I am soooo stoked I got this! I was totally bummed I missed both deals yesterday on the pen! You can’t use the JR pen with the tag books only the Tag Pen with the JR books. I looked it up yesterday.

Yeah!! Thanks! I got 2 yesterday for my 2 boys and I got one today for my little girl. They are ages 2,3&5. If I get one something I always seem to have to get the other it too. This way they will all have one. Just wish I would have gotten the books cheap at Toys R Us. I went to get them and they were giving me a bad time about my coupons so I just walked out. I should have just picked them up anyways because they were still a good price. Now to try and find some cheap books!! Thanks for the deals!
the leap frog site usually has coupons available… I think it’s usually $4 off 9 or more or something of the sort. worth a quick check!

Dang! I just bought this for my son a couple of weeks ago through amazon with my swag bucks. I got him the Toy Story book and the Tag Junior Pal, all for $14, so that’s still an awesome price, but now wish I would have waited and saved my swag bucks. Oh well. Still an awesome deal!
Someone mentioned getting the books cheap… I found 2 at Walmart on clearance. It was the ABC book and the Disney Cars book, both were $7.00, marked down from $11, but they weren’t marked, so I didn’t notice it until I checked out. I hope leapfrog marks these down cheaper since everything else has been on sale.
My Walmart also has these books in the clearance section.

you can get the ABC book FREE look up Collin’s older posts about Tag Jr books… just have to register your child’s leapfrog toy with the leapfrog site.

Thanks so much for the link! I scored the tag jr for my son this morning and have be kind of bummed b/c I haven’t done any of the book deals! I wasn’t planning on buying the junior I was going to wait and buy the Tag pen when he got a little older. Kmart had some Tag book on clearance (I was there on Saturday) and they have been doing 20%-50% off clearance toys for the past few weeks. I’m going to head over there tomorrow and see what deals I can score!

I didn’t try to get one since my son already has one. I have let him play with it since he has been 15 months old or so. He loves it, he likes to hear the different voices reading the stories and especially the toy story book with their voices. I pretty much have all the books they have with all the deals and coupons over the last several months.
I just received an email from Target canceling this order because the item was priced incorrectly.

Got the same email. was not happy I think they should have honored this, sad part is this is the 1st and last time I will buy anything on-line at Target if they can change prices at will……
Another cancelled order. I am very disappointed. I think they should honor it. Sure it was an error, but I went out and bought 4 books. Are they going to compensate me for my time in getting them and returning them? It would go a long way in the customer service department if they would just say “Hey, we made a mistake, but our loss is your gain. It’s your lucky day.” Instead of a lot of disgruntled customers thinking “Guess I’ll check out Wal*Mart” they’d have a lot of really happy, returning customers.

I got the same email as well….very, very frustrating!! I almost bought books today as gifts to go with them, but forgot my coupons for the books. So glad I didn’t buy those today!! I remember Target doing something like this a few years ago with a Britax car-seat online being mispriced. Guess I’ll be doing more of my shopping at Walmart!!!
I remember that too…I really thought this deal was a good one though. Since the regular tag was priced at $10 the week before I really thought this one stood a chance unlike the britax misprice, that one was way too good to be true.

I got the same message. I think they should honor them. I am disappointed at Target Customer service. They could have compensated us with something. It is an inconvenience not to be getting it. My daughter was looking forward to it and in today world every penny counts.
