* Add this Babycakes Cake Pops Maker to your cart. It’s on sale for $24.99 $14.99- down from $29.99! This same Cake Pops maker is going for $52.95 on Amazon, so this already seems like a great price!

    Which time zone?

  2. Dawna

Good price but beware this machine will not work to make REAL, traditional, moist cake pops.

    • Aegina

Hi, Dawna– Thanks for the warning! I haven’t made cake pops before- can you explain a little? Thanks!!!

      • Lauren

Google cake pops, there are a ton of blogs and videos that will teach you. I would list one but I’m on my phone :).. And the best part is, you don’t have to buy any gadgets to make em 🙂

        • Aegina

Thank you both for explaining! I did see a recipe that included frosting mixed in, but I was hoping maybe this was a shortcut that my daughter wouldn’t mind… 😉

          • Lauren

It’s definitely a shortcut, I am actually buying one for my 12 year old niece who loves to bake but I know won’t have the patience to make an actual cake pop. 🙂

      • Dawna

With real cake pops you bake a cake then crumble it up and mix it with frosting. From there you can create different shapes (I did hearts one year for V-day), pop them on a stick, freeze them slightly and then coat in melted chocolate & decorate.

Mixing the cake with frosting creates a very moist and delicious treat whereas I can imagine just baking “cake bites” without the frosting mixed in would be a much different experience.

It’s a lot of work to make cake pops but EVERYONE LOVES THEM when done the “traditional” way! I have made them and sent them in to school with my kiddos and work with my hubby and they come home with requests that so&so wants the recipe.

    • Lauren

I agree, it should be marketed as cake bites… Real cake pops have the frosting mixed with the cake and taste a million times better!

      • LC

I agree as well. I just bought one of these around Thanksgiving and ended up not even using it because after seeing several tutorials, it just made more sense to make them that way – without this product. I still have it and it’s never been opened, but I can’t find the receipt. Does anyone know if Kohl’s will take it for store credit or something? 🙁

        • Cj

          They will!

          • LC

            Thanks, Cj!

  3. Emily

Oh my goodness…what an AWESOME deal. Had to order one for myself and one for a gift. I have a daughter graduating in June and was planning on paying BIG BUCKS to have someone make cake pops. Now I’ll be making them myself! 🙂

  4. Jodi

Headquarters are in Wisconsin, so I’d guess central time.

  5. scarlett

score!! just got one, yay! these will make easy treats for my daughters preschool class! thanks Collin!

  6. scarlett

shoot, I just ordered one but I am eastern time, i wonder if this will be an issue?? they should honor it since it is 12:12 my time, it doesn’t specify what time zone does it?

    • Danielle

I am hesitant, I want one, but I am also east coast… it is midnight here, lol

      • Shawn Pepera

your receipt will be dated the 11th…. should be fine. I got one!

        • denise

Yes, Shawn is correct – just printed my receipt and it is in fact for 12/11.

      • Jenn

Really it should not matter. It is 12:24 a.m. here and that is what will show on my receipt. 12/11/11 at 12:24 a.m.

      • asu13

I’m on the west coast and my order date says 12/11, so you’ll be fine! 🙂

        • shawna!!!

@asu13 THANKS for posting from the west coast because i was considering waking up to buy this at midnight and i woulda been so irritated with myself to do something so ridiculous for a “deal” hee. i’m about to order now, thanks again! i love hip2save.

  7. Shawn Pepera

in for one as well!!! Should make pretty fun treats for the kiddos!!!!

  8. True Bargainista

Use XMASFREE code for Free Shipping to! Just completed my order $21.19 in total with taxes. Thanks for telling about this deal!

  9. denise

I just ordered one. I’m in NY – I think they will honor the rebate as long as it is Dec. 11 or 12 where you are purchasing from. Most people wouldn’t be able to figure out the time zone part of the deal – they would just assume it is talking about the time it is where they are. 🙂 Good deal! Thank you!

  10. Melissa

Im in Arizona but I am not up for waiting til 12… I wonder if I sould go ahead or not :/

    • asu13

I’m in Arizona and just ordered with no problems. Receipt is dated 12/11, you should be great.

    • Jenn

I would make sure it is 12:00 a.m. or later your time. Otherwise your receipt will say the 10th. HTH!

