Check out how much readers love this hair dryer…

I’ve had this dryer for a year and it’s amazing. Use a heat-protectant spray before applying any heat to your hair and use it on the Low setting, if you want to avoid high heat. On Low it isn’t loud at all and I don’t find it heavy either. It’s so much faster and easier than traditional blow-drying! And this is coming from someone w/ very thick, long hair…my entire head goes from damp to perfectly dry and styled in well under 10 min, if even that! I do go over some places w/ a flat iron after, but my hair is quite curly so that’s to be expected.

I love mine too just like the rest of you. My hair is shoulder length, thick, and frizzy. It does a great job of drying and styling. I highly recommend it for ANY type of hair. I paid full price and it was worth it.

I love this!!! I have long straight thick hair and it works well with it. The best part is it brushes the hair while drying, which makes my hair smoother and straighter.

Yay! SO glad to hear that, PL! Thanks for the feedback!

  3. Lisa

Thanks, was waiting for a deal on this!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh perfect! Happy this popped up for you today, Lisa! You’re SO welcome!

  4. Krystal

I love mine!!! Takes 10-15 min to dry my hair now instead of an hr w a traditional dryer. My 10 yr old finds it heavy for her to use. But I think it’s a decent weight

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful comment, Krystal! Good to know!

  5. Kathleen

Just ordered mine! Between credit card rewards I saved, the $10 from Whole Foods, and prime day discounts…paid $4

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! Such an awesome score!

  6. kayti

I love mine! It doesn’t dry my hair faster than any other hair dryer, BUT it does smooth it and tame the frizz like no other product has! I highly recommend this dryer!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a TON for the recommendation, Kayti! Happy to hear how well it has worked for you!

  7. Kathy

Anyone tried this with short hair? Wondering if it would work for me😊

    • Nana Donna 2 6

      I’m wondering the same.

      • Fegs

I have chin length hair and it works great. Love it. What a great price!

    • Jen

I would not recommend it for short hair. The barrel is quite large and oval shaped. Shoulder length hair would work better.

  8. Pradlein

I have this and it’s amazing! I highly recommend.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh good! Thanks for the feedback, Pradlein!!

  9. Ashley

Got mine at the last Ulta deal posted and I have super thick, long, wavy hair and it is amazing. Seriously looks like I get blowouts and so easy to use.

  10. April

I bought this a few weeks ago when a deal was posted. I absolutely love it. I have thick, long, semi-frizzy hair. It leaves my hair soft and shiny…like I just stepped out of the salon. Also, it’s a large barrel so it cuts my styling time in half.

  11. Wren

    Love mine too 👍👍👍

  12. Amy Lipinski

Love mine as well. Momma got one too and she’s in love. Question for you lovely ladies… what great protectant do yall use? Ive never used any and my hair is not happy.

    • Beth

I really like the tresemme one! And it’s only $5!

    • Thao

I use HSI argan oil heat protector spray. It’s about $14 on Amazon. I like its wide misting spray, how soft my hair feels after blow drying, and it has a nice, subtle smell too.

  13. tishabell

I have fine thin hair shoulder length hair
    Will this be worth it

    • Sharon

      Yes!!!

    • Nadiya

      yes, best thing

  14. lisabestboyer

Uh oh! I bought it too! My 15 yr old has that semi frizzy hair too. The only time it looks smooth is when it’s done at the salon. I hope it works out as well as April’s.

  15. Lisanne

Just want to add to the input about how much I love this dryer. I love the blowout look but it never turned out with a round brush and dryer, this works amazingly well. My hair is on the fine/thin side but it still works great.

I bought a couple of higher-end brands of heat protectant at the salon but have had just as much luck with the Loreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray followed by the Loreal Blow Dry It Thermal Smoother Cream, so I will stick with that line for cost savings.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh great! Thanks so much for taking a moment to share your experience with us, Lisanne! We sure appreciate it!

  16. Nana Donna 2 6

    I’m wondering the same.

    • Nana Donna 2 6

I don’t know if my reply got posted in the right section. I was wondering if this dryer styler would work with short hair, layered to bottom of earlobes. Fine texture, super straight, but “bendable” according to my stylist.

      • Gail

If you type the word “short” in the have a question section above reviews on the Amazon site you’ll find answers. Seems like most say it will dry it but barrel is large so your hair might not wrap around the brush.

      • Susan

No. The barrel is really big and oblong shaped. I would not recommend this for anyone with anything less than shoulder length hair. Hope this helps!

      • Nana Donna 2 6

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I didn’t get one and got my hair cut a tad bit shorter and texturized. Glad I did…it’s a nasty one out there in Eastern Iowa. The styling of fine, straight hair doesn’t hold up much anyway in this humidity.

  17. Nana Donna 2 6

Thanks, Gail. That’s what I kinda figured. Oh well, my search continues.

    • Melissa

I think you should go for it! I’ve used when my hair was short and shoulder length no problem either way & I love it. I watched some YouTube videos before deciding. It helped learn how to use it and be prepared for the size and weight.

  18. Becca

I love this thing. I found it on clearance at Walmart several months ago for about $20. The best $20 I’ve spend in a while.
