YAY I got one for $5.68! I had a $5 giftcard. I have decided to do the 4 gift Christmas for the kids this year and this one will make the “educational” gift for my 2 yr old. I am guessing I will probably be able to score some of the books cheaply too.

She probably would. These are really geared for very young children. My son got his regular Tag reader at three and loved it. Now he’s almost five, and I’m thinking he’s almost outgrown it.

I missed out on the Target deal last year and missed the Tag Reader special yesterday (I was going to put that one back for a year or two). I’ve been watching for the Tag Jr Reader to be really cheap since last winter. This just made my day! 🙂

Does anyone know if the Tag books work with the Tag Jr or the other way around?
You’re supposed to be able to use the JR book with the regular tag pen but not sure about the other way around.
From the reviews I read on Target’s website, it looks like the Pen will work on both but only the Tag Junior works on Tag Junior books. They said it might be a better investment to buy the pen since it has more books to go with it and it can store more books on the pen also. The JR. only stores up to 6.
