Hey ladies! Just wanted to let you know that this is an excellent product! I got one about 3 or 4 years ago when I first read about it on Hip2save and I love it!
I use this DAILY and highly recommend it! I highlight my hair and have naturally wavy/straight hair that’s unruly. It makes my hair look great and better than my $200 sedu or any chi I used. Not damaging at all either – can’t say enough good things about it!
I ordered this 2 years ago and It is still going strong! I don’t use it every day but at least 2 times a week, and I have fairly coarse curly hair. Love it! Highly recommend it!

Just a heads up for anyone who thinks about ordering this! It does get very hot, maybe to hot! It also pulled my hair very bad! After several months of using it a few times a week, my ends were soon dry, brittle and split like crazy! So it’s a good short term fix, if yours goes out or you only use a straightener once in a while. But definitely not for the everyday use! I will stick with my Chi or my GHD!!

I agree! I bought this a few years back and it was an okay straightener, but it always pulled at my hair. Then one of the plates cracked after about a year. I’ve had my Chi for over 3 years and it’s still on great shape. You definitely get what you pay for!
Try conditioning your hair with some coconut oil once a week it will bring shine and smoothness to your hair. I put around a fourth of a cup on my hair and leave for ten minutes and then wash out. It doesn’t not leave my hair greasy at all. Hope it helps I know it’s a little off topic.

I agreed, this straightener is the worst in my book. It pulled my hair and it goes rough and not smooth. I ordered it the last time and had to return them. I would rather pay extra for chi.

I ordered it a while ago then it was posted. It is not my favorite too. Doesn’t straighten well and it does damage hair.
Agree, worst straightener!! Pulls hair and does not glide smoothly. Bought it to give it a try as Amazon had good reviews. I have used Chi for years and buy Chi for my 2 daughters. I love the digital Chi.

Wow I have to say I am shocked that so many people are unhappy with this straightener! I LOVE this straightener. DID purchase products also made by them to help treat my hair. Essentially any item you use to use extreme heat on your hair can damage it, but I have not had this problem at all. I use the oils and heat control spray to help my hair. I definitely would recommend this straightener as it is totally worth the price! I have thick hair and I do very small pieces at a time to get a nice even finish. I am curious to know if others are using this straightener with any treatment products? Also, I never straighten my hair from wet to dry. I wonder if thats where people are saying it pulls? It has never pulled for me and has always left a nice even finish.

I received this as a gift and I have only used it a few times. The first few tries I was not impressed honestly. I have thick hair and even though this heats up well it did not really do as great as my Chi.
I love mine also and never pulls my hair. Maybe I just got a good one!

Omg! I’m shocked too. I have this and I love it. Only straightener that has ever got my hair straight as the salon can. I use no product in my hair ever and it always turns out perfect. I use it on my 9 year old too and it works awesome on her too.

I find it to be just ok. It straightens hair just fine. But I find it difficult to hold – something about its shape makes my hand hurt after each use. This never used to happen with my old straightener. So I wouldn’t really recommend it.
Also totally shocked! LOVE this straightener. I used Chis for many years and none have come close to working as well on my hair as this one. Hands down, best straightener I’ve ever owned.
I too bought this a year or two ago due to all of the positive reviews. I was super excited and then…super disappointed. The plates consistently snag my hair and I have to re-set my outlet before each use or it won’t turn on. Maybe I just got a dud? I wanted to like this – I really did but in my opinion, the cheapo straightener I bought from Ross works better.
