We purchased this 3 summers ago at Costco. Worth every penny & are considerably cheaper then others I found. There’s a couple small chunks taken out of it but it’s still in great shape & will certainly last a long time. My daughter & her friends are gymnasts and they do a bunch of flips before diving into the water. The boys (big & small) jump off the side of the boat on it. It is so worth the investment!
Thanks for that awesome recommendation! Sounds like it is well worth the money and fun!
We also bought this one at Costco 3 summers ago (different colors) and it has been worth the money for sure! My kids play with it every day on the lake. It is still in excellent condition.
Can’t say enough good things about it.
On the lake!? That’s awesome! Thanks, Sophie!
We have a similar type, a LilyPad. The one at Sam’s is good, but not as thick, and I don’t tihink it will last as long, or take as much weight. We have used ours for about 8 years, the kids use it in the lake as a little island to jump on and off. its awesome!
If you are in Cleveland area, I’d recommend getting the real Lily Pad instead. (and I am not affiliated at all, I just have seen both in action)
I would argue they appear to be 90% the exact same product – same manufacturer, same UV resistant closed cell PE foam, similar designs (Costco product just different from Aqua Lily’s own), same thickness and “Flex-Core” technology, and the dimensions are just 1′ in length different from the Lily Pad. The original Lily Pad does hold a bit more weight at 18′ even though The Pad at Costco is 2 lbs heavier.
Note: I spoke to Costco and it appears The Pad is being discontinued, but you can still find them at some local stores for $299.99 (no longer discounted to $239.99 in store). I’m going out to grab one for this summer before they’re gone!
I’m in search of a small metal frame above ground pool 10’-12’ wide to put in our patio. They are out of stock everywhere. Anyone know why?
Do they fill with water? Are they heavy to pull out of the water? We live on a lake and have been debating on getting one for teenage boys. Thanks!
No, it doesn’t fill with water. My 2 kids (10 and 12) can pull it out by themselves and roll it up and put it back in the garage. It’s lighter to carry than what it looks like. And it dries really fast.
All the kids around the lake come and play on ours. They swim it out and tie it up to a buoy and play king of the raft. We also tie it up to our water trampoline.
Awesome…Thank you Sophie! I think I will get as a together birthday gift for my boys.
Hello! Happy Hump Day! I do not see where I can get it for $299. It’s listed for over $300….what am I doing wrong!
Hi Rachael! Happy Wednesday! Sorry for any confusion. It appears this is an older, now expired post. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any similar deals!
