Anyone have trouble using the digital manufacturer coupons downloaded to their CVS card?? I tried yesterday and nothing came off for the coupons. And the cashier was very rude about it. I even asked for a manager and wouldn’t get them for me! I plan on calling CVS corporate tomorrow. I still want to do the deal with the coupons though so if anyone has any tips on how to get them to work, I would really appreciate it!

I am sorry that the cashier was so rude. I always send my coupons to card and they work at checkout just by scanning the card.
The best part is that sometimes I put the coupon on card and forget and am delightfully surprised at the check out.

The coupons I added to my cvs card are the digital coupons available on the cvs app. I am not sure if these are manufacturer coupons.

Jane and jaime please make sure that the card that you are uploading it to is the same as the one on your keychain or your app. I see it a lot when a person has 2 or 3 different card and don’t know which one is linked. Look at the last 4 digits on your app then figure out what the last 4 are when you get you receipt. 9/10 times a person has more than one card under their phone number and most cashier’s are too lazy to figure out which coupons go to which card. Last but not least make sure you look at the expiration date. The coupons that you receive though email only give you a couple days in which to load them. After that date it will not send them to your card no matter how many times you try. This is all coming from an employee of cvs and as an extreme couponder myself.

It happened to me last week and the guy behind the counter was rude but I made him go right down the list on the screen call cvs main operations and let them know

After adding the coupon for personal care to my CVS card, I tried two different times to use the coupon but the value of the coupon would not apply to my purchase. The cashier did not know why the coupon would not work.

Personal care intend are more like tampons, pads, incontinence items, pregnancy tests and the such… not hair products. I am a cvs cashier…

They would not come off my purchase, however the cashier could see the coupon was loaded on my card and checked that I indeed purchased the item and so she applied the amount of coupon.

I’m actually very surprised at the number of coupons CVS allows you to use for a single item. Last week I used 2 coupons on my card and 1 paper coupon for a $28 box of Nexium plus they gave me $5 EB. End cost was $3. I never had a problem with CVS and coupons. Love them.

Cvs is getting worse with their new polices. I have been having problems for over 6 months my card and phone number doesn’t work at the coupon Center. I have called CvS many times on this matter. I have been told that they have reset it. And other times I’ve been told they can’t figure out what the problem is. They don’t even figure out that sometimes they have weekly specials that you have to get the coupon from the counter and you can’t load it to your card. The people know me and therefore going for many years to the same one. Cannot help me out because they took the coupon key away from the managers so they cannot adjust anything. Even the store made call for my issue even the cashier’s to try to help me. I just find it a shame that they don’t care about their customers anymore corporate.
