Don't miss a beat this Black Friday! Bookmark this page!In all the years I have been blogging, I must admit that the Black Friday online deals have not been very impressive this year. It seems like the deals that happened on Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving) of this week were better than the deals posted today, 11/23, Black Friday. 🤔 However, our teams did have two TOP picks from today…

In addition, we’re gearing up for Cyber Monday and keeping our fingers crossed that the deals will be much better than today’s deals so that we can get our holiday shopping done! 🤞🏻 And don’t forget that our team will be posting deals 24/7 through Cyber Monday to bring you all the latest deals!

Speaking of deals, have you scored any awesome Black Friday deals, either online or in-store? If so, we want to hear ALL about them! On the flip side, I have also received several emails from readers who are searching for the best deals on certain items and looking for tips and tricks on how to save the most. SO…

Let’s help each other out – that’s what Hip2Save is all about!

If you have a great deal or bargain that you’ve snagged today or this Black Friday week, please share it in the comments below. If you’re looking for a specific item or deal, please mention it below and hopefully another Hip2Save reader will come to the rescue!

Thanks all!

  4. Janelle

I got a pair of short black ankle boots that are super cute at Kohl’s. Regularly $49.99 – on sale for $19.99 – used 15% off coupon and $10 gift coupon (not kohl’s cash!) – boots were $9!!! 🙌

  5. Karina

I agree. I felt that today’s deals were not super hot as previous days and years. However, I was able to score some pretty good deals for me, my family, and extended family that is visiting this Christmas. I got the Hulu subscription, I bought the 23 and me DNA test from Target and got $10 back and a 20% off coupon for future purchases. I bought myself the instant pot ultra 10 in 1 at Kohls. Yeah! This is not counting all the toys, clothes, and other presents I was able to buy this week. And all is thanks to you Hip2Save. Thank you for being such an amazing team.

  9. Elaine

I had fun at Ulta! I used my $10 off at Kohls so I only paid $4.52 for 3 clothing items and earned Kohls cash on other purchases. Petsmart had good treat deals for my furbabies. Bought quite a few games between Target and Amazon. I am looking for a deal on a sound machine and PS 4 cyber Monday!

  10. Laura

Thank you Hip2Save team. With your help, I shopped throughout the year. I have great gifts for my family and awesome things to donate to students and families in my school system. I picked up a few Black Friday deals, but your daily advice and ideas have had a huge impact! Merry Christmas to all!

I just came back on here to thank the lady that said she found a $12 Magnolia wreath at Kirkland’s. I don’t see her comment on here anymore. But because of it i was able to score the wreath deal also!

    • rc6377

Thanks for post – I just went & got 1 myself!!!

    • Jen

How so you get around the shipping cost at kirkland?

      • Tabitha

You can pick it up in store.

  14. Allison

Our Walmart slashed several BF prices in half by 9pm Thursday night- the shark vacuum was $40, hot wheels garage $40, 900 piece legos $10, tasty cookware set with a google home mini $50, Melissa and Doug floor puzzles $2, Rubbermaid 36 piece Tupperware’s $3, and so much more, it was just insane! I’d never seen anything like it.

    • CBE

Hot wheels garage for $40! Man wish I would have grabbed up that one! My 6 yr old keeps asking but I’m not spending $100+!

    • Amy

Holy cow, that’s awesome! Right place, right time.

  15. Amanda Hedde

So my best Black Friday deal was kinda unexpected. I did most of my shopping in the days leading up to Black Friday. So I realized Thursday late evening that nothing jumped out at me. So I went to bed and was woke by my husband at 5 am. He said he had something he really wanted. We got to Woodman’s and waited in line (wait for it) in their liquor section. There was about 40 people. We ended getting 8 goose island imperial stout vanilla. Apparently it’s hard to get. We got it at face value. Who would have thought thats what I would do Black Friday.

