What To Buy For The Guy Who Has It All - Hot Sauce Challenge Kit

Men aren’t the easiest group to buy for. I can’t tell you how often I hear, “Well, if I want something, I just go get it.” 🙄 For even those who’ve got it all, we’ve come up with great gifts we think any man would love this year. Read on for the ultimate gift guide for the men in your life!

1. Travel tumbler

💰💰💰: Yeti 30oz. tumbler
💰💰: Smart 30oz. tumbler
💰: Ozark Trail 30oz. tumbler

We’ve all been there… you made a fresh cup of joe, took a few sips, and totally forgot about it – only to remember it after your coffee’s gone cold! A tumbler is a gift anyone would appreciate having! There’s nothing like a warm cup of coffee or tea to start your day that actually stays hot when you’re on the go! They’re even multifunctional, with the ability to keep drinks cold during the hot, summer months!

While Yeti products are great and known for their durability, we are so impressed with how Ozark Trail stacks up against the much more expensive Yeti brand. We even tested the two tumblers side by side, and – not to spoil the surprise – but Ozark won our ice test! Not bad at 80% less than the Yeti!

Hip Tip: Need some gifting inspiration for a tumbler? Head over and check out these fun ways to make a tumbler gift basket!

2. Pajamas

💰💰💰: L.L.Bean flannel pajamas
💰💰: Club Room flannel pajamas
💰: Stafford flannel pajamas

Regardless of age, guys need a cozy pair of pajamas! And if your guy is anything like mine, he loves getting in his comfy clothes after a long day at work. Flannel pajamas are the perfect material for cozying up in the winter, so we think these timeless collared plaid sets are sure to win over his heart and keep him warm!

3. Man Crates

Surprise boxes are a huge trend nowadays, and I love how unique and unexpected they are, which makes gifting them even more fun! Man Crates delivers his favorite foods, gear, and manly essentials right to his door. What man wouldn’t crave this?

Can’t see the video? Click here to watch the video on Youtube!

They have fun themed boxes such as the Bacon Crate, which we tried out for ourselves. Check out the video above where Collin unboxes her Bacon Crate for the first time! It features a wide assortment of awesome bacon-enhanced snacks, from the obvious popcorn flavors to the exotic Sir Francis Bacon Peanut Brittle. If bacon is not your thing, there are so many more themed options to choose from!

All their crates come packaged in a high-quality sealed wooden crate with a swanky, laser-etched crowbar. The packaging is so nice, you could just slap a big red bow on it and call it a day! We think you’ll be bragging about this gift-giving for years to come, like these ladies:

“I bought this for my husband (hard to buy for husband) and he loved it!!!! Can’t wait till next holiday, I already know what I’m buying!!” – Laura

“I love the concept of the Man Crates, so I purchased the bacon crate for my boyfriend. Package and contents far exceeded my expectations. Bacon jerky was very good and flavorful. He finished the popcorn in one day! And we used the seasoning on our wings last night! I will purchase more for special occasions!” – Michelle

Love the hot hands! I keep those and therma care heat wraps in our cars all winter in case we stall or come upon someone who needs help. Too dangerous to travel in the cold without gear! They are a great gift for just about anyone…

I love to do big bags of jerky for the bus driver!

    • Carrie

I had never seen these before until my husband was in an accident during a snow storm. Someone stopped and gave him these to keep him warm while waiting for police, etc. You really never know when you may need them, great idea!

  2. Jennifer

Experiences from Groupon or LivingSocial like a golfing or a local activity.

  3. dashofnutmegs

This is a great list! Normally lists I have found are cheesy or mainly have things for the suit and tie, white collared man (like a metal etched money clip. What country boy is going to whip one of those out at Walmart??). This covers a good spectrum. Big thanks!

    • dashofnutmegs

Oh and the price points are a huge plus! Makes the searches and decisions a lot faster!

    • shellyshel

      Yes… agreed!

  4. Dawn1029

This year I got some 12 Days of Socks from Target & JC Penney…Rick and Morty for my brother and Game of Thrones for my brother in law 🙂

    • shop4mybabies

i did nickelodean for my 30 year old cousin, i think he’ll love them

  5. Suzanne

Great ideas! I may have to get a couple of those crates for the hard to buy for guys in the family.

  6. Ashley

Beer of the month club and wine delivery are good also. It’s the gift that keeps coming throughout the year! Under the tree I wrap the subscription info with a koozie or bottle opener, that way there is still a “gift” on Christmas Day!

    • Urvi

Love the beer of the month idea but I’m always afraid of paying for the convenience instead of the quality of the beer. I have no idea which one to get.
      Any recommendations?

      • Jennifer

World Market has beers from all over the world, especially this season. Sometimes they have tastings. We have a local brewery that bottles and cans their own brews. You could make your own crate/tub/basket.

    • Joyce

I wanted to do the beer of the month club for my husband. Unfortunately, the state of Utah doesn’t allow it. Total party poopers!

  7. Jill

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Jill!

  8. Ashley

Love the ManCrate idea, just wish they had better prices or a promo code. I was eyeballing the Ramen pack for one of my bosses, but I just can’t justify $55 for Ramen. No matter how cool the packaging and accoutrement are.

  9. GisMom

This seemed like a good place to post this- the Kohls Remington razor that was a *HOT deal on Veterans day is being offered again with a $50 rebate. Probably not as good of a deal as it had been, however, still a good price after the rebate.

    • GisMom

My error- the rebate was only good through 11/28 🙁 Sorry for the confusion!

  10. Christi + S

I LOVE this guide! Would love to see more like it 🙂 Thanks Collin and Team!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You are SO welcome! Thanks for the feedback! Be sure to check out the other Gift Guides listed in the bottom of the post! Also, stay tuned for more!

  11. Alaina

I have gotten my husband a man crate before. It was great quality products. He loved making his own pocket knife. It kept him occupied too. He was off of work for a long time due to being hit my a car. It is a little higher price point but he deserves to be spoiled too. You could also use their ideas for gift baskets and buy the items yourself if you want a cheaper route

  12. Mel

This isn’t exclusively a man gift, but I have had a lot of luck with the mini NES classic and mini SNES classic as gifts for the guys I know. It’s nostalgic for my age group and the younger ones like it for the retro feel. Both are a good value for the games included.

  13. Lana

HELP! Ideas needed for an 80 year old man whose main hobby is napping in his recliner.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

LOL! My dad has enjoyed that hobby from time to time. Recently my mom bought him a cute small stand for next to his chair. On that stand he now has a “remote organizer“and a nice coaster for his coffee mug. I think he may even have a small salt lamp there now as well. Hoping that helps!

  14. Patricia

Thanks so much for the ideas! I ordered my son the Bacon Crate and got my husband the Good Hurt hot sauce set. I also ordered my son a wireless phone charger. I appreciate all of the great ideas!

  15. Amy

I got a beef jerky Man Crate for my fiance a couple years ago. I think they’re a little pricey for what you get, but he really enjoyed it. He kept the crate and used hinges to fasten the top and now it’s a little trinket box in the living room.

  16. Amy

And another thing, if your guy likes to fish a Mystery Tackle Box subscription is a great gift. My fiance said it was like Christmas every month. He used to get so excited when it arrived. Lol. The subscriptions are very reasonable too. If I remember correctly, a 6 month subscription was cheaper than 1 Man Crate.
