Reminder: Lowe's 90% Off Kitchen Aid Mixer 12:01AM EST (1st 100 only)
Just like I promised in my Lowe’s post earlier today, here is a reminder for all you night owls! If you can stay awake until 12:01AM EST, Lowe’s has promised to begin releasing 90% off coupon codes for select items. Lowes has revealed that they are planning to kick off this code craziness with the KitchenAid Stand Mixer at 90% off for 100 fans and 20% off for 900 fans! Soooo, if you are going to attempt to battle it out for one of the 100 90% off codes, here are some tips…
(1) Head over to Lowes.com now
(2) Login or register for an account (this will store your address and allow for a faster online checkout)
(3) Search for the White Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer pictured above (keep in mind that the Lowes site is VERY slow…I was finally able to find the mixer but then unable to add it to my cart which makes me believe that they will not let anyone add it to their cart until 12:01AM?!)
(4) As soon as the clock hits 12:01AM EST, I would begin refreshing the page until you are able to add the mixer to your cart. Then proceed to checkout and add the all important 90% off code (which I am assuming will be posted on the Lowes Facebook Wall)
(5) IMPORTANT: If the promo code quantities have been exhausted by the time you are through the checkout process, the page will indicate that your promo code isn’t valid. Make sure to look for any error messages on the checkout page. If you don’t want the item at that point, you don’t need to proceed with checkout. If you proceed with checkout at that point, you will charged full price for the item.
(6) If you are not fast enough to snag one of the products at 90% off, there are other codes for 20% off that will be posted on the Facebook wall when the 90% off coupons run out.

FYI: It’s a special page at https://www.lowes.com/facebookpromo so the regular shopping cart and item probably won’t work.
So Basically you have to purchase the item and see if you were one of the first 100 people. If not you can later cancel your transaction.

I created an account with Lowes earlier today, had the item in my cart ready to go, and my credit card number on a word doc. so that I could just click, copy & paste. We have high speed digital cable…which definitely was the trick I think. I didn’t expect it to work for me at all, but it did and now I’m heading to the store with my confirmation email in hand! 🙂

Oh my gosh I think I got it … at least I got an email confirmation that I did, but I never did get to the final confirmation page on lowes.com – it came up site maintenance. Anyone else have this happen?
That happened to me too… I’m assuming since I got an order confirmation that says to bring that into the store to pick up my item and that my card was charged, I got it… Hoping so anyway!!

Wow! That was a big bummer. The site locked as soon as I put in my code and when I refreshed it came up under constructions. I should know better then try for these things. Especially when over 90,000 are frothing at the bit…LOL! I’ll stick to the deals we can all get with out grumpiness and adrenaline remorse… 🙂

Facebook said The coupon code is applied to your sale when it is finalized, not when you type in the code at 11:01 p CST.
THEN Just like Jimmie Johnson says in this video, the coupon code is GIFT!!! — all capitals, three exclamation marks. I couldn’t get in to put in the promo code. Oh well next time…time for bed!
Naturally, the site crashed immediately after they revealed the coupon code. It was gone within 3 minutes. Bummer! I would hope that stores that plan on doing flash-type deals like this would prepare for the jump in bandwidth that they’ll be having, but apparently not.
