Taco Bell Mexican Pizza is Back (& Possibly FREE for Rewards Members!)

After 18 months of heartbreak, we’re soaring over the moon to let you know that Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza is finally back!
This fan-favorite dish was so heavily missed that a petition on Change.org received almost 200,000 signatures for its return. Taco Bell listened to its fans and decided to bring it back as a permanent item! The company even reached out to the superfan who started the petition, Krish Jagirdar, to personally announce the good news via phone!
The Taco Bell Mexican Pizza is made of beans, pizza sauce, seasoned beef, tomatoes, and melted cheese layered in between two crispy flour shells. Taco Bell makes vegetarian options convenient, as you can customize any entree, including the Mexican Pizza, to omit any meat!
You might have unknowingly scored a FREE Mexican pizza!
If you’re a Taco Bell rewards member and scored a mystery reward back during the Big Game, you may have scored a reward for a FREE Mexican Pizza – available in your Taco Bell App and valid through June 1st. Just head to the rewards section to see if you scored a coupon, then hit “Redeem” and add a Mexican Pizza to any order and the discount will automatically apply at checkout.
If you want to enjoy a Mexican Pizza from the comfort of your own home, DoorDash will be the first to exclusively deliver Taco Bell through May 26th. On top of that, use the code MEXPIZZA at checkout for $2 off your Mexican Pizza when you spend $12+! On May 27th, delivery will branch out to other platforms.

Haha, “Mexican pizza?!?? Ummm yes, please. Two of my favorite things combined into one at one of my favorite fast-food restaurants, Taco Bell! This delicious and not-so-nutritious meal was perfect for an afternoon lunch.
Having it being my first time ever tasting it, I wanted to see what all the buzz was about. Honestly, for it being kind of small I am actually pretty full. It’s a blend of Taco Bell magic in a pizza-like shape made for a perfect combination!
Taco Bell also announced a new sustainability practice! Their initiative includes a sauce packet recycling program with the help of TerraCycle. This supports their commitment to having all recyclable, compostable, or reusable packaging by 2025. We do love those Taco Bell sauces, so how amazing would it be for the packaging to not harm the planet?

We hardly go to Taco Bell and we went a few months ago and I asked for one and the lady laughed and said that they haven’t had that on the menu for a long time. Well, that shows how often I go but I am so happy they are brining it back.
Daisy is probably like us…all the really good items have been removed from the menu, making true TB fans having to look elsewhere for good fast food.

if you think you don’t have the Big Game reward, it’s hard to find. I had to go to “rewards” (clicking on link at bottom of screen/the icon of the present), and then check “My messages” from there — it was in the upper right-had corner of phone screen. It was in a message in there.

What does it say in the message?
it says “guess what’s back? the saucy reward we promised you is finally being revealed.” then it has the dates where it will be valid and says it’s available via app for in store or drive-through.
if you click on “Learn more” it shows the pizza and says Mexican Pizza is coming back and “you’re getting one for FREE.”

They still have the salsa verde or green salsa at least at my locations in AZ, you can add it when you mobile order, or you can ask for a container of it in-store.

It’s not free until 5/19, all you might have now is a MESSAGE saying you will be getting one for Free, but you might not have that either if you weren’t signed up for Taco Bell rewards in time to qualify for a free one.
