I just tried this in Clackamas Target in Portland, OR. It worked for me. Just make sure you do not get another watch, because it will deduct the lower of the two watches. I went back to get earrings and it took off the Timex watch. There were still lots of nice watches left on the shelves.

I have texted twice and can’t get the website to go through. (I don’t have a smartphone) I have done this before, but it is saying “coupon not available at this time”. UGGGHH! frustrated.
I had the same problem with my text only phone. I retyped the link on a computer, but got a no coupons available msg. So, I forwarded the target email with the link to my email address. When I opened the email (on my computer) and clicked on the link a page of target coupon offers came up. I printed the page out, per the suggestion of some other Hipster’s comments, and am hoping the cashier will take a printed version. Good Luck
🙁 having the same problem. Tried emailing it and sending the link in goggle chat to my hubby’s smartphone. Then I emailed the address that came up in the error link, they told me to call target, and the people there couldn’t help either. Told me I had to text “help.” Well the only thing ‘help’ sent me was the same phone number or the how to cancel getting coupons….

I didn’t like our clearance so I bought a 4.99 2 pack of earrings. It worked.
I would have gotten something cheaper to take advantage of the offer better, but I liked 2 Timex watches. I couldn’t make up my mind which one to buy, so I got both. I was charged $34.99 for the cheaper watch, and the $39.99 watch was free. So I got 2 watches for the price of one.

Something tells me that they didn’t MEAN to do it, but now that it is out there, they have to honor it and they were just clarifying that they will.

I just signed up and got the same thing. Said I’d receive my first coupons within a couple weeks. I’m hoping they come faster! This is a pretty sweet deal!
My husband and I both did it yesterday in Seattle- two pairs of earrings and 2 watches for under $10, what a deal! That said, my sister tried to do the deal in West Seattle, and the manager took her coupon then voided it saying “oh, it is a mistake, we can’t take this” even after my sister said “hey, check your own FB page, this is legit”, so she lost out on the deal. She went to customer service, and they didn’t fix it. So, it can vary store to store.

Worked for me! I first tried it with a ‘FEED’ bracelet on clearance for 2.40 and it didn’t work so I went back and got some clearance earrings. I got a nice Timex for my son, reg price 39.99!
FEED america items are not working I tried with one and it didn’t go through. I tried a different item for 7.99 which ended up being on sale for 7.10 and it worked :o)
I did it today! No one seems to be using it in my area – shelves were fully stocked. My cashier thought it was pretty awesome. She and the cashier in the next lane each said they’ve only had one other person use it. I too did the deal in Wilsonville Oregon and bought a bracelet on clearance for $3.88, and got a beautiful necklace free valued at $29.99. I didn’t want a watch, and the deal works on jewelry too. I was looking for the most expensive jewelry they had to take advantage of the maximum value on the deal, and I have a suspicion that they cleared out all the more expensive stuff and put it under the counter, until all the deals go through. Saturday is not the deadline, Friday is!! The manager at Wilsonville told me Saturday too, but on the coupon it says expires on Oct. 4th, and that’s tomorrow on Friday! Just a heads up on that for anyone who was going to wait till Saturday!
i just signed up and got a message saying “you will receive your first coupons within a couple of weeks”. did i do something wrong? what should i do now to get mobile coupons?

I got a ladies Timex watch (35.99) for free with earrings. I was concerned that the deal wouldn’t work, so I asked the lady working in the jewelry dept. and also at the customer service desk. Both confirmed that the deal was valid but was only working on watches and not with clearance items. So I paid $7.99 and got two pairs of earrings and a watch. I also scored on hamburger and ground turkey and a clearance bottle of wine! I saved more than twice what I spent at Target today!

thanks, my hubby needed a new watch he could wear while in his army everyday uniform and this will be great! i got a pair of earrings i really like for 3.50 (70%off!) and a 49.99 casio digital solar watch for just under 4.00! what a great deal! thinking about going back with my hubbys smartphone later and getting him one that he can wear with his dress uniform as well. checking off things off my christmas list already!

I got a clearance bracelet for my tween for 3.88 and got a 39.99 Ironman watch for my college-aged son for free (so there is his big Christmas present). With my husband on furlough from the federal government with no idea of when he will be back to work or when he will get paid again, this deal was like manna.
My store clerk didn’t even blink when this scanned. She said that Target has been trying to increase the visibility of their Cartwheel app as well as their mobile coupons, so this super deal that so many people were getting upset about may have been intentional on Target’s part.

I used mine today at The Target at Westfield Mall in Escondido CA and it worked fine. The store had just opened and the young girl at the register looked very shocked when the coupon rang up but did not say anything. The most expensive watches at my Target were 39.99 Timex watches, including the Iron Man ones. I bought a pair of earrings for $4.99 and got a Ladies Timex watch for free. I called Corporate before I went and the agent checked with a technician about the coupons. They did say it was a glitch in the set up, but that they were going to honor it. I also recieved an email from guest relations that said the following.

Although I didn’t need it at my Target, coupon worked with no problem. But I did have them scan the lower priced item first and then the higher 2nd (someone suggested to do it this way)…but I did the deal twice, once with my smartphone, and hubby did it with his smartphone and no problems either time.

Download the Target app from either Google Play or whereever you get apps for your smartphone. After it is installed go to the app then on the left side there should be a column that includes Deals and Coupons. Click on that and go to Mobile Coupons. It should ask for your phone number, name, etc. After you put that in it should send you a text with a 4 digit code. Go back to the Target App and use the code. It should pop up for you right away. HTH.
I downloaded the app but under the mobile coupons section it just says “Check back soon for more great savings. Mobile coupons will update about once a week, so check back for more offers.” Thanks for the suggestion though!!

So i did this deal twice, first time rang up fine second time it took smallest price item. The lady was really nice and i swapped the clearance item out and it worked. So if you have a problem try again.

Thank you whoever suggested calling my cell provider. Found out I had short codes blocked. I had her unblock them and sent OFFERS and my code and qpons came right away.
