Reminder: Lowe's 90% Off Kitchen Aid Mixer 12:01AM EST (1st 100 only)
Just like I promised in my Lowe’s post earlier today, here is a reminder for all you night owls! If you can stay awake until 12:01AM EST, Lowe’s has promised to begin releasing 90% off coupon codes for select items. Lowes has revealed that they are planning to kick off this code craziness with the KitchenAid Stand Mixer at 90% off for 100 fans and 20% off for 900 fans! Soooo, if you are going to attempt to battle it out for one of the 100 90% off codes, here are some tips…
(1) Head over to Lowes.com now
(2) Login or register for an account (this will store your address and allow for a faster online checkout)
(3) Search for the White Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer pictured above (keep in mind that the Lowes site is VERY slow…I was finally able to find the mixer but then unable to add it to my cart which makes me believe that they will not let anyone add it to their cart until 12:01AM?!)
(4) As soon as the clock hits 12:01AM EST, I would begin refreshing the page until you are able to add the mixer to your cart. Then proceed to checkout and add the all important 90% off code (which I am assuming will be posted on the Lowes Facebook Wall)
(5) IMPORTANT: If the promo code quantities have been exhausted by the time you are through the checkout process, the page will indicate that your promo code isn’t valid. Make sure to look for any error messages on the checkout page. If you don’t want the item at that point, you don’t need to proceed with checkout. If you proceed with checkout at that point, you will charged full price for the item.
(6) If you are not fast enough to snag one of the products at 90% off, there are other codes for 20% off that will be posted on the Facebook wall when the 90% off coupons run out.

I got the code entered it and got the low price. While checking out the site crashed on me and I can’t get back in to the site. Luckily I did a print screen of the cart showing that I had the code and the low price of 19.22 with tax. I already emailed them to see if I can get it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I was hoping for the same, but lowes facebook says, “Codes are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and maybe exhausted by the time you finalize your transaction.” I, too, had the mixer for $18, but the site crashed on me when I checked out. :0( I’m so bummed! oh well. I did get my VS deal in the mail today, so I’ll just go put on some free lip gloss and feel better about the whole wast of time/sleep thing. ha ha
I kind of wonder if they intentionally made the site crash out after the codes were used up so they could get people off the site and free up the servers again.

I’m using Explorer and it didn’t matter. I think that the problem is how many people… not which server. they are not prepared for us Hip2 save women!!!!
I had the mixer in the cart and after the code got accepted and I continued to checkout the site crashed, it was a time waster. Anyways congrats to those who got it!
I had it in my cart. It said the promo code was ACCEPTED. It took my total down and I went to pay for it and clicked the continue button and it took me the “site is down page.” I still have it in my cart for 18.10 but it won’t let me check out. Guess I’m SOL. They said on the facebook page the code would say invalid if I didn’t get it in time, but it didn’t say that. I think they should honor it……they can see it is still in my cart. I’m sure they won’t care though. DARN
Take a screen shot or snipping tool shot of your page, and contact them.

I dont understand what happened…i put in the code gift..it said applied..and i went to the check out page (since they said it would not show up till the end) and i was charged the whol amount of $191. So now i have to go to lowes tomorrow, pick it up and return it i guess. Not quite sure what happend. I did it all within a matter of seconds too. (And I consider myself pretty computer savvy so this kind of thing urks me)
The code was GIFT!!!-all caps, and 3 exclamations points. I didn’t get the mixer though. 🙁

Had everything set to go, account registered, item in cart, credit card ready, kept refreshing the fb page for code while having an anxiety attack :), then they threw me for a loop with a video in which I DIDNT HAVE MY SPEAKERS PLUGGED IN!!! It was all very exhausting:)

Well i finally got back to my cart and it went back up to $181.00 so dumb! I had entered all my cc info and hit purchase and the site crashed.
They are saying that there are multiple offers, are they tonight? or another time and I can go to bed?

Then you most likely did not get it. You had to complete the purchase with your credit card and all.

I was registered and got it in my cart at 11:30. Then I just refreshed the FB wall like a mad-woman until they put the code out, entered it in the promo box, and waited patiently while the pages loaded. 🙂

Had the code and my card info in and the site crashed…and then charged my account full price when I didn’t click submit!! Can’t get a hold of the Customer Service until the morning and the site is still going crazy so I can’t cancel it there. I’m livid!

today is just not my day! all was well until 30min befor the lowes promo. My boys (dogs) chewed my flip-flop i got from the JCPenney $10 off $10 promo. Then i get charged full price this dang mixed i would not originaly buy for $200. im just super bummed.
I tried my hardest to get in, but with no luck, it kept crashing on me, I actually had my credit card out too, (red in face…I guess I thought that I really had a chance…) but a good experience for me. I’ve gotten so many “treasures” from this site, I can’t complain, Colin, you have shown me how to save tons of money at all kinds of stores, I will never have to pay for price anymore for HBA, make-up.. (I’m going to give some over the counter stuff a try…I use to be a make up counter girl…but not any more, not in the budget) Any this is my first go at couponing I’ve been doing it for about 2 months now and have a nice stock pile going, started getting my muffins and pancakes in the freezer,and I’m working on inexpenisve christmas gifts already…I would never be this far in the years past so once again a big hug and Thank You to Colin & CO!!
PS, The problem I had with Rue La La..not having my $20.00 credit showing on my account when I sighed up when you told us to, I recieved a very prompt reply saying they apologized and there is now a $20.00 credit on my account, they were very nice about it!!

I was NEVER able to add it to my cart….I was wondering how some people were able to add it ahead of time? Was there two different white mixers on their site?
I did not know people were … I sure couldn’t. Oh well. Hopefully that’s not true.
I had to add it to my cart from the item search page. When I clicked on the actual item, there was no add to cart button, but when I simply searched for it and it showed several different mixers, there was an add-to-cart button there. That’s how I got it in, and I had it sitting in my cart at 11:30.
Most likely they planned for the site to ‘freeze up’ once the initial 100 were honored so I am thinking we all thought we had it in our cart, we put in the code (all 10,000 or so of us), it was accepted, and we got to the last screen and clicked on the final button….it had to crash, or stop, or do something …. cause not all 10,000 of us were gonna get it…lol.