    • Kelly

Wednesday night I ended up finding the limited release Canadian Breakfast stout my husband wanted that’s made by Founders Brewery…didn’t know it’d be $25 a bottle…but it’s all he’s been asking for. I hear ya!

  16. Meg

2favorite deals were a PS4 controller for $25 and a boys winter puffer coat for $8.50!

  17. CarrieL

Honest Beauty is 30% off with coupon on Amazon right now. Also got the $29 Kindle Fire at Target.

  18. Jenny

I’ve been dealing with anxiety and PTSD for a number of years and my therapist recommended a weighted blanket. I was super pumped about getting the one from Kohl’s. Mom stayed up till midnight to be able to order it and they were already sold out 🙁 We were able to get one from Target. Since it can’t be washed Mom will be making a duvet cover for it. (She already gave me the blanket so I could try it out.) It seems to be helping.

    • mary

awesome – i cant wait to hear if this helps you – your mom sounds pretty smart! good luck

  19. CBE

Oh yeah! And crayola 40% off At Michaels. Here’s how Black Friday works for my mom and sisters: we get a lot of Christmas shopping and just enjoy our time together! Sometimes we get great deals, sometimes we don’t. We truly just enjoy this one specific day that we just spend all day together going along with one another and enjoying each other’s company!

  20. Another Shelly

I scored 17 oz. candles at Michaels for $1.50 each. They were doorbusters priced at $2 each and Michaels offered a coupon for an additional 25% off sale items. Great neighbor gifts.

  21. Jasmin

    2 great deals.
    #1 – CVS 23andMe 29.99 and received 29.99 ExtraBucks Rewards. Final price = Free

    #2 – Kohl’s Fitbit Versa 149.99 with $45 Kohl’s cash. Final price 109.99

    • Karen

Do you know if the 23andme deal is just for today?

      • Melissa S

The 23 and me deal is just the kit, they charge over $100 to send it away to do the testing, just in case anyone doesn’t know

    • Mary

I somehow find it creepy that they want our DNA sample so bad they will test us for free.

  22. Cheri

I got a great deal on a Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit Tracfone reg. $149.99, for $64.99 from Best Buy…plus I had a $10 reward and free shipping!

  23. Lori

    The naked heat palette

  24. Michelle From Minnesota

I found the best deal at silhouetteamerica.com. They have 50% off everything on their site including clearance items. I bought a bunch of heat transfer vinyl for around ) $1 per foot. Great deal. I love having supplies on hand for DIY projects.

  25. Lacey

Lots of random things. All done online.
    Nordstrom Rack: Birkenstocks for $13
Amazon: BabyGanics diapers $8, hand sanitizer $3.16, surface wipes $2.75
    Sperry: Duck Boots $55
    QVC: ManEater Mascara 2-pack $20

    • Lacey

Also got the Echo Dot for free through Amazon (with the Audible deal). I subscribed & then cancelled right away. The package has already been delivered & didn’t pay a penny!

      • Mchouinard

How did this work? I looked on Amazon but can’t find it. Thanks!

        • Lacey

I believe it’s a dead deal now. All you had to do was subscribe to Audible (which was $6.99 I believe) & then could cancel anytime. Your account was automatically credited the amount of the Echo. I immediately purchased the Echo & once the order was submitted, I cancelled my subscription.

    • Liz

What size did you get for diapers to get $8 total?

      • Lacey

Size 4. I was able to place multiple orders. The coupons were working more than once.

    • Vero

      What birkenstocks did you get?!?

      • Lacey

I’ll have to check the exact style – they were almost sold out when I ordered them (this was earlier this morning).

