Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully, it was just that product went out of stock.
Talbots cancelled my order. The item I bought still shows as being available on their website, which makes my blood boil. The first time I called about my order, it went to a phone center where I could hear people speaking asian, then it went totally silent. The next time I called the customer service number, it went from waiting several minutes, to saying no one was available. I am very angry. I feel tricked. They harvested my information, including my phone number, and I got nothing, not even my $10 coupon back to try again. If you post Talbots again Hip2save, I will not click. As far as I am concerned, you have been part of a scam. If this type of thing continues, I will not come back. The Chinese now have my cell phone number, my name and address, and my credit card number all connected. Infuriating.
There is never a reason to use your real phone number for this, they can email me,they do not need to call me so don’t give that out.
Maybe consider getting and using a prepaid card for this sort of thing, that’s another way to protect your information.
