If you’ve placed an order with Kohl’s over the last couple of weeks (especially during Black Friday), be on the lookout for an email with the subject line “Important information about your kohls.com order“. Several readers have reported getting this email from Kohl’s with a FREE $25 code in it valid to use both online and in-store! This $25 credit is an apology for deliveries being late due to the weather. Sweet!

    I placed an order on the 3rd, and it says it shipped on the 5th, but has never arrived and the tracking information has never been updated, just states that the shipment information it was sent to them on 12/5…ugh! I emailed them and got an automated message back saying it could be up to 10-14 days until I get a reply…..double ugh!!! Guess I will have to call…..they may lose a customer for life….

      Similar situation with me. I called customer service and after 15 min. someone in the credit division picked up and said they couldn’t help me and they could transfer the call to customer service, but that calls got bounced to them because there was 250 people on line in the cue. So bad, I gave up!

    No such luck for me. I was upset they didn’t even tell me my order was canceled until two weeks after I ordered it and the last day it was suppose to arrive. Didn’t even think there was a problem and was patiently waiting for it. Now I know that things can be canceled by them way past the time I order. I had no idea.

    I didn’t get the e-mail. I just received an order for a robe yesterday. When I opened the box, it was a toddler bedding set. I called Customer Service. After waiting forever, they tell me the robe is out of stock and I have to take the bedding to the store. I believe they have outsourced their customer service. There’s one Christmas present that I will have to replace. Ugh!!

    Kohls.com has terrible customer service. I have had things canceled, delivered late, and I have received no help in trying to resolve the issues. I am very unhappy-used Kohls cash and coupons to purchase items. Seriously…how long should an order be in “fulfillment”?

      Agreed! They keep the order “In Fullfillment” forever. I’ve emailed them about several orders that didn’t arrive on time or didn’t have tracking info and they are very unhelpful.

    If you try to order online, it will take the $25 off and then the 15$. I had 29.xx of merchandise, which would have been 25.xx with 15% off, and then the $25 coupon would have been pennies. However, it said it was $4.xx because it took off the $25 and then 15% off of the remaining 4.xx.

    I also tried it on something 59.xx. I had free shipping (over $50) until I applied the $25, then I had to pay $8.95.

    Ridiculous. And they keep trying to charge me sales tax in NJ on baby clothes. There’s no tax on clothing here.

      Me, too! It says it arrived at the post office and to expect delivery in 3 days at 12 pm. Then at 3:19, it said it was delivered to addressee. Was not delivered to me.

        I’ve never ordered from khols but that happens to me when FedEx drops off amazon orders at the post office. It will say expect to be delivered in 1-2 days but then the same day says delivered, but it still doesn’t arrive for 1-2 days. In that case it’s a FedEx issue.

          I was hoping so. I live in an apt in a city and the packages come by separate trucks and my doorbell does not work. Landlord will not fix it, so I get a card to pick it up at the post office. *If* I get that card.. I use amazon locker to avoid that confusion. 🙂

    Got an apology email but no credit. And, when my order arrived today, FINALLY, one of the items was wrong! Ordered pj’s for my dad and the website and order confirmation both said they were flannel but what I got was cotton. Really annoyed!

    I placed an order awhile back And even received the confirmation email. Then 3 days later received another email saying item i had ordered were now out of stock and i would not receive the order. Customer service was no help, so i no longer shop at kohls. A bargain is nice but not worth a headache.

    Received the apology, but no credit! More than 2 weeks for shipping is ridiculous and not customer service oriented at all. One storm shouldn’t cause weeks of delays.

    I ordered the grill set for $3.99 and my boyfriend ordered the candy dispenser for $6 on a separate email. We have both received the emails for the $25 apology! So all together we have $50. Seems sweet because we only spent $10!!

    WOW!! THanks so much for sharing this, I had no idea I had this in my email!! I was able to purchase the meep x2 gift set for my 3 yr old for $58 shipped, plus I get $10 in Kohls cash, which makes it only $48!!! Not bad considering it was $200 originally! I think it will be perfect for my 3 yr old!! Thanks agian soooo much!!!

    yay i got one. good thing because i was getting seriously irritated because i placed an order like 3 weeks ago and only 1 out of the 8 things has even shipped, and even that one item isn’t gonna be here until late next week!

    Didn’t receive the email and still waiting for something I ordered two weeks ago to ship.

    If you look at their Facebook page there are hundreds of people who are still waiting weeks for things to ship, or see that their Christmas presents have been cancelled or shipped to the wrong address.