  26. Elizabeth

$500 from Best buy for the pixel 3

  27. Dipthi

Lenovo chromebook from bestbuy for 179$ was so good and worth for that price
    Loved it

  28. lexi

Mine was a tube for boating on Amazon. regularly $240+ and I got it for $60. Now just waiting for summer! I also enjoy stocking up on some movies at great prices every year for Black Friday

  29. Amy B

I got a great deal at Staples. I bought my daughter an HP Sprocket printer and photo paper combo on BJ’s online on Thanksgiving day. I was then able to pick up at Staples today 2 extra 20 count packs of the Zink photo paper that’s used with the sprocket for free. The price is normally $9.99 and was on sale buy one get one free. I used a $10 off $10 purchase coupon I had received in the mail many days before on this purchase which made the paper FREE 😊

  30. Elaine

Is anyone else having issues seeing comments on the app? I’m limited to like 40 comments it seems, so on popular posts I’m unable to view them all.

    • crissy

      I’ve been having the same problem…. 🙁

    • Andrea

      I’m having the same problem

    • Lacey

      Same problem. It’s very frustrating!

    • Michelle

Me too. Can only view 40.

    • Lori

Thought it was just my new phone. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.

      • hip2trade

        Same here…

  31. Heidi

My best deal was on the Ting website. Ting has their phones on sale for black Friday. The iPhone 7 (new and unlocked) was $449. Ting then give you $300 back over the year for buying the phone from them. They also have the iPhone 7 plus, a Google phone and a Moto phone.

  32. Elizabeth

The Sears ad has a great deal. Shop your way members can text STUFFING or TURKEY to 73277 and get $15 in free cash surprise points to use in store. Points don’t expire until 11/25 and can be used on clothing, tools, toys, houseware and shoes. Both my husband and I got free $30 worth of free Christmas gifts.

    • Kim

      Thanks for mentioning this!

  33. Pam K

The audible subscription with the free echo dot. Didn’t buy anything today. The fitbit versa at Kohl’s. Had a lot all ready purchased. Thanks for all the H2S staff for all the tips through out the year.

  34. Amy

I bought a keurig for my mother for $67 at Kohls. Ii also get $15 in Kohls cash. It was on sale for 79.99 at other stores, so I was very happy with this deal! Thanks for all that you do on black friday and throughout the year!

  35. Carolyn

SOOO upset- my son had his PS4 order from Kohls canceled today at 6:30 PM- even though he ordered it at 12:10 AM YESTERDAY! They sent him the Kohls cash this morning and then canceled the order- ALMOST 2 DAYS LATER! Even worse- THE EXACT SAME THING happened to me last year- SAME ITEM!! Kohls is running a scam- I used to be a loyal Kohls shopper, but this family is DONE!

    • Emily

I think you should still get the Kohl’s cash so try. I’ve been super frustrated before with them cancelling orders. Mine had to do with them thinking it was fraud which where I was shopping from I think. But still frustrating.

    • Melissa S

Try to call them and talk with manager at the store near you also, sorry that happened, keep trying!

  36. Chris

Two awesome deals for my kids were at Walmart and Crazy 8: My kids are obsessed with Funko Pop. I found 5 Christmas movies that included Funko Pop keychains (Christmas Story, both Grinch movies, Christmas Vacation, and a Peanuts 3 movie collection). They were labeled $19.95- $24.99. They rang up $3.95 and $5.95. I bought 2 shirts from Crazy 8 that scanned $1.99, regularly $19.95. They were offering an additional 50% off.
For me: The Alex & Ani 25% off and free shipping. I bought a few bracelets.
Also, the Amazon Echo buttons for $13.99.

    • Sunny

My brother in law loves those pops. Where did you find them with the movies? Walmart? Thanks

      • Chris

Yes, they were at Walmart or that price. I found them where the regular priced movies are. Not in the Black Friday sales bins. I only saw the 5 I listed. Please reply if you find other titles.
The cartoon Grinch movie comes with his dog, the other movie has the Grinch, Christmas Story has Ralph in his bunny pjs, Peanuts with Snoopy, and I think Clark is with Christmas Vacation (I already wrapped them up and can’t recall that one).

