlier tonight and talked to CS and they confirmed that was my order total and I was also told I couldn’t cancel it because it was already in process. I also called Discover card and they told my they saw the authorization from them for 1.99. Hope this helps.

      • Kathleen

I forgot to mention that my email confirmation was at 2:39 pm.

  15. kidsallgone

Decided to use a promo code someone posted that gave 50% off.
Ordered a coat that was $70.00.
Got $35 off and had to pay shipping.
Tried to do more than one promo code, but it wouldn’t work.
    I’m OK with $41.00.
Good luck to those that scored “the big one” earlier today 🙂

  16. the cottage child

I don’t know what everyone is experiencing, there are certainly a lot of conflicting reports. What I hope everyone is doing is asking and writing down the number and name of the rep they speak with, and have printed their original order confirmations.

Even if this is a mistake, and they have a loophole for misprinted coupon codes, they cannot legally charge anyone’s card w/o their consent. If that’s happening, that constitutes theft, fraud, and a host of other criminal legal issues and complaints should be referred to your state’s AG office. It would seem this company has had this issue before, and if a pattern is present, no matter how innocent, there are matters to be addressed on behalf of consumers.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Okay, I just called customer service and cancelled my order, or so I hope. I am not willing to take the risk of my card being charged more. I spoke to “Terry” a guy and was told that the code should have been $20 and that to the best of his knowledge, they were going to be adjusting the totals to reflect the price of the $20 discount instead of the $50. I know that they could not have charged my card more than I agreed to, or at least that I could have disputed it if they did, but I didn’t want to get a bill and have to deal with return shipping etc. I hope that some of you are able to get this deal. I’m pretty bumbed out that it didn’t work for me, or that I caved too soon. I was told that they do not give cancellation confirmations though. But I will watch my bank account to make sure that the charge is removed. What a hassle. Maybe the next deal will work out better.

  18. Jen

My confirmation email says $1.97. The order status still says the same amount on their webpage, however the status is “not yet processed for shipping.” My CC has not been charged anything at all. My confirmation email was at 3:22pm. I was actually on the phone with a customer service rep at the time I placed the order and she verified that the order went through. She never said anything about the code being wrong. I don’t see how they can legally charge more that what the original confirmation email states. I should have just listened to what my grandmother used to tell me “If something sounds too good to be true, then it is”… I really don’t feel like dealing with this headache!

  19. Meirav

Even though I didn’t see any extra charge on my cc, I just called now to cancel. There was no problem to cancel (my order was placed on 3:09 pm), and I peferred to cancel rather than to fight with the company afterwards.
It would have been a sweet deal, if it was correct. I think that the company should have honored it or just cancel orders, not over-charge or send a paper bill later.
I honestly don’t know what is the real answer of what will happen with those orders, and I hope that at least some of you will get to enjoy this deal as it was oroginally posted.
I just didn’t want the hassle.
BUT a big thanks to Collin for helping us find great deals on a daily basis 🙂

  20. Bethany

Take note of what it says under your account in “order details”:

“the order totals shown below don’t reflect any credits or adjustments made to your order during and after processing. this includes merchandise that originally appeared available at the time of order and became unavailable upon processing. your new order total will be reflected on your invoice once the order arrives.”

Did anyone notice this before? I have been putting it off and trying to make up my mind, but I think this now gives me enough incentive to call and cancel my order.

    • Kathleen

No I didn’t notice that but I called 2x and both reps told me I couldn’t cancel my order and I would only be charged 1.99. So I guess we will see.

      • Bethany

Same here. Boy, this is nerve-wracking! I may not get a lot of sleep tonight, but I guess if I get those two pairs of leather gloves (christmas gifts) for $1.98, then it will all be worth it! Oh, the things we couponers go through! 😉

    • Leslee

Your “new” total will only reflect adjustments and credits if an item is unavailable.

If anyone wants to check out the federal laws regarding this matter, you can go to this link:

      https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/15/1666.shtml

      • Bethany

I have not checked out the link you posted yet, but what would happen if one of the items on an order was unavailable, bringing the order total below the $50? Could they then say that the order did not qualify to use the coupon, thus charging you more? Just curious what others think about this!

