Kind of off topic, but did anyone else get an email from Macy’s saying they fraudulently used the coupon from that promotion that was posted about the other day? You know, the scratch and win game? I played that one time and won a $10 coupon, used it the day the promotion started on 12/13 to buy a carters jumpsuit for $10 and a charcoal mask for $3 so I could get free shipping. Total was $13.18 and only $3.18 after coupon was applied. I got an email yesterday saying I fraudulently used the coupon and broke the terms of service so they cancelled my order. I did absolutely NOTHING wrong. Macy’s will never be getting my business again after accusing me of fraud with no leg to stand on. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I got the same email! I was so mad, I called them and asked what that was about. I was told that they would do an investigation and get back to me within 24 hours. My email stated that I entered the code multiple times and that was in violation of the rules. I had to enter it several times because some of the items that were in my cart did not qualify! I wanted to find a item that was. It doesn’t mean I used it several times. I only used it for one purchase.. It also states that they’ll be monitoring my account for unusual activity. I was so mad, this is a game that they put out for us to use. They should not be accusing people of doing something wrong. Maybe more people received the same email because it was computer generated?
I got the email as well and I had only used the code once too. Luckily my order already came! But I was super annoyed to receive that because I didn’t do anything wrong either. That’s actually the reason I ordered the Fitbit on this post from amazon instead!
I think the people who used many different codes ruined it for the rest of us us who played the game and followed the rules…..very frustrating.
I got the same email as well! This is what it said:
Macys has reviewed your order activity and determined that you entered coupon codes generated from our recent Macy’s 12/10 Green Monday Savings Event multiple times in violation of the game rules limiting each household to one winning code. For that reason, we will be cancelling your orders placed using those coupon codes. We further will continue to monitor your purchases for unusual activity.
I only placed one order using one code. Makes me so mad that they are threatening to “watch my account” from now on. Well they don’t need to worry about that because I will NEVER shop there again.
Same! That’s exactly what it said. I wrote a nasty reply back and told them they lost me as a customer. I used that code legitimately and they are straight up accusing me of fraud. I was so angry but figured they must have had people ordering low cost items and it made them mad. But seriously, don’t offer the coupon if they don’t want people to use it. Ridiculous way of doing business in my opinion.

Does anyone know for sure that the ones from Macy’s are guaranteed delivered by Christmas? All three products are “shipped direct from vendor” and if you look at Macy’s chart for Christmas deliveries it says direct From vendor items typically ship in 1-3 business days and take up to 3-6 additional business days to be delivered. Great deal but if you’re looking for it to be delivered by Christmas, I’d be a bit hesitant to order.
Mine said it would. Then, when I got the order confirmation it had an estimated ship date of 1/02/19.

I did the same thing. I haven’t opened mine (it’s my Christmas present) so I reordered through Amazon and I’ll be physically taking back the one I bought from Kohls to the store with the receipt. If you haven’t opened it, that’s probably your best option.

I scored one, but was hoping you all would help talk me into keeping it. I bought a $20 tracker from Amazon that lets me receive texts and has a watch and step counter (these are the main functions I care about). The app for it is terrible. I workout (weight lifting, areobics, yoga) and would like to track that, but the cheapo one doesn’t have that at all. I’m trying to think of any other relavant info. My cheapo has a pretty bad interface for messages (they are hard to read and only partial.) Any thoughts would be super helpful!

It was not sold out when I was in-store. Just pulled up the item on the Amazon app and showed the price and where it said “sold and shipped by Amazon.” I was in and out in about 8 min. It was definitely close, price had changed by the time I got back home (a 6 min drive).
