Get ready to save even more at your Kroger store!

Have you heard about Kroger’s cash-back program? Despite being around since 2019, many shoppers aren’t utilizing it at all or as much as they should!

If you are a frequent Kroger shopper and/or are just trying to save money on groceries, this is a super simple way to save! Simply create a Kroger account, register your Shopper’s Card, and then head over here to view all the current cash back offers. Clip the qualifying cash-back offers prior to your grocery trip or within a week of purchasing the item – the more you purchase these qualifying cash-back items, the more your cash earned balance increases!

You’ll then be able to send this balance to your Shopper’s Card. From there, you can use this balance on in-store purchases!

Kroger Checkout Lanes

To keep you motivated with a penny-pinching mindset, Kroger even has a 5-Week Saving Streak to keep you enticed while saving as much as possible! Currently, you can score cash-back offers on select snacks, cereal, beer, wine, and more.

Note: Digital/paper coupons and cash back offers may not be combined and are limited to one per item.

I do but have had issues in the past with the cash back showing up. I always take a screenshot of the offer and then if it doesn’t show up after a week, I’ll contact them. They’re always good about fixing it.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing about your experience with the cash-back offers, Klp! Such a great idea to take a screenshot of the offer! 🙌❤️

  2. Klp

Do you get anything for completing a 5 week saving streak?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

I was curious about this too, Klp! I checked with customer service on this and here’s what they shared with me – “there are no incentives or rewards at the end of the 5-week period.” Bummer! Hoping that’s helpful! 💓

      • Sandra link

I wish i had taken a picture. It said if you completed the 5 week streak you received $25. So I’m confused why but thank you for the information.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! ❤️ That would have been an awesome incentive to complete the streak. 😱 I’ve definitely kicked myself for not taking screenshots of offers before. I try to take screenshots for everything now, so I completely understand! Hoping a similar offer pops up again like that one soon for you! 🤞💞

I use it but rarely save any money. But every little bit helps.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! I definitely agree that every bit adds up! 🤗💓

  4. Yellowfan

I was using the cash back once it started . It worked fine then it’s not working. I wondered might be cause by using the digital coupon . Stranger thing was recently I saw $33 cash appeared on my shopper’s card but the cash out button is not working, so I can’t cash out the $ . Sucks! 🤔 anyone ?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! So sorry to hear you’re having trouble cashing out, Yellowfan! You might try reaching out to Kroger customer service at 1-800-KRO-GERS to see if they might be able to help pinpoint and claim your cashback earnings! 🤞❤️

I use it too – but it’s buggy and sometimes doesn’t recognize items that I have bought (and checked off). I don’t have the desire or time to talk to customer service, so I consider it a bonus if I do earn a small amount of money from it.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer that it doesn’t always apply the offers for you, Jill! Thanks for sharing about your experience with these offers! 💗

  6. John

I’ve used it occasionally, and it’s sometimes good when combined with a sale and an ibotta offer, but good deals are pretty rare and it’s not worth the bother usually. Note that you cannot get Kroger cash back if you use a digital or paper coupon anymore. Also, other Kroger family companies (such as Marianos) have the cash back offers, too, but Kroger usually has more. However, if you have a Kroger account that’s linked to a Marianos account (same log in), you can add Kroger cash back offers and coupons and they will show up on your other account.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback on how you’ve used these offers, John! Good to know that they aren’t combinable with other coupons – and that affiliate stores have similar offers! ❤️

I find this program more of a headache than it’s worth. I have had numerous problems getting credit for purchases. When I call about the problem, the customer service representative keeps me on hold for a long time while trying to fix the problem. While I eventually do get the problem resolved, it really should not be so arduous. Because of this, I am using the program much less than I used to. However, if you shop for wine, the savings can add up quickly!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Good to know that the cashback offers may be worth the time for wine purchases, Gillian! 🍷 Thanks so much for taking a moment to share about your previous experiences with claiming these offers. 💕

  8. Kat

It seems like the majority of the items on the cash back program are adult beverages. For those of us that don’t drink, this program is usless.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts with us on the offers that have popped up for you, Kat!

  9. Brenda

I use too, but there’s not a lot of cash back items that I buy anymore, but I still load some here and there and just treat it like it’s a bonus, wouldn’t buy anything thinking I’ll get cash back for it 😊

  10. Marc Richardson

It’s a huge scam if the cash back potentially exceeds loose change. EVERY TIME I’ve tried buying an item with more than $1.00 back, the money NEVER shows up and I call support and they act like this is the first time the program has ever had a glitch. Shame on Kroger!!!
