    Trying to order the knife set. Page has been stuck on “processing” for half hour. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

          The same thing happened to me so I tried it again and it worked the second time. I got my confirmation email about 1 minute later.

        I tried ordering and got all the way through…even putting inaddress and credit card info and the site came back that they were already sold out…. Guess they only had a few….disappointing!

      Yes, I had the same problem so now I don’t know if it went through or not – I’m assuming not. I sent an email to the company, but haven’t received a response.
      Want the knives, but don’t want to try again and be charged twice. Not sure what to do.

        I just called customer service, the woman said that their website is down and none of the orders are going through. It should be fixed in an hour or so. She said to try again later in the day when its fixed. And that if you have done it multiple times right now that no ones cards are getting charged.

      Having exactly same problems with knife order, and, like Fete, started order (the first time) as Jill was beginning. Hopefully one (or more) of my orders went through. I may have messed up my first attempt by refreshing my screen. Second attempt is still hanging. I figure if I get more than one, somebody’s going to get married within the next year – Am concerned, however, about that e-mail address kicking back SO quickly. I am also wondering if this is a scam.

      Same problem. Called the 800 number and was told it may take up to three hours to “update” the order and I should call back then. Cannot place the Today special order over the phone, no reason given. Not the end of the world surely but I think I’m just going to write this off.

      On my first try the knife page said it was sold out, but tried again and was successful on the next try and got a conformation number.

      I was able to go right through the process without any problems. Would suggest trying again. Think maybe there has been such an influx of orders that they were overloaded.

      I agree. I live in Texas and by the time we see the steals and deals they are already sold out. I check on line in the mornings before the items are broadcast, but usually the good ones are sold out!

        I live in Texas also. When a vendor sells out, there should be some kind of notice on the product listing. Creating an order, then the “alert” the goods are sold out, is a waste of time and a bummer!

        The ‘DEALS’ POST ONLINE 1Hour Before the episode actually airs in your time zone. So next Tuesday come to the TodayShow.com website @ 9:15AM your time. You’ll be able to see all the DEALS at same time as East/Central Zoners!

        The company saved some of their inventory in blankets for the West Coast. Check back after 12:15 ET and try to buy your desired color then! But again, these are popular deals and going fast! We’ve already sold thousands and thousands.

      I was on steals and deals before it was over and couldn’t get any blankets 🙁 bummed! Had 4 in my cart went to check out and all are gone. . . plus the amount for shipping was way too much! I hate not being able to get in on a good deal when it isn’t even announced yet!

      only certain colors sold out. after trying to buy each one, i found that the giraffe and black were the only 2 colors NOT sold out and I was able to buy them just 2 minutes ago. try again.

        I went back and tried ordering and it went through, however, the only colors left are giraffe and black. If you try ordering another color that is sold out then the site will say it’s sold out and not even tell you the other color is available.

    @ Jill, Not to be rude but with all being posted… I wish I’d read posts before I purchased other stuff while back… Does the Today Show, or yourself get any “kickbacks” for promoting these products? Do you even test them out? Read any reviews before bringing them to the MILLIONS of viewers?
    Do you even bother to read the testimony of the “potential customers?” Or am I just wasting my time asking you?
    I am not an Oprah fan at all, but you have to live under a rock not to know the “Oprah’s Favorite Things” has produced some mass quantities of products. There were ppl begging to be on that particular show. But at the very least, You have to know ALL the products were tested, approved by her staff, and then Oprah herself!
    I don’t understand why the “Jill’s Steals and Deals” is a hassle!

      I’ve actually seen ads from them requesting companies to feature their product on air in return for huge discounts to the customers. It’s all based on the company’s proposed “retail” price, which could be anything, it’s up to them! I’ve never bought any of these deals, because I really don’t believe the actual retail price they are advertising. Today was the first day I was going to buy the knives and saw that shipping is $13, seems really excessive, and any GREAT online shopping deal gives free shipping..Collin knows that. 😉

    I placed an order for 2 “Throws” via the Today Show’s “Steals & Deals” on October 18th. The charge of $81.00 was posted to VISA account on October 20th.

    HOWEVER, as of this date I have not received the items OR NOTIFICATION OF SHIPMENT.

    I have called your customer service number numerous times, to no avail. Each time I was transferred to an answering machine. Each time I stated my problem and request a return call.
    Again, to no avail. My last call was this morning.

    I ordered these throws to be, in turn shipped, to friends as Christmas gifts. It is important that I receive them shortly in order to get them to my friends by Christmas.

    PLEASE CHECK ON MY ORDER AND ADVISE when I should expect to receive these items.

      The same thing happened to me so I called my credit card company and told them I hadn’t received the goods I had paid for and wanted to start a claim against the seller. Before they would start the claim they wanted me to contact the seller. I then emailed Pure Fiber and told them that if I did not hear from them within 5 days I would begin a fraud claim with my credit card company. Within one day I received an email crying crocodile tears and, well, you know the song and dance. Two days later I received a tracking number and then yesterday the product. Just follow my advice and you will receive the merchandise.

      I ordered 2 throws the same day and finally emailed them last week. I received an email reply stating that the remainder of throw orders would be shipped out this week. This remains to be seen. Good Luck!

    I tried to put my order in twice for the knives and it kept saying that it is processing and never processed and I waited about a1/2 hour the second time. I finally called the customer service and the man told me it would take 3 or 4 to 24 hours to process. I will not leave something on my computer that long. It never takes that long to process an order. I’m wondering if they really know what they’re doing??

