Walgreens: 2013 Black Friday Deals (11/28-11/30)

There is also a coupon on the front page of weekly ad valid on Black Friday only. You can use it to score 25% off your purchase of regularly priced items – 11/29 only. Since most product will be on sale, I’m not sure if this coupon will even be worth using… but be sure to let us know if you come across any great regular-priced products that would be good to pair with this coupon. Maybe items that rarely or never go on sale?
As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.

I saw one for Walmart. It was the Graco Carseat/Stroller set for $99. It’s the 6pm event on Thursday night. And I would look out for the Babies/Toys R Us ads in case they do any good deals.

But the 4 days prior are TONS of goodies! Last year, if I recall, all the deals were extended b/c I picked up a few things Thurs morning that I could not find on the 4-day ad.

Yes if you do 2 separately you will receive 2 RRs . Normally there is no limit on the RRs.

And make sure you don’t use the crest RR to buy the next crest because it will cancel out the second RR. I learned that the hard way last year when I started at Walgreens.
So then if I buy 4 of the crest 3D TPaste I would need to do 4 Esperanto transactions.???
That is why I don’t like RR from Walgreens.
I work at Walgreens and they all roll now! You can do as many as possible (with regards to store discretion) and ALL owed RR will print continuously now.
I noticed that a few weeks ago with a candy deal, It printed 4 RR for the 4 bags I bought. I was shocked.
So are you saying if I buy toothpaste that has a RR I can turn around and use that RR to buy another toothpaste???

The last time i shopped at walgreens, i couldnt use the rr on the next puchase on the same day. Did anybody else have the same problem?
nope. last year I was able to roll my RRs right behind the other. I did 4 transactions at the Beauty Counter.
Can you use a Register Reward the same day that you earn it? I know it will have to be on a different transaction…is there a limit on the number of transactions you can do? I don’t shop at Walgreen’s often 🙂
you can use it the same day, transactions depends on store limit, at one store in my area you had to go to the beauty counter and limit was 4
Wow. I think i’m going to have too many RRs how am I going to use them up so quickly???
That is the problem with RR.
Set up multiple transactions to use them as you buy the other products. Then you won’t leave with quite so many in hand.

Heather … Not sure but I think the later you print them out the longer they’ll last I printed a few out a couple of days ago and they all said they expire the 15th and I just did one today and it says the 21st now

Register Rewards. It is a coupon that prints up at the end of your transaction, to be used on another day.
I have a CVS question: I get a lot of emails with like 25% off but it always says “excluding sale items” does that mean you can’t use it if you buy the deals from the weekly adds??
Anything in the ad that has a price, or B1G1, is a “sale” item. If there are bucks deals, where it just says to spend an amount, or buy this or 2 of these, and the items are regular retail shelf price, then the % off will work.

I’m excited to see a few that are 3rr so u can roll back and forth. That means buying 2 toothbrushes and then transaction 2 use the 3 rr u got at 1.50 profit to buy the toothpaste and back and forth for as many as u want.

Ugh, this post just reminded me that I had Wag’s RRs in my coat pocket and they expired today!! $3 worth. Does anyone know if Wag’s will take RRs that are only one day expired? I know CVS takes expired Carebucks up to a week usually…
You can always ask. I’ve heard that some Wags will but I’ve got 2 next to my house and one will not take them and the cashier at the other store told me that it depends on which manager is on duty.

I’m trying to organize my transactions and I was wondering if I have 2 RR’s that were generated from the same product, Herbal essences for example, can I use them together to pay for a 3rd separate transaction? I have a question about Walgreens black Friday sale. The idems that will be free with the register rewards plus if I use a coupon that would be a moneymaker. Does Walgreens let you use overage on your receipt? They don’t do they?
If you buy something, say $5, and use a $1 coupon, you will pay $4 at the end of the transaction. When your receipt prints, your register reward catalina $5 coupon/ RR will also print. This is how you get the moneymaker items. The RR will be coupons to be used in a future purchase. hth. 🙂

I see that some of these deals were in this past Sunday’s sale flyer. For example the Tums Freshers. I’ve already gone to the store to buy that product and got my Register Reward. When I go back for this sale can I buy it again (not using this same RR) and get another RR? I think this has been answered above but I just want to make sure that I can do this.
Yes because Walgreen does not track what RR you have already gotten. you can only have 1 per transaction. You are right you can not use the RR to buy it again.

Yeah they start at midnight I called my 24 hours walgreens and they said yes.
yes the black friday deals start after midnight at the wags that are open 24 hours. but I would give the about 15 – to 30 min for the registers to get adjusted to the black friday prices.

O my goodness I got kicked out half way through my shipping trip @ Walgreens! I was there at 5 am so there were no customers, my first transaction started whit a paper-jam on my RR’s and manager had to cancel and I guess he did not like that I did 4 small transactions so I can get RR and pay for rest of my stuff so now I’m $100 out of pocket. Not a smart idea they have max of 4 transaction per person so pay one and use your RR on the next . Good luck!!!
