    Love the pet deals!
This reminds me, I received an email from Petco to give $5/1 bag of Wellness dry food to friends. If anyone wants one let me know & I’ll email it! Bags are usually around $12.

Funny. I just got a Q from PetSmart for a free Greenie for my dog!

thank you for posting…I usually delete petsmart emails.

      • Jaime

Don’t delete the Petsmart emails without reading! They send coupon ALL the time for lots of things! 🙂

Does anybody have problem with Pro Plan dry cat food? I got a bag recently, and my cat became super sick after eating Pro Plan food for few days… 🙁

    • Megan Vaughan

I use pro plan and my cat has not had any problems!

I always get free or really cheap pet food (using coupons) no matter the brand. I donate it all to a local rescue. 🙂 I am also thinking of starting a pet food bank for those in my area who can’t afford to feed their fur babies.

      I like that idea Melony!

I have never shopped at petco before. Can you use manufacture coupons too?

    • Ashley57

You can use MQ at Petco. When I bought mine, the lady gave me a coupon for another free one, so I went back and got that one too!

Will petsmart accept this coupon? I heard they take competitor coupons but not sure if they accept them for free items. It lets you print more than one, so since it would not be linked to you card at petsmart, you could probably use more than one just different transactions I guess.

Went to petsmart today to use a petco $5 off Hills and their policy said limit 2 but they let me use 3. Dont know if its different for Free.

  7. Sarah says animal welfare comes first to me!

Just my own personal observation, but I would never shop at a Petco, even if they offered free product for life. They are known for abuse to animals and, to me, no coupon or great sale, is worth it.

Are you talking about that article about the groomer cutting off part of that dog’s ear and then gluing it back on…and I think part of it’s tail.

      • E

OMG, I just googled. Sick. I never shop there unless I can get free stuff for the shelter (or the occasional free treat for the dog)…contemplating not doing that now.

        • Sarah says animal welfare comes first to me

It IS horrifying, isn’t it? Those poor, helpless animals. I never heard of the dog groomer before. OMG! That poor dog! 🙁

          • E

It was on Yahoo news a few days ago… 🙁

    • Sam

Ira better to just get the free item and donate it because animal shelters and rescues could really use it. The economy has hit them hard. If it’s the dog grooming thing I think that was isolated, I haven’t heard anything else. But you should at least get the free stuff if you care so much about About animals and donate it.

This is awesome! I do one of two things with stuff like this:
    1. If I think my dogs will like it I mix it in with the dogs’ dry food for a treat.
    2. Donate to the Humane Society.

  9. Jess

Petsmart will also take these coupons as competitor coupons!
