Does anyone know how the MaxPerks Rewards program works or is there a post or tutorial on here? I’m just wondering if I use one of my rewards that I got from buying something last month on something this month that is on MaxPerks reward, will I get a new reward? Basically, can you roll these (similar to rolling RR’s from Wags week to week)? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Yes, you may roll these rewards. If you bought product A and got a Maxperks bonus rewards out of it, you may be able to use that bonus rewards to purchase product B, providing that Product B is not a gift card. In addition, you will be also be receiving the corresponding Maxperks bonus rewards from buying product B. However, this transaction will not qualify for the regular Rewards wherein you get $25 for every $500 bought.

I called about this because I had purchased one of the bonus reward chairs last week and used a 10/40 coupon. The store employees were unsure if I would get the full reward but the customer service rep I talked to on the phone said that the bonus reward would be deducted by the amount of the coupon. So I got the chair that was 79.99 used a 10/40 and paid 69.99+ tax and will be getting back 60 in rewards ( vs the 70 if I hadnt used a coupon)
I was told by a phone CS that store/mf will not lessen the amount of your Bonus Rewards.. I checked my bonus reward for the Duracell Batteries last week, the mf I used was not deducted from my Bonus Rewards.
I used to do OfficeMax rewards deals a long time ago and am just now getting back into it today. I went to the local store and they didn’t have much. However, I just purchased $56 worth of these deals… kind of scary to pay that much up front but I realize I can start rolling it from now on.
I do have a question… do you have to use the entire rewards amount at one time? Or will they deduct what you used from it like a gift card? Thanks!
In the past when I have had rewards and didn’t purchase enough to use it all, they just deducted the amount I purchased and wrote what I had leftover on the copy I printed out from my acct. As long as you don’t forget to use it by the exp. date. Office Max rocks!!!
Marie is right. Another change you might want to know is that both regular and bonus rewards can’t be used towards the purchase of a gift card.

Yes. I called and they said to order over the phone to get that price, because they need to time to correct it online.

The last two orders I placed after reading about them on Hip2Save were cancelled. For one, I got an e-mail but for the other one (July 15) I received no notifcation. I finally called this weekend and, even though it says it shipped online, they said it is not going to be shipped and I will get my $60 refunded. Um, I hope so. I will need to keep following it. Some of the items I bought were the felt tip markers and and paper in this deal. I don’t trust Office Maxx.
If I buy the chair for 99.99 today, how long will it take for my office max rewards to show up? Also, can I buy a giftcard or something with the rewards? And by the way, can you use shopathome with Amazon?
Anything you purchase this month will be calculated at the end of the month and then your rewards will be available at the end of the following month. They are good for 90 days from the date they are issued except in Florida where they are good for 1 year I believe. I hope this makes sense. If your confused go to OfficeMax.com and go to the bottom where the Maxperks tab is and it is all explained there.
You can’t use the rewards to buy giftcards.
Also, if anyone went to Old Navy this weekend for their BTS deals, the included coupon you should have received will work toward purchases online. It’s also a $10/$40. If anyone has one they aren’t going to use, I’d happily trade coupons for it.

Anything purchased in August for rewards will be available for use the end of Sept.
Is there a benefit to joining the teacher program instead of the regular one?
The regular program you have to spend $500 to get $25 back (unless it’s the bonus rewards) and with the teacher program you spend $75 and get $10 back.
