For what it’s worth, I have an Anova and absolutely love it. I didn’t think I would use it as much as I do, but I use it at least 2x a week. I love it for cooking chicken breasts to use in salads or casseroles, as it keeps the chicken super tender. And also love it for cooking steaks/filets to the perfect degree of doneness for me, then we do a quick sear for me and a longer sear for my husband. I can set it up at breakfast, or lunch, and let it go all day and it always turns out well. I have used it for many other recipes as well but at least 2x a week for chicken/steak.

We have an Anova sous vide, and it is 100% the way to go when it comes to cooking meat. Since this method is super precise with temperature, there’s almost no risk of overcooking and you always get things exactly where you want it (so if you’re a medium-rare steak person, set it to 130 degrees and it’s basically fool proof). It’s also a low and slow method of cooking, so food turns out incredibly tender. I seriously can’t say enough good things about sous vide cooking. It’s a game-changer.

We love our Sous Vide! During the summer we tote it back and forth to our cabin because we prefer it to grilling certain cuts of meat.