    Has Kohl’s always been this bad or is something going on with them?

    We have ordered A LOT from Kohl’s over the past month or so and I don’t think we have gotten this email. Recently, two whole orders were canceled which was super frustrating.

    We do have a friend who ordered a bunch of rebate stuff on Black Friday and they are still waiting on one item. Maybe they will get the $25!

    i called kohls today because my order was missing one item ( 3 items originally ordered and two had been received). They could not tell me wheere the 3rd item was which was the pair of boots for $19.99 . I placed this order on NOV 29. No apology about the SLOW shipping for the rest . The 2nd item was just received today. They told me this order was completed and I let them know I was still missing the boots. Still no apology. I was told that they would cancel the boot and when they became available, I could reorder them. Not for $79 dollars I won’t. I asked to speak to supervisor and then the next level and still no apology. I told her I would not be ordering again when they don’t even keep track of which items are shipped and which are still pending. I’m so mad because I ordered these for my daughter for Christmas and I would never heard a word from them if I hadn’t called today. BTW I was on the phone an hour with them trying to get this taken care of . They kept saying “no worries” that my money was secure. I told them that it was secure in their account and not mine and I didn’t have my item.

    I am a bit bummed I didn’t receive one. I ordered a couple pairs of boots for my son on December 4th and still haven’t received them and they are still “in Fullfillment.” I ordered some stuff the beginning of the school year and never received it and my credit card was charged months later for the items. I was highly upset with Kohl’s but understand things happen. They corrected it and returned the money to card, but it was still a pain in the rear. I had to call Fedex and then the post office because Kohl’s said on their records the items had been delivered. I was hoping that I would receive the boots by Monday when our family pictures are to be taken, but it doesn’t look like it.

    I ordered a pair of jeans for my son and they delivered them with the security tag still on them. I called CS and she said I have to take them to the store. No apology or nothing. I love Kohl’s deals but the customer service it not good:( I did get the grill sets the other day. They are nice for the price.

    I got the $25 and I appreciate that they sent that at least, but I have missing items and no idea when they will get here. Two canceled items. One of which I paid with kohls cash and I got an email saying the kohls cash would be credited back to my kohls cash. Problem is that once I used the kohls cash which I got in my email, I deleted it once it was used and expired. They haven’t issued me any new kohls cash so far. I really love Kohls and I have shopped with them for years but I am so disappointed and stressed by all of this. I need all of the missing items no later than Dec. 20th because of a Christmas exchange party and the others are going to a needy family and need to be turned in. I will have to go and replace the items. I don’t really have the money or time to do that. It has been so frustrating and I doubt I will ever shop kohls.com again.

    So I just left kohl’s and I’m so confused. I went in to exchange 4 items that I got online for about $45. I wanted to get $50 boots and pay the difference but the sales lady said since I bought 4 items online I needed to exchange it for exactly 4 items. Furthermore, she said I needed to find these items for the exact original value of the items online.

    Example: I got a duffle bag for $24 that was originally $60. She said for me to go find any item that was exactly $60.

    I’m so confused! I left cause it was so packed today. Can someone help me out? I’m not familiar with Kohl’s exchange policy. It seems they would be losing money if I got 4 items for the original value ($130 ).

          Amy, I think the associate at the store was correct. I’ve done many exchanges at Kohl’s and it works exactly as you said. You go by the original price of the item and you need to exchange it with another item that has that exact original price it can be anything in the store shoes appliances anything that’s in the store that has that original ticket price not the sale price. It can be very frustrating when you have an item that the original price is for example $27.99 and you need to find an item with that exact price on the ticket. And if you don’t exchange and return the item you lose the kohls cash, and it’s not even prorated. So annoying!

    I’ve placed 5 orders over the past 3 weeks. One of the orders has been waiting to be shipped since Dec. 1st. I received a partial order and they have no clue where the rest of it is. I ordered a dehydrator and it came with no wrapping or packaging. Just thrown in a big brown box. This is a gift so I called to complain. Customer service had me in hold for an hour and they told me I’d have to pay shipping to return the item. They just lost a family of 8 as shoppers!

    I placed two orders, one on Dec. 2 and one on Dec. 4th and I am still waiting on both. The first order was for Christmas gifts, and the second a winter coat for my husband who could use it now. I expected much better from Kohls since the customer service at my local store is great. Guess I should have went to the store instead! I got an e-mail saying shipments may be delayed because of bad weather, but no $25 credit. Has anyone who didn’t get the $25 e-mail tried contacting them and specifically asking for it because of the long wait?
