Amazon has what your slow cooker needs!

It’s fall y’all, which means it’s also slow cooker season! Time to cook up your family’s favorite slow cooker appetizers and entrées.

The only issue with a slow cooker is that you can only make one thing in it at a time! To remedy this problem, you could pop on over to Amazon and grab these Crock Pockets Slow Cooker Divider Silicone Inserts for $39.95 shipped!

With these inserts, you can make two appetizers at once or your main entrée and side all at the same time. The one big downside we see? The price tag.

Let us know in the comments below – would you use these, and do you think they’re worth the price tag?

These reusable silicone dividers are non-stick and dishwasher-safe, and can be easily placed in your 6-, 7-, or 8-quart slow cooker and filled with ingredients. If one side finishes cooking before the other, you can remove the insert that is complete and place it in a separate dish to be served.

But why do they have to be so expensive?! Depending on the size and brand, you may find that you’d pay more for the Crock Pockets than you would for an entire new CrockPot! 😱

Check out these rave Crock Pocket reviews…

This is a great product – I love being able to cook two completely different things at once, or two versions of the same thing (spicy/not spicy, salty/not salty, low-calorie/regular). The product is very sturdy and so much better than those flimsy disposable liners that always end up spilling and making a big mess. It holds 2lbs of pecans by itself without falling over or collapsing (see photo). If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate- you’ll get a ton of use out of this.

Love this product! In the past, I’ve tried using two crockpot bags for two sides, and one of them spilled everywhere, such an annoying hassle. I’ve been searching for something like this forever! I bought this for Thanksgiving and made glazed sweet potatoes and an artichoke dip. They were perfect and are such great quality! I couldn’t recommend these Crock Pockets more!

I think this just makes putting together a whole meal so much easier. I can do sides on one side and my main dish on the other. Plus clean up is a breeze.

While the Crock Pockets do have great reviews, there’s a more frugal option to try…

I have had a crockpot with a divided bowl insert for 15 years and never used it once. You could buy another crockpot for that high price.

      I thought the same thing🤣

I guarantee the raters got these at a deeply deeply discounted price compared to this price. I think it seems pretty useful but not when it’s double the price of a crock pot. You are essentially getting much less room to cook by dividing it yet spending double the price tag.

I agree the price point isn’t great, but as a handicapped person who can’t stand for long periods, lifting a heavy crock insert to clean them is tough sometimes. Having another insert that pops out would help that. The other good part is if you have a greasy item and don’t want to pour the remainders down the sink, it would be easy to stick in the fridge to harden the fat for disposal. I’m sure the price will go down eventually, or someone will make a knockoff. My other question is what are they made of? I wouldn’t want plastic to be heating all day.

Oops, I see now it is silicone.

You should try the crock pot liners so you don’t have to wash the crock pot after each meal – very cheap 🙂

I do use them, thank you. I seem to sometimes have a little residue under the liner. I am not sure why because I never find a hole, but I do end up cleaning the crock in the sink every time anyway,

As a single person I find this very convenient. I love using my slow cooker, but the size is overwhelming. This would be great for cooking 2 different meals or a main dish and a side at the same time. I agree with everyone about the price point though. I am definitely going to try that Reynolds hack!

I like the idea but not the price. I picked up a small crockpot that I use for sides to go with the main meal I cook in the bigger crockpot. I have the Ninja crockpot which has a metal insert and not crock so it’s lighter. I have arthritis so this is very helpful.
