I bought these for my home and liked them so much I ordered them for our office. They work as nightlights and have a white light or an RBG cycle. You can make them stay on or be motion detected. When the power goes out, they light up brightly and a button on the side turns them into a bright, forward facing flashlight. They last a long time as long as you remember to let the batteries discharge every once in a while. They work as batteries to charge your phone if you need them too, which is pretty cool.
These are AWESOME.
AS A NIGHTLIGHT: We plug them around our house so when we get up to go to bathroom at night, we don’t even have to turn lights on. Great because like other backup/nightlights purchased, these turn OFF when no motion and turn on when we pass by and turn off again after awhile.
AS A BACKUP LIGHT: We were/are part of the PGE power shutoff due to wildfires in SF Bay Area and these worked out great. We used them so we get around house when no power is on. Because they turn off w/o motion, we were able to use them for a couple of days. We recharged after 2 days but may have gone longer due to self shutoff.
I wasn’t sure about these and bought them on a whim. They’re actually cool! I have them down each hallway in my home and they’re great for night time walks to the bathroom etc. The motion sensor is just one additional small security aspect to your home. And of course ready for an emergency.
Cool! Thanks so much for telling us why you like them, gug!
