   oh man, theres plenty of reasons to RUN to rite aid this week! Now just to plan my transactions, I’m going to wait for other people to try the aveeno deal because I’ve always wanted to try their products and at 45 cents?! Thats my magic price! haha 😀 It’s a GREAT week this week!

  if you need to return something that had you had used ups for, they should give you the money back. that’s what my store does. they said they should be considered as cash for a return. (just hope that people won’t abuse it just as a way to get rid of ups).

  To the mommies: My baby reacts wonderful to the Aveeno and after we kicked the J&J stuff out of the bathroom due to rashes this is the only thing we’ve been using. Love the smell of the babywash!

  here in ohio we get the sunday paper on Saturday..I dont know if other places do that too? There is no redplum insert till tomorrow, we only get the P&G and SS but I LOVE the P&G so it works out great!!!

  All of these Indiana Co. posts are cracking me up. I lived in Armagh (Gas Center…) for a long time. Now living in Harrisburg, I never hear about Indiana Co. My parents save the Johnstown Tribune coupons for me, and they are not the best. Indiana Gazette inserts are much better!

    “Should” be able to get the flu coupon book free is definitely the word. I finally got to the store today & asked for a booklet. The lady completely pretended she didn’t know what I was talking about. I clarified the “flu” coupon book & she replied firmly, “No, you have to get a flu shot.” When I proceeded to show her the wording in the ad, she puffed off to asked the pharmacist who seemed to reluctantly consent. So I did get it, but I’m tempted to contact corporate just to see what the story is. My mom got the same run around. If it’s not supposed to be FREE, don’t print that wording repeatedly in your ad!

  I contacted the online reps about this. I too was denied a book. My store doesn’t even offer the flu shot but periodically. When I contacted corporate, they pressed on to find me a time I could get the flu shot. When I said I was really interested in the coupons, they too replied that it would be given with the shot. When I mentioned the ad, they politely recanted and had called the store and found that they do have booklets and they are free upon request, with or without the shot.!! I’ll be getting one next time I’m in!!!!!!!!!

    In your scenario, you mentioned the 2.5 oz Aveeno daily moisturizer. However, the small print in my coupon says” excludes trial and 2.5 oz sizes”. Darn! I was hoping to buy 10 of them for 1.20 after UPs! Oh, well.

    Hello I just went to Rite Aid last week and got the night guard so i have $20 off to spend this week. My question is if there is more then one deal with the up rewards can i get 2 different up rewards on one tranaction? I think it just limits that you can only use one up reward per transaction. Is this right?

  Nicole, yes you can get two deals with two different up rewards on a single transaction. The up rewards will print at the bottom of your receipt. Also, you can pay using your up rewards, there is no limit at Rite Aid. I think you are thinking of Walgreens. I hope this helps 🙂

  The unadvertised Aveeno deal did NOT work in VA either. Still keeping my purchase though. Overall it’s a good deal, it’s the brand we use (didn’t know it belonged to J&J) and it doesn’t come up for sale as often as I need it to 😉

  you have to use the entire +UP, any leftover you loose. (like I’ve had subtotal of $1.97 so I lost 3 cents using a $2 up, but I would never go more than .05, either at RA or CVS)

  My Rite Aid won’t adjust down (my CVS will though), so if an item is $0.99, they will not let me “lose” a penny and use a $1+UP. I guess that’s how they get me to spend a little more to use it. ..

  The reason stores do not like to adjust down the coupons is because if the coupon is not scanned into the register, we actually do not get reimbursed for it. So yes, at my store the total has to be the amount of the +up before tax.

  At my CVS, if my total is $0.99, they punch in $0.01 non-taxable item and then my total is $1 and I can use the $1ECB.

  I am in MA. I can order books for any of the 7 states MA, PA, NJ, NY, MD, GA, OH. Cost is $25 to the school for the books. RA Q’s (and most others Sears, Kohls) have no location restrictions.

  NJ editions have 4 IKEA $10/$100 or $50/$250 good only at Elizabeth and Paramus locations.

  Kmart is restricted to MA, PA, NJ, NY, MD, GA, OH.

  No the only coupon that will affect the MIR is the $4 MQ that they supplied, so they will give a maximum of $18 back. The SCR is never affected by the coupon usage. HTH

  I bought two of the 14 count boxes and the UP did not print out. At the bottom of my receipt it looks like it’s tracking and says Maalox up when you spend $20—total spent 22.41….so it should have printed and didn’t. I’m thinking it was because I did them in two transactions back to back

  Mine rang up at $19.79 with my discount, but it still printed the $10 +UPs, it wouldn’t accept my Man Q though and the cashier isn’t to coupon friendly so I didn’t push the issue. With the MIR it’s still a MM.

  Yep, I got both. One said Neutrogena/Aveeno, the other said Aveeno Hair Care. I got 4 Aveeno shampoo or conditioner, one leave in treatment, and the small moisturizing hand lotion (around $3.49).

  I hear ya. Last week the John Frieda deal didn’t work for me, and I tried the Aveeno this morning and it didn’t work. Not complaining but just trying to figure out why the deals don’t work. I buy the exact products listed in the scenarios and go right away (as soon as my sale starts) but they don’t work. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong.

    I am in Maine too about to be dumped off the US and we got the $8 off covergirl but not the pert.
    On the prevaid if you have 20% off it will be below the $20 I threw in a small bottle of maalox to get my coupon.
    On the dove my rite aid allowed me to use the BOGO then you are allowed to use one coupon BUT it can be stacked so I bought 10 shampoo used 5 BOGO then I used my 3 vv $2 off then 4 75cent off coupons that are on coupons.com.

  No you don’t have to show it to the cashier as the total is tracked on the card and it can been seen on the receipt. And once you reach $30 for the Aveeno deal it will automatically print your +UP rewards. Hope that helps!

    Since when did Rite Aid stop allowing VV Qs to stack with MQs? I went to do the Prevised deal and it beeped and they said because they both were MQs and would not take both. Also the Advil gelcaps 80ct. were $10.99 at my store so no deal there either and I didn’t bother with the Dove deal so I walked out with nothing. Rite Aid is not convenient for me anymore so I have to make a special effort to go there but really not a big deal. I might try the Cover Girl deal after I study it a little longer, this next week. CVS is my favorite place, hardly ever have a problem there and they are near my house.

  Same here! My advil was 10.99 but I still got it because i need it! My rite Aid had the pet hair sweepers (with swiffers) on sale for 50% off and with $1.00 coupon …got it for $1.50. I had no pert coupons except head and shoulders. My make up was more money and they only had one package of olay wipes. I wish they stocked more.

    FYI, if anyone is thinking about the Emergen-C deal, the Dollar General sells the same count box for $3.75 and Walmart is likely priced similarly, so the RA price on this one is over double what you’d normally pay!
