I love Orgain products! My son has many allergies and this is perfect for me to drink while Im nursing. No dairy, nut, soy, gluten and so on.

Awesome to hear that Amanda! 😀

We changed from Shakeology to this 2 months ago and are extremely pleased with it. We usually buy vanilla but will try chocolate this time since it’s less expensive.

^ Same as Amanda with the nursing issues! Thanks for sharing the deal!

      YW!

What is organic meal powder? I just bought the organic protein powder last night to try. I usually use UMP which I absolutely LOVE. So I’m just curious what meal powder is over protein powder. By the name, I’m assuming a meal replacement powder. But can’t you make the same with the protein powder? Just curious 😉 Thank you.

    • Sue

Based on the label it seems that it has more stuff in it than a typical protein powder (i.e. fruits and vegetables, chia seeds, sprouts, greens, etc). So I think it’s meant to be a more complete meal replacement instead of just a source of protein. HTH.

        Awesome thank you 🙂

I’m a dairy free nursing mama too but I haven’t been able to get past the taste. How do you all use it to hide the icky flavor (vanilla)?

    • Katy

Try adding a mejool date (make sure to pit it first) to sweet it up a little!

If you like peanut butter, i suggest adding some PB2 to it.

    • Jen

If you like peanut butter, i suggest adding some PB2 to it I find that it’s very sweet as it is.

^ Jenna – I’ve only had the chocolate which isn’t too bad. I have vanilla on the shelf, now not looking forward to it!

  7. Vivienne

    Is this vegan?

    • Sue

      Yes it is! HTH.

We love Orgain (and the story behind the founder is neat!) and their chocolate is delish, altho hubby likes the vanilla too! We just bought 2 big tubs of their protein powder at a race expo this weekend. YUM!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for the great feedback!

anyone have a suggestion on a brand to buy that I can feel ok about having my two picky eaters (3 and 5) drink with me. I would like to maybe have one without all the artificial sweeteners…. they tend to give me a headache and I don’t want that for my kids