        • Donna Mc.

Most companies prorate the discount codes across the items, so if you should return any, you don’t get full retail credit back. So of any item becomes unavailable, the rest of the items should ship at the prorated discount amount. At least one would think.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how do you know they charged you more??
like on my order confirmation i have the $9 total..
they cant just charged me a different amount wihtout contacting.. me and if anything is changed from the original order.. i have the right to cancel…
    >>>did they contact you and told you you will be charged more or what??
i dont see why i should call and ask something “i dont even know is happenig”..
    LOL

    • Delene Yochum

When I called the CS rep told me that my order charges had changed to 43.53 even tho still on web site had a different amount..he said the website changes occur slower than the the changes on the CS puters..that’s why I chose to cancel..I don’t want to spend the $43 right now…I love getting the lil deals LOL

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Why worry if I am charged more I will call than.

  23. Janelle

my order is going through or so they say…they promised not to charge my card more than the original amount…we shall see…

  24. megan Carter

placed two orders, between 2 and 3 pm, est. both totals wer e11.74, and spoke to customer service (two different people) and they both said that my 50/50 went through, and that I will not be charged anymore on my card or on a paper bill. we shall see!

  25. Turboturtle_8

I just spoke with Valerie at CS and she said there was a problem with the code but they are honoring it and that the totals will not be adjusted. I will keep my eye on the issue and update if I have any thing new.

  26. geraldine

I just don’t know what to do. It says currently processing to ship, so I guess they would tell me that they cannot cancel it. I just hope that they do not try to charge me more!!! I used a 1 time number thru discover card, so I know that they cannot charge the credit card more, but I will update when I see it posted on my credit card. This is just soooo crazy!! I knew it was too good to be true!

  27. Laura

My orders are processing to ship and still say the same amounts, not sure why all the drama. Thanks Collin another great deal scored!!!!

  28. Natasha

I think I am with other I am going to watch this one like a hawk. We shall see what happens. I doubt they will let me cancel. Perhaps we should suggest to them to have an “Cancel Order” button on their webpage. You know just in case.

  29. Dreya

Ok, it’s now midnite central time. Placed my order at 2:30 central time. I just called and spoke with Victoria at Customer Service. She double checked and my order total of 98 cents will stand. They will NOT charge the card more than the authorized amount and she has never heard of them sending a paper bill with the shipment since the code changed. She said they would NOT do that, either. I’m still watching that card statement, though…

  30. Emily

I ordered fairly early on, and my order status says “contact us…” If you look at the descriptions it says we were unable to process your order. Maybe that means there just canceling them.

  31. Jam

I just called this morning to check my order status and the operator told me they are working on it and confirmed it was for $4.98. I explained that I had used a coupon code and that I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to get charged any more than that and she told me that it will only be $4.98 as that is what it said there. I guess I’ll cross my fingers that this goes through 🙂

  32. Kathy

I tried to order literally right as they changed it – my total went up w/ no additions! They first changed to $25 off $50, then $20 off $50 within minutes!! Didn’t place it.

I did call, internal error, disappointing, but when I’m being rational I know they HAD to fix, my beef is they changed twice? Customer serv also hung up on me! (I was only saying mistakes happen, but changing twice was really going to alienate customers!) I’ve ordered before, but never will again after hang up!

I may get booed, but I do have to say I don’t know how some feel “entitled” to numerous orders. This deal would have been changed anyway, but how do you think this impacts other such offers?? It’s one per customer, the idea is for you to try ordering, not get tons of free stuff! Reasonable judgment is needed or there will be no such deals!

    • Julieanne28

I totally agree! If an offer says one order per person/household then one order is all a person should take advantage of. Don’t abuse deals/coupons or we won’t have them anymore!

  33. Suzanne

I was able to score this deal yesterday, I am able to get new tops for that I would normally not be able to afford. Your postings are greatly appreciated. I scored 7 nice tops and a free t-shirt for $2.25. Thanks.