      • Jenn

        Or maybe not….:)

    • Melissa

ok i did it and it worked! Thanks

  11. Candice

WHY Can’t I use my Kohl’s cash, it’s December 11th. Anyone tried using your Kohl’s cash for this product?

    • Candice

Figured it out, you have to wait until 1am Eastern time to use your Kohl’s cash. After rebate and Kohl’s cash it was 2.83. 🙂

  12. Jenn

Got it! Thanks! So worth $10! I just bought the Starbucks cake pop kit to make with my girls and it was $10 to make 12 pops and then you have nothing left over…hahaha! My girls will love this!

  13. Lyndi Smith

which one is better??? ebates or shopathome? are they worth signing up for?

  14. Rachel Kuzniar

How so I print my receipt?

    • Rachel Kuzniar

** How do I print my receipt?

      • Jo

You can print the email receipt to use with the rebate if that is what you are asking.

        • Rachel Kuzniar

Yes. That’s actually what I am asking.

I didn’t know if there was a way to print a receipt from the actual Kohl’s website, like you can at walmart.com.

          Thank you very much!

  15. Rachel Kuzniar

    do*

  16. Jo

My little girl will love using this with me! Thanks for the deal Collin. So excited to get this one. I’m west coast also and my receipt shows the 11th.

  17. Linda

I just read the rebate and unless I’m not understanding something right, you have to have the actual items off the box the cakepops cooker comes in to get the rebate. So, it appears we may not be able to use this rebate. You might want to check it out to see if you understand it the same way I do before you purchase one.

  18. Alexcia

I ordered one but yet my printed reciept from the website shows 12/10 at 11:48pm, does this mean I won’t be getting the rebate? Oh no, I hope not!

    • Alexcia

Nevermind, the email I just received from Kohl’s has the 12/11/11 date on it which is the one I will submit for the rebate. Sorry everyone, I’m a bit tired and new at this! Awesome deal and I’m a Hip2save JUNKIE!

  19. Cindy

Got one…great deal. Got one for my niece for her birthday in October and now one for my girls for Christmas…was going to get it anyways, but this made it a really easy decision. Love Kohls…and this website!

  20. Melinda

Can I use Kohls Cash to pay for this? This is my first time having Kohls Cash, not sure if they will still give me the full rebate? Anyone know?

    • Candice

Yes I did use Kohl’s cash, it was 12.83, then after rebate it will be 2.83. Loving this deal.

    • Diana

I don’t see why you can’t use the Kohl’s cash as long as it’s not expired! It didn’t say you can’t use. However, I was told by one of the employees at Kohl’s that the Kohls cash would come off BEFORE your 20%off coupon. I’m not sure if it’s the same when you purchase online tho.

Go order NOW!!! The price just dropped to 14.99 before any coupon! Hurry!!!!

  21. Cristie

Remember go through the discovercard network and get 10% cashback!!

    • gkleber

discover card website is down until 6 am due to maintenance 🙁

  22. Shelly

The price just went down to $14.99 on sale, and the rebate is still available!

  23. KARLA

I used my Kohl’s cash but had to wait until midnight in my zone (central). I tried submitting it prior to midnight and received error message about the date allowed.

  24. Katie

Wow, seemed to drop in price at 12 central time to $14.99. My total after that 20% and free ship was $12.83! Awesome!!!

    • Jenn

Me tooooooo! Thanks for posting! I reordered and will cancel the first order! $2.83 after rebate and 4% back from Ebates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Katie

I ordered a second one for a gift because you can do 2 rebates per household. So less than $6 for 2 after rebates!!

        • Jenn

Ahhhhh! Now I thank you Katie! I called to cancel the first order and they are closed. I totally forgot about the 2 rebates per household. I am going to ask them to adjust the price on my first order tomorrow or cancel. My mama would love one too 🙂

    • Melody Miller

Me too I just bought 2 and paid $25.48 (then submitting rebate for -$20) = $5.48 for both! Shipped!! 🙂 Thanks Collin

    • Aegina

Wow!!!! Thank you so much for the heads up! I ordered one and then saw the price drop — tried to call, but of course no one is there. I tried to cancel by email, but went ahead and ordered another one — I figure the worst that can happen is that I return one to the store.

    • Jodi

Me too! with tax, it was $12.71 – and when I send in the rebate, it will be $2.72. A 90% savings! Woot!
