Here’s how it works…
* Head over here and register for a Shopmium account (remember to enter the code GHUEYUVP to snag a FREE Lindt Chocolate Bar!)
* Click on the Offers tab and browse through all the current offers. If you find a product you’d like to try, click on the product and then click on the pink “Discover This Product” button to find out specific information about which products are eligible and where you can find the product near you. My current offers include Smucker’s Fruit Spread, Ritz Bits, Burt’s Bees Lip Balm, Chobani Yogurt (one of my personal favorites! :D) and more!
* Head to your local store and purchase the eligible product (you can even click on the “Check Product Eligibility” button while in the store to scan the barcode of the item to confirm that it is indeed eligible!). And don’t forget to get a physical receipt from the store!
* Once you have purchased the item, go back to the offers tab, find the offer and then click the “Request My Rebate” button. You will then be prompted to scan the barcode of the purchased item AND to take a picture of the store receipt.
* Finally, you’ll get your rebate via Paypal! Easy Peasy! 😀

As an example, I used the Shopmium App last week to snag completely FREE M&M’s! That’s right – FREE Chocolate! First, I headed to Walgreens and purchased M&M’s Candies 1.63 oz that we on sale last week for $0.49. I’m a little confused on the wording’s offers: some say “get it for only $5”, others say “$1 off,” and others say
“$1 cash back.” Can you please explain the difference?
The ones that say get it for only $5 would be the difference in price given to you. So if you bought the shampoo for $6.99, you would get $1.99 cash back. hope that helps 🙂

Not to be a spoil sport but this site is considering after coupon prices for% off. For glade air freshner for example. I got it for 4.99-3$Mq. They considered final price 1.99 and since my offer was 20% back, have me .40, instead of 1$. On my husbands acct he had 3$ off, same product and they didn’t give me the money since I bought the same product at 2.99 on a diff reciept.
I like ibotta best of all. Checkout 51 works if u do it in the week but u do have to wait to hit 20$.

Anyone in the Chicago area if you shop at Jewel you can Buy 2 13oz Nutella’s on sale at 2 for $7.00 use the BOGO coupon from the 02-02-14 SS insert and pay $3.50 for both jars. Then use the shopmium app and submit for the $2.00 nutella rebate and your final OOP cost is only $1.50 for both jars.

I went out and purchased the Lindt chocolate bar and M&M candy and now I cannot upload my receipt thru the Shopmium app. Apparently many other Android users are having the same problem. I have the latest and greatest phone, so it’s not like my phone isn’t up to the task. The app is buggy and doesn’t work. 🙁

I have the same problem, can’t upload receipts for any of my purchases… I sent them an email and no reply yet, it’s been over 24 hrs… the app just takes pictures without stopping when I try to upload a receipt, then says error. 🙁 anyone been able to upload a receipt?
I did contact an got a mechanical reply. I shut my phone down and also reinstalled the app as they suggested. No go. They came back with the reply that they are working so that in a few weeks you will be able to upload 2 things from the same receipt. This is not even what I was doing. I am deleting the app. As far as I’m concerned this app / site does not work.

This app has some pretty bad feedback on Google Play store – tons of reviewers giving one star, saying the app won’t take picture properly, scan codes properly, etc – and it results in them not getting their refunds. Anyone have experience with this?

I’m not impressed at all so far! It’s just not very user friendly, takes a long time to get the money, says you can get a bank deposit but then you really can’t, and has confusing wording. I think I might hold off on using it anymore to see if I get my money.
I have some progress but it’s not quick or great. I purchased some items on 3/4 and now finally today the rebate is validated. Now it says it will be processed within 48 hours. That means from when I submitted it til getting the money will be 5 days if not longer. Also, on one of my items (Glade customizables) I expected to get $1.25 but only got .50 as it reduced the amount by the coupon I used. Ibotta & CHeckout 51 don’t do this. Not impressed.
