I started Max Perk Rewards in August and my rewards just came in. I don’t have an Office Max near me so it isn’t worth spending less then $50. Should I hold out for better free offers or just get 3 staplers to continue the rewards?

    • mackyjane

Well, the question is…do you need 3 staplers, or have somebody to share them with? Because if not then you might as well hold out for another week. I don’t have an OfficeMax near me either, so my first order was a little pricier than I wanted, but I was able to get some labels for my sis-in-law to use for her wedding and some more paper (for printing coupons), and then I bought 3 packs of permanent markers (which I didn’t need 3 packs). Anyway, the point is, I now I have to figure out what I’m going to do with 12 permanent markers. So if you don’t think you’ll find a “home” for the staplers, I’d hold off.

Don’t forget, that they have HP ink where you can get 20% back (wyb $50 worth), so if you need more ink for your printer and for your coupons that’s one way to spend that Max Perks money!

i bought hp ink from rite aid last year when it was on sale using $5/20 vv. now i don’t think i can get these cheaper from rite aid as they don’t have $5/20 or $5/25 offer. so far my calculation, i was able to get may be spending $5 or $6. right now my ink level is lower. will it be worth buying from office max. can anyone have any idea of what to buy or how to buy in order to spend less.

I could use one stapler, but not three. I’m just worried because the deals lately have been things like half off printers and bags which I have no need for.

Is the limit 2 staplers of each item number, or 2 staplers?

      • Kel

I think it is two staplers per item number

I have a question about using coupons on these purchases. I noticed some people saying before that if you use a coupon on an item offering 100% rewards that you will only get back the amount after the coupon is deducted. My question is that for the Smead Folders they have this week that have 50% rewards, if I bought a pack, and used a $10 coupon, will I still get the $10 back (50% of the total price of $20) or will I only get $5 back (50% of $10 after coupon)? TIA!

I’ve heard from others they take the money off of the rewards, but I’d get that confirmed with someone who has tried.

This may sound silly but how do I apply my rewards to my on-line purchase? I have brought up my reward card, clicked go shopping and when I go to check out, there is no obvious sign that order is using rewards and they are still asking for my credit card security #.

    • Shimu

Click on scroll bar, choose add a card. There u will see the option of adding a gift card. Put ur card no and pin no. Also put ur cc security pin too. But only ur gift card will be applied to ur purchase. I ordered yda for the first time using om reward card.

        Thanks Shimu!

Bought 3 staplers just so I can do my first roll! Excited to see how long I can cont to roll these rewards. In the future, I hope the deals are better than this b/c I don’t even need staplers.
