Okay, I know this is a great deal, but just going to mention this….my son and I heard a report on the radio (and interviews with ex-delivery people) that 28% of the delivery drivers eat, pick or try the food they are delivering. Just FYI. Otherwise, the other 72% are okay. Food for thought I guess is all it is. The people interviewed said, check how many wings/sticks/etc. They would eat one out of each order so if you were supposed to get 8, there might be 7 and the driver might have eaten it!
Sometimes it can be the restaurant also. Pizza Hut near by us do it most of the times, they don’t give you all because they think either people don’t count or complain.
After all of the posts of stupid people licking, spitting and who knows what else to food, I would be scared to have anything delivered!

Ok…aside from this current discount, what would be the reason to use door dash if im not having them deliver my food? I can understand using it in regards to a $10 off $10 etc….but why otherwise? Why would i place a pickup order and not just call the restaurant?
So that you don’t have to call the restaurant. For people who work in a cubicle, they may not want to make public phone calls. For people with children, they don’t have to deal with their kids making noise in the background. You can place the order ahead of time with most delivery apps (so you can place an order on Thursday for a busy Saturday so you don’t have to think about it on Saturday). The reasons are endless.
I could not find a button in the top right to create a group order as group. Can someone help?
Click on the menu of the restaurant you want first then you’ll see it in the top corner!

Update: After I placed an order I chatted in to complain about the promo not working. I was informed that GROUPORDER15 was no longer an active promo.
I only went ahead with the order because my family was looking forward to the meals they chose by the point we realized the code wasn’t working. I’m totally disappointed with DoorDash.