  34. Jennifer P.

WOW! I’m really glad I checked back! After checking my Status (which said “not processed for shipping”) and reading this, I called and sure enough my total went up to $48 from $12! I canceled my order, I asked for a cancelation code and they said they don’t give those when canceling. I printed out my confirmation page when I placed the order which says the $11 and change total so I have proof luckily. I’m not mad, it’s not Collins fault, the company should have dealt with this better. I wont be shopping there again, if they think they can just charge a different amount then agreed apon then they aren’t a good company, I wouldn’t trust them again. Canceling orders is one thing, but charging more is another. You live and you learn right :0) Oh and my order total on their website stayed the same, but he told me it was NOT what the site was telling me it was.

    • Christa K.

Charging you more than you agree to is actually credit card fraud. I don’t know how they’re doing that to people & getting away with it! Yikes.

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Heres an idea, if a deal is to good to be true then usually it is! Just saying, this is why I dont do any of these deals posted!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s not always the case, so please try not to be rude.

    • anonymous

So why are you on this site for?!

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I kust want to say thank you collin. If it goes through its a blessing, if not it is a fraudulent charge because they cannot charge what you didn’t agree too and my back will take care of it.regardless thank you for all you do

  37. Marzipan

I checked my bank account and I got charged the correct amount – $3 and change. My order status is processing to ship. So don’t cancel your orders, people. Assuming CS reps have any clue what they are talking about is a bit naive. The ones that said they would honor it are right, obviously. As for the rest – I found that 75%of the time when I call CS to verify a store policy, I end up knowing it better than they do. And this is not even a store policy; it’s the law. Having disputed a transaction with my bank, I can assure you that it’s not difficult at all, so it’s always worth waiting and seeing, especially when the merchant is legitimate. I disputed a debit card transaction, but from what I hear, they are even more accommodating with credit cards.

So thank you, Collin, terrific deal!

  38. Shahina

I just checked online and it says mine is waiting to be processed for shipping – amount charged is still $10.98. The thing that worries me is that is ays # of items to ship “2” but I only ordered ONE pair of boots…so not sure about the other item.

    • Karin

Mine is the same. I ordered 3 items including a pair of free gift slippers, but statement says I ordered 6 items. Other 3 were just blank. And my order is not yet processing, so I guess either they cancel them or want me to contact them.

    • jmtreu98

The second item is the shipping…Mine is the same way!

    • Andrea

Mine had an extra item, too. But when I looked at the detailed description, it says that extra item is a coupon.
      HTH 🙂

Thank you guys. My order status was changed to ‘Contact us’ so I just called them and the lady said my order was already cancelled. 🙁

I did this deal, and I’m thinking about just waiting it out. I understand that they made a mistake, and can cancel orders because of it. However, I do not see how they can charge you more for their mistakes. If I got an email saying the order was canceled, oh well… I didn’t have the boots before, so I wouldn’t be too upset about it. If I get charged full price, I will just call my bank and get the charge reversed after showing my order confirmation page. They can’t just legally change your order amount just because they messed up. All they can legally do is cancel it. If so many people maybe wouldn’t have taken advantage of the deal and ordered multiple times, maybe they would allow them to all go through. I think they are going to lose a lot of customers due to this, and get a lot of bad PR. I honestly think they are just telling everyone that the order total is going up to get them to cancel so they won’t lose money. We will see.

That’s what I think, too. I am just keeping an eye on my order status on their website and my credit card. So far nothing has been charged to my card and it says that the order hasn’t been processed for shipment. My total of $4.99 is still the same though. I ordered yesterday around 3:30-4:00 EST

By law they cannot charge you more! If you have your email confirming your order that is all they can legally charge you. However, they have every right to cancel your order. All websites have stipulations for errors.

Keep in mind the coupon value changed probably after an hour after this was posted. The value changed from $50 to $30. There were many exclusions that were in that offer as well. Possibly your items did not fit with the offer.

I was only charged for what I ordered. People you need to read all the details before YOU agree to accept the terms and conditions. Don’t blame others.