    I ordered 2 of the “Destiny Collection Blankets”, and I haven’t received a confirmation via email.

    Has anyone ever received a confirmation email after placing an order.

    It seems like many people are having issues with shipping. I’m hoping that it arrives by Christmas like it says.

        I couldn’t find it, so I went ahead and order 2 more. I wanted the Giraffe & Burgundy, but ended up getting the Giraffe & Black (1 out of 2 isn’t bad).

        I’ll keep an eye out for an email from the first order, but did receive one right away for the 2nd order). I don’t see a phone # to contact them regarding the first order, but I guess I can ck to see if I was charged.

    I ordered the monogramed necklaces a couple of months ago.They were suppose to retail at $140+ and the ‘deal” was 35.00.They were ‘gold plated’.Well..let me tell you that what I received (finally) looked like I got them at the mall courtyard.Some of the stones were missing,so I called the company….thinking if they were damaged they would make good on them…..silly me. The rep told me all sales are final…So now I have two (expensive) “cheap” necklaces for two close friends for Christmas. The company is Danielle Stevens Jewelry LLC. Too bad there is no way to review the companies or products before the deadline to order these “Deals”.

    I ordered the towels on 11/1 and they got my order wrong – supposed to be 2 sets in taupe and 2 in sage. I received one month later two sets in taupe, one in sage, and one in chocolate brown. I emailed the company at todayshow@slhomefashions.com without a response and tweeted Jill without a response. I’ve had great success with other products, but why isn’t anyone responding to the problems that people are having with their orders, especially the many that are posting here?

    I’ve ordered several of the (deals) and after waiting on some of them for over 2 months it seems like they are putting off cull items on people as you can’t return anything. The comforter set I ordered had stains all over it where the colors had bled and ran all over it and it wasn’t even the color ordered. I think people should stay away from these steals as they steal your money. Just not right!

    Okay, I’m confused. I went online AS SOON as I saw it on TV. I thought we were watching it LIVE, but the blankets were SOLD OUT. I even ordered before Jill got to them on the TV. Then I read other post and found out they were sold out 30 minutes before we even found out about them. Come on Today Show. That’s not fair to us watching in different time zones. What are we supposed to do. I really needed that for my kids. So what do we need to do?

    Rose I would pursue returning your comforter set. You did not pay good money to buy damaged or defective items. Contact your credit company and dispute the charges. There is a difference between returning because you did not like/or changed your mind and returning because it is damaged. I would be relentless until I was given my money back!

    I ordered the towel sets a few months ago. They were plush and large, which was good and I was initially pleased. Used them new, and found them to be shedding a lot. Washed them in a tumble washer and dryer, then used them again. They are still shedding somewhat, unfortunately. Maybe the second time they are washed, they’ll stop shedding. Another item I ordered in the past … the flocked sheet sets … were defective. I wrote to the manufacturer, they acknowledged my email, and said they would get back to me. Sigh.

    Yes, I agree that Jill’s Steals and deals should have someone testing these products before agreeing to present them. The companies presented are getting a major advertising bonus! I’ve bought a number of things via Jill’s Steals and Deals, and so far, the 2 items that involved fabric (towels and sheets) have proven to be less than wonderful.

    How about it, Jill’s Steals and Deals?

    Also, I’d like to suggest a giveaway item for every item presented, for every show.

    Also, I’d like the Today Show to always have this thread available for posts all the time.

    I love the candles, but $15 for shipping is excessive…even though they are on sale, it doesn’t seem like quite a deal when you factor that in. It’s almost $60! I can find a better deal at the mall. Was expecting around $8 for shipping. I had a huge box come from Solutions.com at $15…not 4 candles.

    I tried to order the blankets and knife set as well
    Blankets were all sold out by checkout
    Knives had me enter all my cc info and submit before saying sold out- so not sure if i will be charged or not
    Literally ordered 5 seconds after seeing on tv
    Terrible to be sold out so quickly- bad business

    I had wanted to order a couple of the throws myself but they were sold out-quickly. Oh well, I guess some folks go online before the show airs and place their order-early bird, I suppose.
    At any rate, I still appreciate the “Steals & Deals”! While the post re: Oprah’s favorite things is accurate, there was never any special pricing that I recall. You could go out and find those “favorite things” but you paid whatever the retail price was (of course, I didn’t watch that often but the couple of time I did watch that particular show every year I never saw any special pricing for viewers. It makes sense that vendors were begging to get on that show-it increased their revenue and not just because the numbers went up but also they were getting full price for the items.
    I prefer Jill’s Steals & Deals! At least if you’re lucky enough to get online and purchase before things are sold out, you get a great deal on them. And the site generally tells you approx. how long it will be before shipping. I’ve ordered many things off this site and it usually takes no less than 6-8 weeks to receive them-the orders must be huge! I’m still waiting on a bracelet I ordered weeks ago to come in but I have received an email and any other order that I had a question about, I was able to go to that website and email customer service-not the Today Show, and received an answer very quickly.
    Wish I had checked on the blankets earlier but had work to do. My loss-maybe they’ll find more but for anyone ordering at this late date for Christmas-I’d just be prepared for delay. The site will say if they guarantee shipment by Christmas and if not, I’d be prepared with another gift!

    I was able to place my order for the knives right away, now I’m worried that I will even get them after reading all the other post. Ugh you would think Jill would check all of this stuff out before she shows it on the show. Im sure she wont be helping anyone with getting a refund. Live and learn.
