Deal Seeking Mom posted about this a few days ago and then I read the reviews. Some people said they give you $45 in coupons and that it’s a scam. Others said they got the $45 off at their 1st purchase. I wonder if a certain state(s) are giving only coupons.
Still waiting for my $45 after visiting the store and making 3 purchases. First was at the perfume counter, and also regular cashier. Was told had to be one purchase of $45. Made a second trip and made a $49 purchase. Still no credit. Been on the phone with someone in the Philippines for 1 he, couldn’t understand her, put on whole many times, no resolution, finally hung up. This has been going on since 11/11/2020. No you don’t get alerted. But it’s available right away.
It’s available right away – I did an order for pick up after signing up online and it came right off!
I was told that for the $45 to come off, you need to use the scan-and-go through the Sams app. I downloaded the Sams app in store, scanned all my items and the $45 was applied automatically. So simple and I can’t believe I haven’t used the scan feature in the app.

I signed up about a week ago. If you sign up online via the emailed link you don’t need to put in a promo code. The promo code is only needed if you go in-store to sign up. I received my $45 off when I picked up my online order the next day.

I went to the store because I couldn’t find a spot on the website to enter in the activation code. I was told that it had to be processed in store.
I did this last Friday online and the $45 never went on my account. Customer service in store was horrible. I had 1 online chat, 2 phone calls, and 2 emails in when they finally just gave me a $45 gift card for it. Headache! The last person I spoke with yesterday, who resolved it, got it done in about 2 minutes, she seemed like she was well aware of issues with it and didn’t even question it just said let me get this approved and we’ll be done. Apparently there have been many issues with this.

Easy breezy, I just did this last night in store. I missed out on the extra 3 months when my local store closed so I held out on renewing my membership. I shopped for my items which come to a little over $50. I went to customer service used the code from the email paid for my membership and then she rung me up paid the $6 balance after the $45 came off. WIN, WIN for me.

So this didn’t work out so fabulous for me. I went to the store in Roseville, Mi and bought my membership showing the emailed code easy peasy. Was told the $45 would come off automatically at checkout like described in an earlier comment. So I proceeded to shop & spent $240, but $45 did NOT come off. A manager was brought over and after some back & forth she discovered that the deal does state in the fine print that there is a delay of up to 72 hours for the savings to be loaded to your account. I see that now that I read over this post more carefully here as well, but I wanted to point this out to help avoid confusion for anyone else.
I did this today and it worked great. The associate in the store told me that the 45 dollars off will not work on sale or clearance items. That could be why it didn’t work for some people.

My sister and I each did this today and it worked smoothly. We used the scan and go app and it deducted right off and we paid only balance. We also got $10 gift card for signing up in store and a free take and bake pizza. Is this a PLUS membership or Standard?
I am considering doing the offer and $45 is the standard membership. This is also what shows in the email they sent with the code. Am wondering though if I can do this deal and then upgrade to the Plus? Hate to spend $100 if I could get get Plus for a net of $55.
We wanted to get a 4 piece garage storage set from Sam’s online. Needed Plus to get the free shipping, which would save about $72. Used the link to get the $45 membership with the $45 back. Next, went into account online for the new membership and upgraded to Plus for additional $55. Decided to go ahead and order 2 of the pieces because the site said there were only 2 left. The $45 was credited on that order! Less than 2 hours had gone by from when I created the membership! Sam’s had sent me a $5 ecard for joining/upgrading so I used that on my order for the other 2 items.