Wow this is crazy, I am quite new to all this couponing and freebie stuff, The other night when I was on I seen the HSN 20/20 and was gonna place an order then decided I was too tired and decided to wait til morning when I got up I tried and it said it was expired, needless to say I was quite mad at myself for not placing an order that night, then when I seen this I jumped at it, I thought boy that seems strange they could do that but I thought maybe it was only gonna be good for an hour or so like some kind of promotional thing being I am new to this I did place an order thinking wow that makes up for the whole HSN thing then all this happened and I realize I wasnt so lucky, oh well I figure if It goes through great if not no biggie either as long as I dont get billed extra, lesson learned I guess.

    • Kara

They cancelled my HSN order due to an invalid coupon code it said. I expect the same to happen here but not sure.

      • Natasha

I guess some people didnt get theirs… which sucks. I got my HSN order last week. I’m sorry you didnt get yours.

  42. Shannon Gunning

They canceled mine. The screen for the status said “contact customer support” so I did, and she said it’s canceled, and cannot give me a reason. I demanded a reason for canceling so she said maybe its because the items are out of stock. They arent because I just checked and it still lists them in-stock. They should have just been honest and said it was a mistake. She said my $3.36 should be refunded with-in 5 days.

I made two orders and one just disapeared from the website. I called and talked to someone who acted like I was lying about the prices I was quoting him from my email. That irritated me! I wasn’t mad about the coupon not working (I understand it was a glitch and not their fault) However, I did not like being treated like an idiot. Anyway, I will get one order which was a pair of boots for $15.98 but not the other order. They were going to raise the price from $13 to $38, so I cancelled. I knew two orders was too good to be true but I tried!! I asked him SEVERAL times if I was going to be charged more for the first order and he said no, we’ll see….

  44. Elizabeth Fox

I just contact them this morning and they said my order had been cancelled and nothing was going to be charged to my card. Bummer 🙁

  45. shopfreak

My order was cancelled this morning online. When I called in, they offered me two options: 1) reorder with the new $20 off code and when it ships, call customer service back and they would adjust it down $30 more or 2) Open a Woman Within card and do the same thing, but by the time the bill arrived, the adjustments would have already been made. Since there is so much inconsistency, I passed on both. Would have liked to get my order, but oh well. Thanks for all your hard work Collin!

  46. Chriscia

Just checked on mine online and looks as though it was just cancelled. Wish they would have called or emailed to let me know. Afterall, isnt that why they ask for our phone numbers?

    • Chriscia

They told me that different customers get different promotional codes and this code was not supposed to have been sent to other people…blah blah blah…oh well, nothing lost, nothing gained.

  47. Brittney

My order is now completely gone from the account page, so I guess mine was canceled as well.

    • Kara

I can’t find mine either. I got a confirmation email yesterday and last night checked it and it said processing or something like that. Today I went to check it and it says I don’t have any current orders. So did they cancel it?? Shouldn’t they send you an email if they cancel it? HSN cancelled my order the other week and they emailed me to let me know at least!!

  48. dannysangel

WORST customer service ever.. I called within 5 mins of placing my order to make changes (or cancel) it and was told I couldn’t. I then placed another order with a different bank card and email. I noticed that both bank accounts were charged today so I went to check my order status and the 2nd one showed cancelled. When I called they told me the amount would be credited back to my account within 3 days but the coupon code was NOT a valid code because they realized it had been used on a site like this that they do NOT honor. Needless to say that is the only thing I have ever purchased from them and the only thing I will purchase cause their reps are RUDE!! When my 1st order (the one I wanted cancelled) comes in I will sell it on E-bay or @ a yard sale and hopefully make back what I paid for it.. And if I get luck a little more.

  49. LIsabella

Order Status is “Contact CS” Guess that means I was canceled. Ah well, win some lose some. Wonder if I should even bother calling in?

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My order was canceled as well. I contacted them and they claim that the code that i used was not issued by their website and any order placed after 2pm est was canceled. The women I spoke to were helpful, not rude at all.
