Register a kiddo to make a free birdhouse at the Lowe’s free kid’s workshop.
On Saturday, March 16th, from 10AM – 1PM, Lowe’s will be hosting another FREE Lowe’s Kids Workshop event where kids can build a Flower Bird Feeder! Be sure to register by March 15th to save your spot! Plus, if your little builder earns 12 badges by attending the workshops, they will receive a FREE tool bag!

Score a FREE ice cream cone in March for Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen.
In previous years, Dairy Queen has hosted their annual Free Cone Day and it’s usually held on the first day of Spring! Even sweeter, there’s no purchase necessary to score this delicious freebie! While we don’t quite know the exact date of the 2024 Free Cone Day, if history repeats itself we’re anticipating 2024 Free Cone Day to be March 19th this year.

You can also score a FREE Rita’s Italian Ice for the first day of Spring.
Rita’s also hosts an annual Free Italian Ice Day for the first day of Spring and if it’s anything like previous years, we anticipate this event to take place on March 19th, 2024. There’s no purchase necessary and every guest will get the flavor of their choice. Last year, they even included a new flavor, Gummy Bear Ice, so we’re anticipating something fresh for 2024 too!

Take advantage of winter clearance during March at all your favorite retailers.
Out with the old, in with the new! By March, nearly every retailer will be stocked with new Spring arrivals so this is the perfect month to find a plethora of winter clothing clearance deals for men’s, women, kids, and plus sizes. Head to your favorite clothing stores online or in-store to grab a few new pieces for the lowest prices!

Check Lowe’s and The Home Depot for possible 25¢ pavers towards the end of March.
If history repeats itself we expect to see some deep discounts on brick and concrete pavers by the end of March which will be early enough to start your next outdoor project for summer! On March 28th, Home Depot concrete pavers were just 25¢ each, and on March 30th Lowe’s paver bricks were also just 25¢ each. These sales were only for a limited time so be sure to plan your project now so you’re prepared for when the 2024 sale happens!
Expect to see Easter clearance well before the holiday on March 31st.
This year, Easter is on Sunday, March 31st, 2024. Last year, we saw a flood of hot clearance deals well before the holiday so we definitely anticipate seeing the same in 2024. Some of the deals we saw in 2023 were Walmart Easter decor starting at $1, personalized Easter baskets for under $20, basket stuffers for $5 at Target, BOGO free CVS candy, and even 50% OFF deals on Cooks corned beef.

By March, luggage retailers are looking for ways to up their sales with holiday travels behind us and the majority of travelers waiting until summer vacations. To increase sales, many retailers will offer discounts on luggage sets and it’s a great time for you to prepare if you have a Spring or Summer trip in the works. Last year we even saw deals on other travel accessories like the best travel backpacks and 70% off Walgreens makeup bags.

The Wal-mart near me has been putting out VanLeeuwen ice creams on clearance for $1.50. It’s been fun trying the different flavors. I’m so happy I didn’t spend $5 to try the macaroni and cheese, But we have found some real good ones.
