This Le Creuset dutch oven lasts forever! It evenly distributes heat and locks in moisture when you cook with the lid on. It has an interior enamel that is easy to clean and resists chipping and staining. It is heat resistant up to 400° and can be used on a stovetop, grill or oven.

Undecided? Here’s a review that may be helpful…

I’ve always wanted one of these but they are so expensive! I saw these at Costco and had to get it at this price. While red wasn’t my first choice of colors, it will match at my Christmas and 4th of July parties, plus I like the black “ombré” as opposed to a straight up red. I love the size, it’s not overly wide, it’s a good height for my family of 5. Thank you for offering this, Costco!!

This is amazing. I use it all the time. Highly recommend! I bought one almost twice this size that I use just as much also. Family of 11. Large meals.

I see these and their rave reviews, but I’ve never used one. What exactly do you use it for?

For soups and stews! Anything you slow cook. It’s a none electric crock pot, basically. We love ours! I made the most amazing pot roast last weekend😋

I love mine and have had it for years. They have amazing warranty too. I am tempted for another one

That is an awesome price! I have the 7 1/4 qt. Love, love, love it!!! Be careful with the knob on the lid. It’s only oven safe up to a certain temperature. I bought the stainless steel knob so I don’t have to think about it. I make everything in mine. Pulled pork, bread, soup, chili.

I don’t have this brand but I have a food network one from kohl’s and have had it going on 8 years. I use it for EVERYTHING! I braise meats in it, make stews, chili, soup, Mac and cheese, apple sauce – you name it – I’ve used this pot for it. Absolutely one of my all time favorite kitchen tools. I could probably never buy one of these due to the price regardless of the wonderful reviews but I use mine enough to warrant an investment like that. Highly recommend!

My most used piece of cookware. If your on the fence go for it. The lower brand ones that are made in China do not come close to the quality of Le Creuset or Staub.

  7. Lindsey

Please note this version is only oven safe to 400 degrees. Many dutch oven recipes call for a higher temperature.

You can purchase a stainless steel knob at the Le Creuset outlet store pretty cheap. (I think $25)

I don’t cook large enough meals to warrant buying a large le creuset Dutch oven right now, but definitely worth the investment for the warranty alone if you can wing it, imo. I know people collect these to decorate kitchens, so cute! Anyway these days with so much waste, buying items and throwing things out, better to buy 1 and done quality items I’ve learned. Better to have 1 of these, then 4 so-so pots that come out to the same cost anyway.

What vegetarian dishes do you all cook using this? I dont eat meat and use instant pot a lot. Love to use IP for pretty much everything. Am I missing anything by not buying this? I feel like getting this as everyone’s talking about it, but not sure. Can someone please share your thoughts and experiences? Thanks!! 😊

I’m so glad I didn’t buy the 6 3/4 wide round dutch oven on Le creuset on sale for $250 last week. This is a much better deal. Too bad there are no other color available.

I have two Martha Stewart dutch ovens (6qt & 8qt) purchased at Macy’s 5-6 years ago and they are wonderful. I got them on Black Friday, seems like one was $25 & one was $35 (or there abouts). They have been amazing, not sure if I could stomach purchasing the Le Creuset ones tho, even at that “bargain” price. Great for making artisan bread in too – yum!
