New weight watchers program deal – Weight Watchers Zero point foods

If you’ve tried the old Weight Watchers program in the past and are curious about how it works now, it’s simple! The new WW Freestyle program makes it easier to keep track of SmartPoints since there are NO foods that are off limits, as long as they fit within your daily SmartPoints allowance.

That means you can still enjoy foods like pizza, cake, ice cream, chocolate, and more in moderation! Plus, so many healthy foods, like eggs, Greek yogurt, and chicken breast have ZERO points! 😱

I am loving the new program!! Down almost 40lbs since June! Also, check with your insurance companies, y’all. Many will cover WW. Mine does!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WOW!! That’s awesome! Congrats on your weight loss! 🙌

  2. Amy

I’ve been with weight watchers for several years and this is by far my favorite program!

Wish I liked it! Lost 60lbs with WW and now, nothing! Been stuck for months. Tried everything!! Aarrggh!

    • Jsturner1

How long have you been on a plateau? 60 pounds is amazing! If you can manage to hold it off for a bit and let your body get used to your new weight that’s actually really good for you. But I also realize that it’s so frustrating to not see progress.

Is there monthly fees to use this app?

    • Jo28p

It’s l included with the monthly membership fee.

  5. Sarah

I started 4 weeks ago and have lost 6lbs. SUPER EASY. Very good balance. You aren’t starving yourself! You should try it.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing with us, Sarah! Good to know how easy it has been for you so far!

  6. Deb

Anyone that has to be gluten free try WW? How did it go?

  7. Amy

Totally recommend trying WW – joined in May 2018 when hip2save posted deal to join and have lost almost 50 pounds. I do the online only option. I have more to loose but this was just the jump start I needed! It’s an amazing program- if you follow it 🙂 and there is a lot of flexibility in what you can eat and how you balance what u eat and track.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Wow! That’s amazing! Thanks a ton for sharing your success with us! Congrats!

You can also check and see if your employer/health insurance offers a discount for WW or Real Appeal (which is similar to WW). I’ve used Real Appeal since late July and am down 15lbs. It is totally free though my employers. There is a web site where you track your food (or an app). It also includes weekly group sessions with a coach and you can meet with them one-on-one.

Love WW! If you join get on a Facebook group for WW. So much help there!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for the helpful tip!

  10. Nicole Z.

I hate the new program. I am a 20 year member of WW. I gained back 13 pounds that I lost in 2015. I think it’s great if you have 25+ pounds to lose, but really hard if you are on maintenance or close to goal. If you like the old, pre-Freestyle programs, you can select those programs on the iTrackBites or ProTracker apps. They are both under $30 for the entire year. Hope that helps someone.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh darn! Thanks a bunch for the honest feedback. Sorry to hear you did not care for the new program.

    • Kris

I agree, Nicole! I started on WW almost 10 years ago and lost 30 lbs within months. Have been a lifetime member ever since and I’m really struggling to maintain with the freestyle program. Honestly, the original Points (pre-Points Plus, Smart Points, Freestyle) worked best for me. It’s all disappointing because I really love the concept of the freestyle program.

      • Sjerry

Kris why don’t you do what I do- just follow the plan that worked for you. I’ve been doing the original points plan plan for years both for maintaining and for losing a couple. I am very happy doing that as it always works for me and I don’t feel that I missing out on anything. No reason for me to change

  11. Skeltonian

What is the deal? The 30%? If it is the gift cards how do you get it?

  12. Bev

I’ve been using just the WW app for 6 months and I’m down 57 lbs! I feel so much better, physically and mentally! So worth it!