        • L

Wow! I saw these at Walmart will have to go and check the price. Can’t we check on brickseek or something if we have the numbers from them?

  37. Kayjayc

I have really been wanting a Dslr camera. I got it at Kohls for $400 (regularly $750, I believe). I got $120 in Kohl’s cash back, 400 yes points which will become another $20 in Kohl’s cash, and $5 in Kohl’s cash for selecting slower shipping. Pair that with 6% back through ebates, and I will effectively have gotten it for about $230.

  38. Melissa

I took advantage of the IKEA $25 off of $100 offer and bought several gift items that totaled a little over $100. The main item I purchased was on sale for 25% off, so it was a good deal already before taking the $25 off of my purchase.

  39. Laura

My favorite deal- the Galaxy S9 at Amazon for only $375. They had Amazon Warehouse (damaged packaging) ones for 10% off and then a bunch of Amazon Warehouse stuff was an extra 20% off, the phone included. That’s this year’s model and was on sale for $520 everywhere else.

My least favorite deal was the iPad mini. I ordered it from Best Buy and with how they shipped it and since I live APO, I’m 90% sure it won’t be here in time for Christmas and that’s all I was getting my daughter for Christmas. Luckily she’ll have some things from the grandparents to open.

  40. Ami

My favorite deal is unadvertised and I happened to stumble upon it. I found Mario Kart 8 on Walmart.com for 45.00 for the switch. This game is never on sale! Everywhere is around 60.00, so it’s a steal. Not sure it’s even a Black Friday discount either.

  41. Emily

Wasn’t planning on Black Friday shopping but met some friends an hour away in a cute downtown. While we were waiting for them I ducked into a mast general store and all their clearance shoes were super discounted. $20 chacos (regularly$120!) $5 kids Crocs, and $5 kids Birkenstocks! I told my husband I was pretty sure they lost money on me. We also found a like new KitchenAid pasta maker at a thrift store for $20 and a pair of new North face boots for $4. I was excited for all my finds!

  42. porsha

I found a 30 dollars men wallet for 3.00 at Kohls

  43. Christina

I went to Lowes this morning got 15 poinsettas for .50 each for teacher gifts. Yesterday Lenovo had several deals on laptops, picked up 2 different ones for $300. Fitbit Versa for $139 at Cosco.

  44. Christina Isenhower

Pogo Pass in San Antonio was only $30 for one year! We got it last summer for me and the kids and got into laser tag, the aquarium, splashtown, the zoo, trampoline parks and pump it up. They are in San Antonio, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Kansas City. Please use my email as your referral. Christina@isenhowers.com

  45. Rebekah

I got a Hasbro Cootie game at Sears for $6.99 (currently $14.99 on Amazon), with $6.99 back in Shop Your Way points.

  46. Dute

4,000/3,500-Watt Dual Fuel Powered Portable Generator, Runs on LPG or Regular Gasoline… Just $250 and free shipping from Home Depot.

  47. Dayna

I got a much needed winter coat at jcp for only $10 after my coupon! There wasn’t even a sign next to it, so I wasn’t sure if it was in sale… Got a price check and sure enough it was on sale!

  48. Veronica

Not Gap.com!! 😆 “50% of Everything No Exclusions”…… In small writing on another page “Excludes Doorbusters”. I got a lot of good deals on H & M for the kiddos though!

  49. Ashley

Kicking myself that I forgot about Ebates but did some shopping for my daughter, my second baby due next year and myself. Saved over 50% at Gap and Old Navy, got Oshkosh fleece for around $5 and shoes for my daughter for $12.

We then went to Cabela’s and got her free Santa Photo, a free craft kit, and a stocking stuffer marked down to a little over $3 from $9.99 originally! We finished the day off and used a free burger I had at Red Robin! Oh and we did the $400 off a new phone at Verizon. Lots to enjoy!

  50. Liz

    I cant see comments;(
